It was quite a task to organise as I had never done anything like this before. I was given a budget and set a job to cater to one hundred guests which seemed very daunting at the time. I used a local business in Smithfield called Party Hire Group. The staff were really helpful and explained everything I would need, from a marquee, to chairs, tables, sound, lighting and entertainment. They took the time to discuss the different options available and what products suited our type of event and what I would need to hire to make the party a success. Their prices were great and the delivery and set up was flexible to our requriements. It made it easy to deal with a friendly team and their range of different party hire products made it easy as I was able to get most of the things we needed at the one place. Overall it was a great experience dealing with them and I would recommend them to others who might get thrown in the deep end and have to organise a party.

She wanted to plan her son Rufus' 5 year old birthday party and originally thought of doing a Cars themed party but wanted to do something a little different and get the kids to interact and be active. Kids today are so focused on their ipads and iphones and sometimes forget to just run around and have fun. She chose the sports themed party in the park and Ben, one of the staff members took care of the whole thing. There were about 10 5-6 year olds and the entertainment lasted for about an hour and a half. The kids had a great time and the parents basically just got to sit back and enjoy the nice day outside. There's a good variety of themes to choose from for kids of all ages. Pretty cool concept!

Planning a party whether it is a theme party or not, this is a store to visit. Wrapping paper and numerous birthday cards are on stands. Love reading the humorous cards and chuckling at the door. The staff are helpful and pleasant. There is a huge range of goods to keep you busy in amusing oneself.

Positives: The room was avail early. Greatly appreciated after a 15 hr direct flight. We wanted to clean up b4 exploring "Harbor City"; Staff was super friendly & helpful. Mini bar items were complimentary; Good location in Barangaroo, a neighborhood on the edge of CBD. Plenty of bars & restaurants within walking distance; Negatives: Small 250 sf room. An upgrade to a 500 sf suite would have cost $180 AUD more per night; No lanai (patio) to take in the fresh air; No wand in the shower; No Executive lounge; No pool; No view for being so close to Darling Harbour; No local restaurant recs via the app like other Hiltons I have stayed at; Tiny gym; The No's (negatives), far outweigh the positives: I would not stay here again.
