We have a 13-year-old daughter for whom we are considering braces. We went to three different Orthodontists in Salt Lake and Park City for quotes on getting braces and heard 3 different recommendations. One said just putting braces on would do the trick, another said our daughter may need teeth extracted before getting braces and a third mentioned something about jaw surgery. We were confused as to what to do, so we decided to go to an Oral Surgeon for an objective opinion. We scheduled a consultation with Dr. Stosich to see what he recommends. I was impressed at how professional and thorough the examination was. In addition to the X-rays taken, Dr. Stosich had several assistants in the room while he took various measurements of her facial structure, jaw alignment and features. He then spent quite a bit of time talking with our daughter about her family history, what she likes and doesn't like about her facial features and her overall goal in getting braces. The Doctor then showed us a computer generated image of her profile based on the x-rays and measurements on a large screen so we could visualize what her jaw structure looked like now and what the outcome of the various recommendations would look like. Dr. Stosich reviewed each of the 3 recommendations made by the other Orthodontists and explained what they would do and what the outcome would look like. We liked the fact that even though he is an Oral Surgeon specializing in jaw surgery, he did not push it as the only option but instead gave us pros and cons of each option for us to decide for ourselves what the best course of action would be. We do like the fact that jaw surgery can be covered buy insurance and it does produce lasting, long-term results than simply braces alone. And not to mention, corrective jaw surgery has the added benefit of minimizing snoring later down the road, as it runs in the family. Overall, I would highly recommend a consultation with an Oral Surgeon before getting braces for your child if he or she has a large overbite. You are investing in your child's future and he or she will have that smile forever, so you might as well do it right the first time. We haven't decided on our final course of action yet, so we will keep you posted and write a follow-up to this soon.

He walked me through the entire process and post-op visits, and he's a genuinely nice, easygoing person who communicates clearly and puts you at ease. His office was also very accommodating, especially considering I traveled from out of state for the surgery. This would have been a 5/5 experience, but unfortunately I ran into issues with the office handling the required paperwork for state disability benefits. Despite following up more than 15 times via email and phone and receiving multiple assurances that it would be taken care of, the paperwork was never filed, which resulted in me losing my state disability benefits (up to $1000). While the office handled my medical insurance and short-term disability insurance without issues, state disability paperwork seems to be different, and this part was not managed successfully. I feel little sorry for them because of so much paperwork they had to do for my case, and they are not used to work with different states disability benefits, but I tried my best for them providing all the neccessary information and help them to file necessary papers. From a surgical and clinical standpoint, I highly recommend Dr. Stosich. I just wish the administrative side, particularly state disability paperwork, had been handled with the same level of care. I was a bit of a special case coming from out of state, so I don't expect most patients to have issues on the administrative side.

From the time I called for an appointment to now (1 week post-op) our experiennce has been wonderful! The staff was friendly and kind and Dr. Hendrickson was knowledgable and professional. He made us feel comfortable and answered every question I had. His office was clean and well maintained. We were there for just over an hour total and I appreciated that they did his consult and x-rays on the day of surgery. The information/instruction sheet they provided made me completely comfortable with what to expect after and I was impressed that they gave me an emergency number for any concerns or complications after surgery. Without dental insurance I found that their cash price was great, less than a few other offices. I would have gladly paid more. It's hard to find good old fashoined Customer Care and that's exactly what we got at Wisdom Teeth Only. I would highly reccomemded them and will be taking my other sons there when it's time to get their wisdom teeth removed. Thanks for the FANTASTIC SERVICE!

I mean that's great and all but if I have something stuck in my teeth I don't see how that helps. Also I was told I was being rude for telling them my symptoms and was wondering why I was denied a checkup. They instead went around what I said and told me I was never denied and that the situation was resolved. I'm not sure who I was talking to but seriously it's not my job to be nice when I'm frustrated it's their job to be professional. So yeah just take a pill and cross your fingers is the best this place will do for you if the healing doesn't go well. They told me they'd be happy to see me at there other location miles from where I stay so that's your second bet. Either way I'm disappointed in my visit. Take my money and run is the vibes I get from this place.
