We were doing a backyard project. We decided to dig the dirt out a space between our garage and…read moreour pad were we park. We wanted to fill it with rock. We searched on the internet and visited a couple of locations. Rock seemed to be pricey at the places we visited. Then my husband came across Darby Landscape Supply online. They seemed to offer rocks at a much lower price. They even had hours on Sunday, which was super helpful for us, seeing that our digging took us longer than planned. We hopped in our truck yesterday and drove down to Orient. When we pulled up we were greeted the only employee working as we were getting out of our truck. She showed me one type of rock that she thought would be perfect for our project. If I am honest, I did want some larger stone, but she said that they didn't have any larger stone available currently due to all the rain. It seems that they aren't able to get down and dig the stone when everything is so wet. Because of their incredible prices and us wanting to keep our project costs to a minimum, I went ahead and agreed to the rocks she suggested. She hopped in the huge backhoe, scooped up a literal ton of rocks and then carefully dumped that in the back of our truck. She was very careful with our truck with I appreciated. After she was done we went inside and paid her. For one ton of rock we owed her $35, I would saw we won. We were pleased with Darby Landscape Supply and would not hesitate to stop by in the future for either our rock or mulch needs.

We wanted to…read moreget it removed before it got any larger since between two homes isn't a great spot for such a large tree and my coworker recommended them to me. This company was great from start to finish. They had a fair price and didn't do any damage (which was what I was most worried about). They came in and worked like a well oiled machine with a big group of workers and crane and another truck for the debris. They were done so quickly (two hours!), cleaned up after themselves, and were so communicative leading up to the day of the work. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the area looking for tree work.
