I have to say I had a wonderful visit at the Walgreens in Five Forks! Check this out! An employee noticed I was in search of something so she politely asked me if she could help me. I told her I was looking for a particular face cream for my wife. I showed her a pic from my phone and she informed me I was in the wrong area and then she actually took me to the location of the product I was looking for! I find Elisabeth in the pharmacy rude and uninterested in helping customers. When I presented a coupon for my medication she told me none of the coupons worked and it didn't matter if it was new. I told her just give it a try. It worked. The pharmaceutical companies are making new coupons after the cyber attack. Why doesn't Walgreens know this? I mentioned why this one worked and they might want to share with their customers. Her reply was that she doesn't know anyone on this. I know of 2 and I don't work in a pharmacy. She was just as rude and unhelpful 2 weeks ago picking up another when I was overcharged. When I left today, she pulled out her name tag to show me her name, so I thought I may as well use it! read more

I just got off the phone with the pharmacy and they were very rude. There was an issue with my insurance and they will only pay for half, which I'm fine with. The lady was snapping at me and said I will have to call every month our system can't do that. Might be true but she was a total bitch about the situation. Unfortunately my insurance doesn't use any other pharmacy and this is my closest option. Currently sitting in the drive through (No one else in line) and no one has acknowledged my existence. There are always plenty of people working but they won't acknowledge you until they are ready. A simple, "welcome to Walgreens, we're pretty busy at the moment and will get to you right away" would work WONDERS! This is my third time here and every time it's the same. I went straight from the urgent care to Walgreens to get my Tamiflu prescription because I have, you know, THE FLU!! I had to wait over an hour to get my script filled. There I was, shivering and coughing for an hour while they filled my prescription. Absolutely horrible service. read more

My husband and I both need a shingles shot. I went on line for this Walgreens on Woodruff Road and made an appointment for both of us at 11 and 11:10am. I downloaded the form it said we needed to bring and filled out one for each of us. I also printed out the appointment confirmations that was sent to my email. We had our insurance card and a list of all immunizations that we have had. I had everything organized in a file folder. I thought with all this done we should be able to get the shots fairly quickly. We arrived at the pharmacy and told the lady what we needed and that we had appointments. She looked at me like I had lost my mind and said you can make appointments? -- I didn't know you could make appointments. Then took one look at the form I had downloaded and said that's the wrong form. I said ok how long will it take to do everything we need to get the shots. She said well, we would have to fill out the right form and then they would need to fill out another form and then have them entered and scanned into their system. And there was only 2 people working in the pharmacy -- waiting on customers and the drive thru as well. We said no thank you and left. So Walgreens Immunizations Services and Schedule Vaccine is a joke. DO NOT TRY TO GET YOUR IMMUNIZATIONS AT WALGREEN, their employees don't even know anything about it. We got nothing for all the time we spent trying to do everything right, not even an apology. read more

This Walgreens is horrible. I will NEVER shop there again and would recommend no one else does either. I went to get meds filled at the pharmacy for my child (bc of her pneumonia). When I paid for them, $136.40, their register froze and they moved me to another register. I used my phone to check my bank account before I ran my card again and saw that in fact the transaction did go through and showed them that the exact amount was debited from my acct. from Walgreens. They asked me to wait while they figured out what to do...after over an hour they asked me to leave the meds to see if the transaction would clear up over night. I said, "uh no, these meds are for my child's pneumonia...I am not waiting a day to give them to her." They wouldn't let me leave with the meds unless I paid for them a second time. So I said...if I pay for these a second time and it shows on my bank as a second charge tomorrow you will refund my money...they said of course. Sure enough, they charged me twice and they refused to refund my money unless I brought them a hard copy bank stmt to prove it and treated me as if I was trying to take something from them. I was not going to bring a hard copy of my bank details to a perfect stranger. I now have to dispute the charge with my bank and I am inconvenienced bc of their lack of competence and customer service. The only thief in this situation is Walgreens!!!! read more
