Talked to the owner twice leading up about the exact procedure we would do for my particularly curly hair. Called to confirm day before. No call back. Called morning of. No call back. Took an hour to get there, closed sign on the door. A customer let's me in and says she's been waiting too. Five minutes later, the same esthetician who I presume Natalie below talked to asks if I have an appt, I say yes, and the first thing out of her mouth is "well I don't think you should stay because she's probably not coming in." I'm thinking: Who is "she"? Isn't this a business? Am I being punked? Well "she" is the OWNER who apparently hasn't called or texted or paid her employee in more than a week. Her employee sees me on the schedule but has no way of getting in touch with the owner and just says "I don't know what to tell you" repeatedly and shows me her failed to be received text messages to her boss. Meanwhile a third customer comes in, poor girl is leaving the country next day so has no alternative, but gets the cold shoulder too. I'm asked to leave because the employee is there alone and needs to lock up behind me even though their hours say open. So just standing in the cold in a dodgy part of town with raggy hair.

When I made the appointment, I asked if she was experienced with ethnic hair. I was told yes, she was trained in textured hair. Once at the salon, daughter in the chair, I asked KellyAnn how much experience she has with this type of hair while holding my daughter's long hair. She looked at me and said "I am VERY experienced." I thought great and continued to discuss what we were looking for in a haircut. I wanted her ends cut off (cut was to go from middle of the back to middle of the shoulder blades). The horror begins...I am waiting in the sitting area for 2.5 HOURS! Remember, IT"S ONLY A CUT/TRIM!!! I finally take peek and notice my daughter under the dryer with 2-strand twists. (KellyAnn was trying to make her curls come in.) Once done, my daughter comes from around the corner, hair is now shoulder length. My initial thought was "okay, shorter than we discussed" I was not impressed. I asked if layers were put in because I could see different lengths. Couldn't really gauge the cut because the 2-strand twists made everything lay different. Once home and daughters hair washed I could truly see the cut, her hair was completely JACKED up!!! OMG!! HORRENDOUS! I sent an email and the owner responded with an apology and he told me he would look into it the next day and get back to me. That was 4 days ago and I still haven't heard back. I even sent a second email requesting a refund for the srvice...no response. I had a great experience with one of their stylists on my curly hair, Tennille. But, I would not recommend KellyAnn for "textured hair". My daughter's hair looks like an overgrown mullet. Her hair has 2 distinct levels opposed layers. The salon owner apologized but without following up on his initial email, I have determined that customer satisfaction is not his priority being he has not resolved this complaint. I requested a refund for service and tip $44.85 ...crickets. I would not recommend this salon based on my experience there. Normally, an office will call once either a doctor sent necessary information over--or when a reply has been received from insurance--letting the customer know next steps. The place doesn't. My parents and I have been left in the dark because they do not call to follow up unless it's for a basic appointment. Even then, it's automated! Front staff needs to be trained to make outbound call to clients on these important issues.

They have a sorting lot and lots of parking. Customer Service: The staff I've interacted with so far have always been friendly. Keep up the great work! Merchandise: This Walgreens location has a wide range of products. You can find things from makeup to medicine. They also have sales from time to time. I highly recommend creating an account with them as it is free and earn points to get discounts on future purchases. To get the deals, you need to look out for prices with the yellow price tag, especially the ones that say "Walgreens Cash rewards." The way it works is you either buy a certain quantity or spend a certain amount on select items to get the Walgreens Cash rewards deals. This is ridiculous especially after you have come from the hospital or emergency room. And really don't feel like waiting 30 min. It be 4 or 5 people working in pharmacy. They can alternate the break time. It shouldn't be shut down completely for a meal break. RIDICULOUS!!! And on top of that there is never no baskets. The floors is always dirty. It really needs the inspectors to come tak a look.
