Well, we thought about over lunch and just decided to just purchase a chair. Terri showed us the options and let us just try out the chairs on our own time. We never felt rushed. It was obviously more than we originally thought of doing, but we are sure we won't regret it in the future. The only thing that didn't make us happy, and why this isn't four stars, was the price tag. We picked the chair we liked best & thought the price was what was on the tag. There were options below the big price, like heat & massage, which were things that could be added to the base. Oh, but the material that the chair used was on that list (which we didn't realize because it was not a common name). It was not in the large number on the price tag and added $900 to the price. We didn't know this until we were checking out. We do not blame Terri for this, but the company that thought this was a good idea. The tag should have had the final price, before taxes & delivery not the base price if you could buy it off of the floor like we did.

The store has large selection medical supplies ( cushions, compression stockings). They also have bandages, vitamins, and other over the counter medicine. This store is average sized; however it has small section for everything. It's organized and clean. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The store also carries its own generic brand and brand name. The store opens 7 days per week. Monday to Friday: 9 am to 8pm Saturday & Sunday: 9 am to 4 pm. I definitely recommend if someone is looking for medical supplies.

Meanwhile, Chicagoland's air quality has been hazardous due to the Canadian wildfires, and I was actively struggling to breathe. When I finally got a text saying my prescriptions were ready -- like some kind of gift from above -- I went in and they had lost my inhaler. I was in the middle of the worst asthma attack of my life, terrified, and asked if they could issue a replacement. They said no, they had to find the lost one first. I left, panicked and gasping, and went straight to the ER. Today, my doctor canceled the inhaler script at Walgreens and sent it to Jewel-Osco instead. She even tried to call Walgreens to rip into them -- they didn't answer the phone. Jewel had everything filled in 20 minutes. Then I go back to Walgreens to get the nebulizer solution and -- guess what? They hand me ANOTHER inhaler. I told them it was canceled. Their reply? "Oh! We didn't notice. Now we have to find your nebulizer solution. We don't know where it is." I'm done. I will never, ever use Walgreens Pharmacy again. Their incompetence isn't just frustrating -- it's dangerous. This isn't messing up an order at a drive-thru -- this is life-saving medication. They shouldn't be trusted with anything more important than greeting people at a Walmart entrance. From now on, I'll tell this story to anyone who will listen. Walgreens should be ashamed, and honestly, shut down. I hope they go bankrupt. Jewel-Osco, on the other hand? Harrison was the pharmacy tech who helped me today, and even though he could not fully resolve the issue, he went above and beyond trying to help. He called Walgreens corporate, contacted my insurance company, paid attention to every detail, and maintained professionalism and care the entire time. You can tell he truly cares about his work and helping people, which is rare these days. Walgreens on the other hand really needs to improve their systems when it comes to dealing with secondary insurance because the system failed and never allowed my second insurance to pay the co-pay even though my insurance company stated it was approved. Harrison did everything he possibly could to help and represented the pharmacy extremely well.

Gates were closed, yet some lady was behind the counter. I gave the benefit of the doubt when i politely asked if and what time they would reopen, or if they were closed. the red signs on the wall in front of where i was standing (from the angle I was at) shows open from 8am-8pm most days. It was 12:40. I did NOT see the monitor to the left that shows they are closed from 12:30-1pm. honest mistake on my part, but to completely ignore someone genuinely asking a question... looking in my direction at me, and NOT respond at all, is beyond rude. some folks would slap this little girl for that, but Im not on that type of time. My point is, What if i someone was illiterate, and could not read? What if someone genuinely does not see a monitor that's positioned off from the direction of the pharmacy gate, such as myself? I stepped out of my character...being self effacing, I did call her out her name for not being able to easily respond or even point in the direction of the sign (which again, i did not see until going back to the gate after asking the register lady if this zara chick is deaf.
