This is the most unfair, ridiculous trailer repair service we have ever experienced. $15 filter…read morecost over $1,187.11. The driver called service that was showing on Truck Repair app 58 miles away. The answering service said the shop was closed on Saturday and it was also 200 miles away, but they can send a mechanic to change a fuel filter in his trailer. NO ONE CONTACTED ANY OF THE MANAGERS OR OWNER OF OUR COMPANY FOR APPROVAL OR ESTIMATE. They never even informed my driver of their miles or the cost of the repair and they never got an approval of charges from him as well. If we knew they had to drive more than 58 miles we would contact any other shop closer. For half hour work they charged $1,187.11 and said that bill included pay per mile, pay per hour and shop supply $85! Would love to see that expensive shop supply for a simple filter change! We contacted the service manager Rick and the owner Brendan to try to negotiate the price and they both said it was a fair price. They also said that their calling service could not tell my driver that they were closed or 200 miles away, which was a lie. They blocked our trailer so the driver would not move and they called police while we tried to negotiate with management. This is a very very poor service and to lie like this to cover your people is not professional and affects your business, because companies and drivers talk. Do not use this service. We all in the same business and scam companies and drivers on the road shows how you do business in your shop.

I paid them to build and install a flatbed on my Super Duty truck. The hacked up the main supports…read moreon the bed to try to make it fit over the hump in the frame and then clamped it down using 2 square u-bolts per side. It didn't actually clear the hump, so when they tightened down the u-bolts, it rocked on the frame and twisted the bed out of alignment. To top it off, they used coolant hose for the fuel filler and kinked it during the installation so I couldn't fill my truck up on the way home. The bed itself was OK, but severely lacking in fit and finish, not at all worth the money paid, and heavily damaged as a result of the installation. They insist that all of the issues that I documented and took pictures of are "within acceptable tolerances" and the same quality as all of their other installs, which is even scarier IMO. I had to reinstall the bed myself, file a complaint with the BBB and a dispute with my credit card company. These trailers are so wonderful. I wanted to get a light yet strong totally rust free trailer and…read morewent with the 21.5' tilt bed option model 8220. I had the factory put on a tool box with the hydraulic tilt option, and a few things they do not list. One is I had them weld on rope tie down points at key positions that I sent a design layout for and then an incredibly useful rope and chain storage tray slot between the tool box and front rail. Most factories won't do customizations like that for good reason. It takes time to interface with the customer, time to consider the design, and a slow down on the production line from the everyday efficient build method of the standard units. They were very fair with the costs of these customizations and I am so thrilled they did them as these small things really help the ergonomics and efficiency of my use of the trailer. And I forgot to mention how beautiful the trailer is and how it perfectly matches my silver Sprinter van and how many compliments I've gotten on the road. I absolutely love this thing and can not see a reason why this trailer should not be the last I ever buy. Thank you Aluma Trailer.
