Drive through is always slow. Pharmacy employees almost never welcome you. Sometimes you will sit for a full five minutes before anyone even acknowledges you are their. This review is for the Walgreen's pharmacy in Three Rivers and not for the store itself. I've been a Walgreen's Pharmacy customer at this store for nearly 8 years now. I recently took a prescription to them on December 5th, and was informed that the pharmacy could not fill the prescription completely due to supply issues and instead gave me a 5-day supply with assurances that the rest of the script would arrive in 1-2 days. Given that I was leaving town and would not be back until the following week, I told them I would pick up the other 170 tablets of the medication when I got back to Three Rivers. Fast forward one week, to December 12th, when I returned to Walgreen's pharmacy in Three Rivers to pick up the rest of my medication and was told that the pharmacy had no record of my prescription and that I must be mistaken. After showing them the empty bottle with the prescription information right on the label, I was informed very rudely that they could not fill the rest of the script and the pharmacist told me that they didn't know WHEN or IF they would ever have that medication back in stock again. When I asked the pharmacist for the script back, so that I could get it filled at another pharmacy, I was told that since they filled 5% of the script that it wasn't transferable and that I'd have to go BACK to my doctor to get another prescription. When I complained that Walgreen's Pharmacy should have NEVER accepted the script if they had no intentions or capability of filling the entire prescription, I was told to leave the store by the pharmacist. I did no such thing and filed a complaint with the assistant manager of the store. I'm at this time I'm waiting for a response from the assistant manager who was on duty at the time when this scene went down. She promised me that she would speak to the store manager to see if there is any resolution to this hideous scenario . Evidently the head pharmacist is on leave and each individual pharmacist is left to manage for themselves, which is working quite miserably as you can read from my review. Regardless, if I'm forced to go back to my physician to get another script, Walgreen's will lose all my future business, and I will make sure to share this hideous lack of professionalism with the rest of the community too. I will respond back to this post when and if I'm contacted by Walgreen's management team with resolution or not. read more
