I walked by a bunch of times before realizing that it was even open, because the outside looks like it might be abandoned. (There are many closed shops on nearby side streets, so it was a distinct possibility.) You can find all the essentials here, from beauty to bandaids and snack foods. The store is clean and not empty but sort of low on stock. Basically, nothing remarkable. If you are in this part of the city and need something in a pinch, Walgreens might be your only option.

Managers are really, really, really good…read more Pharmacy is really, really, really horrible. They will give partial prescription fills so they can charge you twice for your copay when the copay would be the same for one partial or the whole prescription. They will not inform you of this and it is only marked on the paper about 10% of the time. This Walgreens will also REGULARLY loose prescriptions that are wired from the doctor's office so you have to return to the office to get them again. I have had them lose the paper prescriptions, but when you complain to a manager, they miraculously find them. They do NOT inform you of insurance issues until you are ready to pick your prescription up (even when you wait 2 hours after telling them you'll wait. You have to go up there to find out what is wrong because they will not inform you there is a problem). Once had my Rewards card transferred to a new number, and found out it was never transferred so the prior owner of the number was getting my points and using them. Also, the Family Dollar down Shopping Center has many of the same OTC medications for a fraction of the cost from the same lots!

Rite Aid has some good weekly specials and some rebate items, but prices are generally about average for drugstores. The aisle arrangement in this store, a mix of diagonals and parallels, is a bit weird. However, the store interior is fairly spacious and brightly lit so it's not hard to find your way around. Customer service and checkout accuracy was okay, as far as I can tell. The is a restroom at the back of the store for customers but you have to ask an employee to unlock it.

They closed the store early and wouldn't let in customers during store hours. A girl waiting…read moreoutside with us said she'd been there for 15 minutes waiting to get her PREPAID ITEM, since 9:40, while the door was locked and there was at least one customer inside. The staff ignored us until 9:55, at which point they said "sorry, we closed at 10." When we pointed out it was not yet 10, the staff said they have "problems closing the store at night" and refused to even retrieve the prepaid item for the girl waiting with us. If you'd like to close the store 20 to 30 minutes early, I would recommend changing your listed hours.

Ordered Holiday cards from the photo department. Picked up my order and began addressing them when…read moreI realized two things: 1. I was not given the amount of cards that I paid for & 2. A handful of the cards were smudged/ ruined. I called the store that same night of pick up and they approved a reprint of 10 cards. Went the next day to pick the reprints up and the woman behind the counter was helping another patron, which was fine! But I found it interesting that she completely ignored me for 10 minutes. When it was my turn to approach the counter she had an attitude before I even said hello. When I told her I was there to pick up an order she began getting nasty with me, telling me that she was the one that originally printed my order and that she did not miss or mess anything up. That she wasn't going to reprint my order until she fulfilled the others she had...even though my reprint was ALREADY printed and to the side. She angrily handed me the 10 cards when I explained that the print was already completed the night before. This isn't the first time I have had to deal with ignorant BS with this location when I have been nothing but calm and nice; but this interaction has officially made me lose hope in this store. I won't be returning.

High prices, crowded stores, busy layouts…read more This is a relatively small store that has the core essentials, including a pharmacy with friendly staff. Some things that I like: this CVS shares a parking lot area with Wawa, making it convenient to pickup gas or snacks in a single trip. Also there is a one-hour photo printing service here. The print quality is mediocre--muddy colors and not crisp--but it's great in a pinch. I needed some photos to put on magnets to visit relatives, and this was very clutch to order them from my phone and pickup at CVS within the hour. That is the primary draw to this store for me.
