He stopped at all the important viewpoints and shared fascinating information about the history of the Grand Canyon and how it was formed. The tour was very well organized, and we never felt rushed. Corry we had the following day for the Grand Canyon and several extras as well. He was also very detailed and kept us from crowded areas to make sure we had great views for Grand Canyon! He even had a telescope too attach to his phone to show us rafters and kayakers in the waters of the Colorado. The gift shop they both took is to was absolutely great!! Lunch was spot on yet again. We did bring our water bottles that were insulated to keep water cold. The difference of heat and winds was crazy but tolerable and Corry had van open and ready when we got back! Thank you so much from the 3 of us!! Keep doing what you're doing boys!!

Our guide David met us early at Under Canvas in a comfortable van that was stocked with a fantastic variety of cold drinks, fresh fruit, and snacks that started the trip off right. It was exceptionally hot the day we scheduled our tour and we were concerned that we would have a difficult time with the heat. Our tour included our nine year old son and we were also worried he would be bored. David really made the trip enjoyable despite the heat. We were able to really get a sense of the majesty of the Grand Canyon through its wondrous beauty, its history, the danger it can present to the unprepared, as well as his relationship to the park. Highlights are many but included: * David made sure our first view of the park was breathtaking * We avoided the crowds (big win!) * Lunch was on a tablecloth, was delicious and included all the accoutrement * Sunset wine toast with charcuterie and cheese * Mindfulness moment to pause and reflect on the grandeur of the Grand Canyon The biggest highlight though was that our nine year thought David was the coolest guy which meant he was totally into the experience. We are looking forward to having All Star handle our next tour.

Learned a ton about the landscape, geology, biodiversity, and how to survive in the back country (def would not have survived on my own for a bunch of different reasons). Take note, this trip is absolutely worth the work and investment but absolutely critical you come correct (train for real). This is not for the light-hearted, mental and physical toughness required. Thanks again Jeremy and the Four Seasons team.

I was the less experienced hiker and wanted my sister to be able to enjoy the hike without worrying about me. So, I hired Four Seasons Guides for a day hike in February. We had a wonderful experience, and I can't recommend them highly enough. Our guide, Steve, was charming, knowledgeable, very experienced, and took very good care of us. We had our own packs and poles, but he had some on hand just in case. Breakfast fruit and muffins were provided as well as a hot lunch set up as a picnic and snacks for the trail. My sister was anxious to get on with the hike, and I was always stopping to look at the view or ask Steve some random question about canyon geology or history (which he always knew the answer to). Somehow, due to his expertise and great people skills, we both came away thinking we each had the perfect day. Steve took away all the worry about the weather, route, wildlife (there were elk on the trail and several donkey trains passed us) and made the hike much more fun and interesting. Also, other experienced local hikers that we met on the trail let us know that Four Seasons Guides were the best and we were in good hands. If you want a fun, worry free day I highly recommend them.

Upon arrival we had to wait a few minutes longer than start time, but it was because agent ensured we were able to tour without any other group issues! We had John T as our driver and this was one of the best tours we have had in a very long time! We laughed so hard, we literally cried. He was knowledgeable and funny and accommodating, and we would recommend this tour and John T to anyone even thinking about it. In terms of difficulty, there were moments that were a little harrowing, but we were definitely at ease with our driver. The views and experience more than make up for it though! Please do yourself a favor and utilize this company and ask for John T. Because we booked more than one tour with them, they even accommodated a deal for us on our next tour! The main attraction really is the mansion so just buy a $18 pass which gives you access to the mansion tour as well as the outside grounds (which is what the $5 pass gives you access to). As for as museum goes, the subject material isn't that interesting: it's about a random wealthy family. Imagine a 100 years into the future we have a museum about a random millionaire. Our tour guide, Marco, was fantastic and great at answering questions for our little group of 4. The mansion really is just a showcase of how a wealthy person's home from the early 1900's. You get a glimpse into their business and personal lives as well as the type of furniture employed in the household. The tour was interactive and nice. The self guided tour is just literally walking around the mansion so there isn't too much to see but it makes for a nice, short walk. Overall, I think that there are more interesting museums out there. But if you're looking for a super quiet museum to browse, this would be the place.
