Not sure what changed but prior to the last month this store was actually getting better, cleaner, actually had what my wife and I needed and now the last month is has DEFINITELY gone backwards. Had to go 3 days in a row to get my prescriptions right and the exact same bag of trash was sitting next to the front doors for 3 days. Seriously your employees don't pick up the parking lot? Shelves are back to being a mess. WHAT HAPPENED? Couldn't get anyone to do our passport photos so we left and went down the road to Gurnee. Got our photos done, store was clean and organized. Went to leave and I think she was a female manager and a guy in a suit. Probably her DM were up front talking and I said as we were leaving, have a nice day, female manager said thanks you to. The guy didn't even look up and say a word. I worked in retail for 38 years and I was a Divisional that covered 508 stores and now retired. I ALWAYS lead by example and our customers were always important to greet entering and exiting. Not sure what is going on but I think you have lost two customers. read more

Constant delays and issues with stocking medications. Do not use Walgreens for anything important. After a morning of phone calls to get my post-surgery pain medication, they said they could only partially fill it. I showed up hours later and they had no records of it and it's deleted off my Walgreens app. Then I'm told it's another 3 hours because they "just received it". I essentially had to go sit in pain all day because I chose Walgreens, then they said it was my fault. read more

I don't know why this pharmacy is still open. They can't get prescription right and when you call you constantly being put on hold very unprofessional. They say they open at 8 buts it's really 11 and they take a break right after opening. Who is hiring these people? read more

The service at the pharmacy has taken a noticeable and significant nosedive in quality over the last few months. I just left Walgreens after my fifth (5th) attempt over the course of the last two weeks to PICK UP a refill of a medication I have been taking for YEARS. Not even a new rx, not a new dose. First time, they didn't have it. Second time, they had it but never bothered to run it through my insurance, so it was vastly overpriced. Third time, they actually didn't have it the whole time but told me they did. Fourth time, they were on a meal break, which is at a different time on a Saturday than it is on a weekday?? And why is a fully staffed pharmacy incapable of staggering lunch breaks? You have ten pharmacy techs wandering around and not a single one can dispense already-filled refills? Each of these times when I went in to try to get this med, I'd stand in line and watch 1 person tirelessly assisting customers while everyone else just wandered around aimlessly, some staring at their phones, cars in the drive-thru, no one attending them. Today, I attempted the drive thru again, made sure it wasn't during their stupid meal break, and I sat for 20 full minutes behind another car that wasn't even being attended. At no point did anyone speak to the car in front of me through the microphone or extend the drawer. After 20 minutes, I saw a woman come and take down a sign from the pharmacy window, at 1:50pm on a weekday. What was the sign? Did we just take an extra meal break for fun? I finally started calling the pharmacy to try to speak to someone, which is usually about a 15-20min hold time, managed to get through to someone in about 10min who had no idea what was going on with the drive-thru, said somebody "should be working it". What is going on with Walgreens?! Where is the accountability?! It's been two weeks and I am now completely out of my medication! You guys suck! read more

The pharmacy is a a hot mess. I am going to quit going there. Service used to be good. Now service SUCKS. Rude folks at the pharmacy. Do not know what's. I had to go back 5 times for one prescription. I will switch to CVS soon. read more

Tell me how I get to the drive up Covid testing 5 mins early as the confirmation email reiterated and made clear to do for the Covid testing and the girl at the window asks for my ID and confirmation code twice to come back and tell me that they are still doing my paperwork that I have to get in the back of the line. What's the point of having an appointment if they are not prepared or self disciplined to get it together before the patient arrives?!? I have an appointment at a time that works for me FOR A REASON. Not to be dragged along and have to go to the back because they are not put together. read more

Horrible customer service, literally spend 45 mins on hold waiting for a pharmacist to answer my call, only for the manager to tell me that they are about to close and they can't help me! You would think she would try to hear me out but apparently they can't even do that! read more

