I've been getting my prescriptions at this pharmacy for 7 years now and nothing has changed. If anything gotten worse! I've been trying to get my refill on my prescriptions for three days now and I keep getting the run around. I try to call right when they open to get status and they refuse to answer! PHARMACIST REFUSED TO FILL MY RX - Because I haven't filled my rx at this location since March (3 months) I'm considered a new patient and the pharmacist isn't accepting new patients bc of medication shortage... Never ever have I had this issue at other locations. AND I received a confirmation text & VM that my rx was ready for pickup. Had I known it was being refused I would have come earlier so I could take it to another location timely. This is second large issue I've had with this same pharmacist. Speculating this is why she didn't accept me as a "new patient". Poor service has again delayed my refill. read more

I came here just to get my 2nd booster shot before my trip to Berlin on Thursday. I take public transportation. I took the one to the university center and walked about a block and half to get here. It took about 45 mins, at the pharmacy. It was a busy time for them. Staff was friendly. Looking forward for my prescriptions to be transferred here. read more

I have been trying for 5 days to get a simple prescription filled. For 3 days I went back and forth trying to get them to answer the phone. They continually would hang up on me. When I arrived on location I found out I was not the only customer being hung up on repeatedly and saw the volume of customers at the location was not impressive enough to warrant such behavior. After finally talking to the pharmacist I was told my prescription would be ready at 7pm. The next day when I go to pick it up, it is still not ready and they make me move out of the way to wait while they serve other customers. I'm so mortified I will never come here again. Last week I came here to get condoms for me and my boyfriend. It's all I needed. When I went to check out instead of quietly checking me out as he should've, the man holds my condoms up examining them as if he didn't know what they were. Then he proceeds to laugh and say "There's a hurricane and THIS is what you're worried about?" I tried to laugh even though I was insanely uncomfortable. He's like "hey what else is there to do? have fun with that." and just kept referencing the fact that I was buying condoms as if it's the craziest thing in the world to practice safe sex. Like to call out a sensitive purchase like that--when it's already fairly taboo for women to buy condoms--was so embarrassing I'll now be driving down to the CVS. read more

the pharmacy is incredibly slow and takes forever to answer the phone AND the pharmacist was extremely rude on the phone. I've waited on hold for ages and when the pharmacist did answer she was rude and not helpful at all. Even when I go in person the pharmacy is ridiculously slow. When the quality is so low, I can't help but try to deter anyone else from coming to these places. Walgreens in the Tampa area are already subpar to begin with but this Walgreens is the absolute worse. The store is only ran by 2 employees at any given time and not only that, they're always walking around doing nothing. Leaving behind customers in line trying to checkout and ignoring people trying to get into locked items. They are some of the worse employees to ever run a "convenience" store. This happened last week as well. Last week I was on line for at least 45 min. This issue was not happening before. Not sure if it is with new staff. They seem to be very understaffed. The employees are frantic and rarely answer the phone, they just keep putting you on hold. I needed insulin refiled and they had none and offered no guidance on when they might get some. On the third day I gave up and went to another pharmacy. Walgreens on Henderson had the feeling of a impoverished third world country. Venezuela came to mind. read more

THIS WALGREENS IS SO BEAUTIFUL! THE PEOPLE ARE SO NICE! 15% USF DISCOUNT ON TUESDAYS! (OK, enough yelling) We already know what Walgreen's is and what the strengths and weaknesses are (see my ridiculously long last review of Temple Terrace one) - I would give this particular store five stars except they were out of a lot of makeup and didn't even carry most shades in my color (the lightest usually). Maybe they just needed to restock. I also wanted a banana after my workout, and I have actually seen them at certain stores, unfortunately not at this one. I settled with a protein shake. (It sounds weird, but you can't usually find ripe bananas at Publix, so if you want a ripe banana AT THIS VERY MOMENT, where to go? Surprisingly, 7-11 and Walgreens.) The store is just beautiful though, and they greet you at the door like they care that you are there. Good business practice!! So, go here, and USF students bring your IDs and get your discounts on Tuesdays. read more

Open 24/7, the store AND pharmacy, which was very hard to find in this area if Tampa, a lot of places are the store only, not pharmacy. The front cashiers are always welcoming and I can always find someone to help me find something. I switched to this pharmacy after the Walgreens closer to me, after telling me my medicine was unavailable and I'd have to switch to a different generic, And I asked them if they could check if another Walgreens nearby had it, and they pretty much told me I could do that and then let THEM know. Like what? So after calling this pharmacy in the middle of the night, the very friendly pharmacist told me it would be ready in 30minutes! Then I've had another awesome experience with a pharmacist here, after he told me they didn't have my medicine in stock or within a 10mile radius, he could order the generic version for me. I asked him if he could by any chance increase the search to a larger radius as I'd be willing to travel to avoid another brand. He called me back quickly, letting me know another Walgreens had it in stock and it'd be ready in 30mins! Awesome service here, and I've been to my share of pharmacies, not many are willing to go the extra mile and make sure client's are accommodated and happy. Thank you so much! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Every time I come to the Walgreens there is an issue. This Walgreens is a green dot location and they always give me an issue when I want to upload money onto my prepaid debit card. The manager on duty, Glenda Bruno, was very uninformed on how her system works & refused to help me & her fellow associate who was the only person who tried to help me. She literally said "the system is not working, I can't help you" and walked away from me. read more

The associate at the front register, Tatyana, was genuinely friendly and helpful. She seemed like she enjoyed her job and was happy to be there. Also, the store was clean and there's a good amount of parking. Sometimes there were homeless people loitering there in the past but there haven't been any lately. read more

I did not like that the pharmacist lied about the medicine being discontinued. My doctor told me that it was not. Just wasted my time .. for 2 days my son has to wait for his medication because they told me that they will order it; but they told to my face that it was discontinued. this is the prettiest walgreens i have ever been in. it's brand new and everything is so shiny, pretty, and clean. and i noticed a candy that i haven't seen before in other stores - lucas salsagheti. this is really good candy! it's gummy watermelon strings covered in salt and spices and you add tamarind sauce. it's tangy and sweet. i'll be at this walgreens often to admire it and eat my lucas candy. read more
