The first made me feel I was imposing on them with my amateur questions and I very much got the "move along" vibe. A little bummed I moved on and stopped in at Santa Rita Steel - whole different ball of wax. They have a friendly and helpful staff and a relaxed atmosphere. They actually took me out to the yard and showed me different material options and even some sample fence sections in the back - helping me change my plan a bit and get the correct amount of material ordered up. The first fence project was a hit with both the neighbors and our tenants and I'm now on my 3rd fence - death to rotting wooden fences! I'll always use Santa Rita Steel for my material.

To my surprise, no one sold these GE plates in the whole state of AZ. In fact, I was told by several people including electricians that I would need to spend thousands of dollars to upgrade my box because it was from the early 80's. I am in no position to spend that kind of money. My inspector simply require I have a deadplate covering my breakers. So I got busy calling around to several metal and steel business to request a plate be made. Due to COVID 19 many places didn't have the bandwidth to get this done in a 24/48hr turnaround time or they didn't/won't due this type of work. I was desperate because my deadline was fast approaching. To my surprise, I was guided to contact Santa Rita Steel. I spoke with Poncho and well, the rest is history. Not only were they able to get my plate drafted and made within 48hours, they did with a superb price point. I will definitely recommend calling them to handle your needs, big or small. Lots of back and forth about marking the water lines that run under the fence line between the meter and the house. I didn't want the project to start until those lines were marked and Rudy didn't care. Rudy told me installation could begin because he had clearance from the Tucson Water Department. But it turns out that the city only clears the line running to the meter, not the lines from the meter to the house. I found out, after calling 811 (Before You Dig), that the lines to the house are considered private and that I needed to hire a private contractor to locate the lines, which I did. Despite the lines having been marked, the crew broke one the first day on the job. Rudy told me it was an irrigation line (happens all the time according to him). After several unsuccessful attempts to fix the "irrigation line", a plumber was called hours later to fix the broken water line. All in all an extremely unpleasant experience with a happy ending -- a very nice fence.

The workscope includes framing the "window blind" using 2"x2" 14 gauge square steel tube in manner that completely blocks out any view of overlooking neighbor window from within my parcel. ACIW sent a capable crew and said they'd return with a bigger welding device. So we are now anticipating return to: A. Complete framing for copper (facing South) panels, B. Concrete and blocks set in drums as anchors require, C. Fasten copper (facing South) panels to raise fenceline 42". The image at end of day one, "Start up day," shows 3 (55 gallon steel) black drums, framing tubes in 2x2, 1x1 sizes. Return date was 16MAR25. The overall effect was suspending 30' linear feet of 42" of sheets suspended on 2" square tubed poles. My recommendation remains for ACIW cause it took two guys 1/2 a day, and too many in this metal working arena try to exploit consumers. It's true, I spoke with several from $500 to $8100 for this "little project." (TIM ROMANO) ACIW was not cheapest, but Fabian stood behind our agreement. With so many saying so different things, I can say that this outfit including Fabian & father is a solid value, hands down.

I have received computer repair services at Ready Set Repair multiple times over the last few…read moreyears. The service and experience was always great! Unfortunately, purchasing a refurbished lab top from them was a different experience. After taking my previous laptop in for service and learning it was fried, I decided to purchase a refurbished laptop from them. I figured it was safe since my previous service experiences had been positive and I had never felt like I was being ripped off. After a sleazy sales pitch, I purchased a refurbished Dell laptop for around $600. I have had refurbished computers in the past and have never had an issue with them. This Dell, however, is the worst machine I have ever had. It is, by far, the slowest computer I have ever used and it does not maintain a charge. I have to have it plugged in at all times while I am using it. Might as well be a desktop from the mid 90s. It is an extremely frustrating machine to use. Soon after losing $600 on this pile of junk, I notified Ready Set Repair of its issues via their online portal. I never received a response. I will not be going back to Ready Set Repair for services, sales, or anything else. I do not recommend them and advise anyone seeking their products or services to be wary of untrustworthy sleazy schmoozers. Gross.

Went in to just "look" for a dump trailer but we all know how that turns out. Wade offered to show…read moreus their options. We didn't need anything fancy as we are just using it for personal use, so he showed us the affordable options, didn't immediately take us to the most expensive one that was on the lot. Of course my husband wanted the fanciest one on the lot but I talked him out of it (haha). Wade gave us the prices, and we decided to just do it. The process to finance was quick and easy. The next day we came back and picked it up. Fast forward a few hours we get home and I get the bright idea to get in it and the husband can raise it so I slide down just because I can. That's when we notice half of the hydraulic fluid supposed to be in the tank was all over the inside of the box. We clean it up, let it sit for an hour or so and more had leaked out. Keep in mind this is a brand new trailer, this shouldn't be happening. Monday morning I call and speak to Sean who asked me to send pictures so they could start the warranty claim through Five Star (the manufacturer). So I did. Fast forward to the next Saturday we take the trailer to them so it can be fixed thinking they can just fix it and then handle it with Five Star afterwards. Also knowing that we would probably have to leave it there depending on what the problem was. Wade was at the counter and I told him the issue and he explained what it might have been but he would take a look at it. Jacob, one of the service guys, happened to come into the office and immediately said "I submitted the claim, we'll have to wait until they respond". I get it, but at the same time it's brand spanking new, and it's kind of ridiculous that not knowing what the issue is, we have a $7k trailer we can't even use. Wade was quick to say, "no, let's go take a look, it could be something simple and just fix it". Luckily, it appeared to just be a bad o-ring on one of the connections and Jacob fixed it there on the spot and refilled the hydraulic fluid for us. I would totally understand if it was a bad motor or something that would need to be replaced and having to do the warranty claim. Even if I was frustrated with the situation, I would understand. What this long winded review is trying to say is... I understand that there's a procedure to follow, but sometimes it's a quick fix and I appreciate Wade for pushing to at least look at it and if it's an easy fix, to fix it without having to wait for the warranty process. Because I think it would be utterly frustrating if we waited a couple weeks just to find out it was a simple o-ring. This review wouldn't have been so nice. So, thank you Wade! And thank you Jacob for just taking care of it, and fixing it on the spot! Husband is a happy camper with his new toy :)
