Needless to say, that wouldn't work. I found Brooks Tire Company in Walhalla and the manager Jeremy said to bring the Volvo down, and I did. Don't judge a book by its cover. The station was a bit disheveled, but I found Jeremy to be very pleasant, knowledgeable and efficient. He never stopped working on other brake jobs the whole time I was there waiting for my parts to be delivered, he is part Energizer Bunny. Well, after the brake pads and rotor finally were delivered, Jeremy got them on 1,2,3. The bill was very reasonable and I plan to only use Brooks Tire when I need brake work and don't want my face ripped off as the dealer and others would have done. We were visiting a friend in town, so I called and these guys said just bring it in. It turned out just to need 2 new front tires, which were on the next morning and off we went. We were stranded on the road, not even sure where we were. I found Blacks was not too far away. When we got there, Preston didn't have the right size rim, but even though it was late in the day, Preston called all of his contacts in the local area and didn't stop until he found us the rim we needed. He changed our other tire so we wouldn't have problems with that one too! I will always be grateful to Preston for taking sure great care of us and allowing us to continue on our journey to the mountains.

I brought my quote from the dealer inside and talked to Johnny about my tire needs. He was very helpful and, in the end, ordered two tires for me to arrive the next morning. Unfortunately, the tires didn't arrive when expected, so I ended up going back later in the day. There would be a wait, so I chose to return the next day. The tires were a very reasonable price, slightly less than comparable tires at discount actually, but the service fee was obviously a bit more which i didn't mind at all, because you're paying for the convenience and it was incredibly convenient having him come to my location and do the tires instead of me having to sit in the tire shop and wait. I would definitely recommend using this service, especially if you are busy and value your time. Absolute first class service had a very reasonable price in my opinion.
