We've been going to Borkowski for probably about 20 years. I used to call us "frequent flyers"…read moreduring a period where we had young drivers and also some all-too-often parking lot dents and dings. One of our cars was in a fairly major accident a few weeks ago, although still drivable. It took a few days for me to get in for an estimate, but once I did they took great care of me. I brought it back in a week, once the parts were ordered, and it was fixed about 2 1/2 weeks later and looks beautiful. If anyone in the Indianapolis area asks me where to take their car for bodywork, I always recommend Borkowski. They do great work, and the staff are great to work with. One other thing worth noting is their waiting area looks like a doctor's office waiting room. It's that clean. Even the restroom is super clean.

Steve assured us that they could handle the repairs that needed to be done. But after over a month of having my car in Indy for repairs I went back to get my car and could not believe my eyes. There were cigarette burns in the seats (we don't smoke). He cut every corner he could to save a buck.and he charged my insurance company over $12,000.00 in repairs. But the worst of all is that when I came home to Chicago I had 2 estimates of the damage done, 1 by a local mechanic and the other by a certified Nissan dealer. I couldn't believe when they sat me down and told me that he replaced my air bags with old used airbags. They weren't even new. He spared no expense to himself even at the safety of my family (I have 2 small children). I took all of the documentation and took him to court. He has a judgement against him for what he did but my car will never be the same. Nor will my trust in body shops. Please beware. And always have your car towed home no matter what the cost.
