What a great find in a very small tourist town!
This cozy place seats about 14 inside a main room, as well as outdoor tables that would be pleasant in warm weather. The decor is cute with some old West themes. We had the pleasure of meeting the new owner, a young woman from Moe down the hill, who recently bought but has worked there for 3 years.
We ordered lattes which were delicious and a good balance of coffee and milk.
The highlight, however, was the most amazing burger I have tasted in a long time. It had a thin beef patty, a slice of ham, a fried egg, cheese, and tomato, onion, lettuce and beet root. The bun was brioche and buttery. It was fresh, really delicious and served hot. Wow!
If you make the trip up, definitely eat here - you won't be disappointed!
Incidentally, I think Yelp has the cafe name misspelled - should just be Walhalla Coffee.
PS, I had no Telstra mobile signal up there, FYI. read more
