This Walgreens pharmacy has the worst pharmacist customer service staff.
They continuously ask if I would like medication refills to change from monthly to 90 day supply, which I prefer so I don't have to make multiple trips each month.
But 90% of the time I go to pick up script they have 30 day supply ready and ask if I would like 90 day supply?
YCFS!
I requested a refill two weeks ago for 3 month supply, which they have filled and was insurance approved numerous times in the past. The pharmacy staff said script refill was too soon come back on the 7th.
I called and pharmacy said 30 day was ready on a Saturday but the 90 day supply needed to be approved and arranged by the management or supervisor so call back Monday?
The pharmacy had several weeks to process 90 day supply of medication and get supervisor approval or whatever they supposedly needed.
They knew 2 weeks ago that I was waiting on 90 day supply which they have filled numerous times and offered the 90 day option supply after calling, texting me my prescription was ready to be picked up.
Low and behold they have 30 day supply and said oh. I didn't know that you wanted 90 day supply.
They said that they didn't have enough in supply so I had to wait.
If I get prescriptions filled either monthly or 90 days they know or should know that x amount of pills need to be ordered and be I stock.
The pharmacy staff hang up on you after speaking with them, no thanks, have a good day, or whatever.
Very unprofessional, rude, and I can see why the GPA to become a pharmacist is so low and Walgreens hires the worst of the worst.
There is a reason why this Walgreens has low 2.0 approval ratings and it reflect the 2.0 GPA minimum to become pharmacist.
If the GPA was higher, Walgreens wouldn't have any pharmacy staff. read more