On my life, I just visited this Walgreens and any Walgreens for the last time ever. This is a chain I've supported and preferred for the last 9-10 years. I've always had my prescriptions with them, always used them for quick shopping on the go.. But Covid has killed any semblance of customer service Walgreens ever had. The wait times and lack of staffing are simply unacceptable. Today, I tried to get my prescription by going inside, since I'm averaging 45-55min to get through their drive-thru. After 22 minutes in line inside the pharmacy, I called up my doctor and asked him to switch my prescriptions to CVS. He sent the prescriptions and CVS received them before I even moved two spots forward in the Walgreens line. Worse than just holding my medication hostage, I'm forced to call Walgreens for work (healthcare) on a near daily basis. This morning, I wasted a half hour of my life calling this pharmacy, choosing the doctor line, and being repeatedly put on hold and then hung up on without anyone saying a word. This has been going on for months. I have reached out to in-store managers asking for their staff to please simply answer the phone, nothing. I've reached out to Walgreens on social media, nothing. I've filled out the customer service form on their website MULTIPLE times stating that as both a customer and a healthcare provider, their service is simply unacceptable. ZERO response. I'm so unbelievably fed up after so much time playing Walgreens' games. Seriously done. Clearly these reviews mean nothing to them, but I will speak with my wallet and encourage my patients to do the same. read more

Just had an awful experience with whoever was there this morning 8/18/19 at 730am. I believe she calls herself to be a manager but she doesn't even wear a name tag so that you don't get her name whenever she feels like being nasty to the customers. She is probably 5'6 and has blonde curly hair. I was purchasing some laundry soap and there was a big yellow sign that the soap was $1.98 and when I was ready to purchase she was at the register and told me she forgot to take the sign down and that the soap wasn't on sale. As a customer I should receive the price I see. It wasn't my fault that she forgot to take the sale sign down. She refused to give me the discounted price and also told me that she wasn't going to sale me anything, threatening me and told me that she was going to call the police on me. I was with my son who after this encounter was scare to death of this lady and started crying when she said she was going to call the police on us and we didn't do anything to her. I simply asked if she was able to give me the discount simply because the sign was up and it clearly said that the soap was $1.98. I am not done here I am also taking this complaint to Walgreens Corporation!!!! One thing I know is that I would never go there again. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more

This is my joint! The closest 24 hour Walgreens to my house. 'Nuff said. I subtract two stars for three reasons: (1) Every time I go, America's "A Horse With No Name" comes on the in-store radio. (2) Whoever designed the parking lot must be missing their corpus callosum. (3) Last time I was there a ratty girl hustled by me to a tester of knockoff Jennifer Lopez Glow, liberally applied the funky marinade, and, as I was walking to my car, pleaded with a strange man to give her a ride to Belvidere and Lewis. Maybe I'm being too sensitive but why didn't she ask me for a ride? read more

This particular Walgreen's staff saved my life. Literally. I am taking medication every day. I am extremely sensitive to inactive ingredients in my medicine. There's not many people that have an issue of this kind. I do. My prescription was manufactured by company name Teva. It was working great until Teva stopped making it. I got substitute for it. That's how my nightmare began. Making long story short, I am extremely greatful for the pharmacist and entire staff of this Walgreens location -Kelly, Ryan, Charles just to name few. They went out of their way to get my prescription made by Teva. They were always kind and patient. I guess what I'm trying to say is, when you're in the long line waiting impatiently for your turn just know that there's reason for it. I've seen them struggling, being extremely busy and short staff. No one on their team is mean. I am saying this because I read some reviews on here. They are simply overloaded. Their computers suck as well as the automated phone refill system. That's a fact. It's not the fault of the people working there! It's easy to complain and assume. Next time, please just try to understand. You are not the only one in need of medication. read more

Only 1 pharmacy technician operating the drive thru and customers inside the store. He called support from another employee and I saw a lady walk by and just ignore, nobody came. The pharmacist looked extremely upset and was not talking well with the technician or an older lady who came to ask her about an items location. Usually good place but lately have seen it also go down the hill line other Walgreens. read more
