I've had nothing but problems since I switched to this location. My prescription was supposed to be ready 2 weeks ago. When I went to pick it up they only had 10/90 tablets in stock and told me to come back later that week for the rest. My account kept showing the prescription pending for over a week then it just fell off my account entirely. I called them to ask what happened and they weren't sure. They told me at 9am they had 60 more tablets in stock and I could pick it up today. I go to pick it up later that afternoon and they didn't know what I was talking about at first, then said "oh well get started on it now come back in 15-20 minutes." 20 mins to put some pills in a bottle? Get real. If a med is prescribed it shouldn't take 2 weeks to get the med filled. I still don't have the full amount that was prescribed. Absolute joke. read more

Nothing, I called the fill prescription Friday said it would be ready by Monday at 10 o'clock. I called at 3:30. They said they didn't have anything I said is this the number for the pharmacy here she said yes so I said where is my prescription she said I'll have to order for you be one be Wednesday at after 10 o'clock and I asked him I why that we're gonna be ready by Wednesday they said there was no order and they had to re-order it and I asked my son is this the Walgreens direct phone number and they said yes and I'm like OK. What is the problem when I didn't get any answers they hung up on me so I went to the store and are making excuses. Oh it didn't come here and went to our call center, which I think it did not and the manager really didn't help me at all which I was a little perturbed at that which I threw the F bomb and he said let's not go there and I said I'm not going anywhere so his answer was maybe maybe we can cancel your order and you can go somewhere else and that's what I'm going to do. I'm gonna go back to Walmart customer service here is really bad. I do not recommend Walgreens in Church Street in Sandwich, Illinois. read more

Today, Alan, Pharmacy Tech was incredibly helpful. More helpful than a Pharmacy Tech ever has been as far as I'm concerned. He helped navigate an insurance issue and found a solution that I am incredibly grateful for. If anyone from Walgreens sees this, please give him the recognition he deserves. read more

review of telephone system. I just called a Sandwich Illinois store at 1-815-786-8653 I got some switch board system in Texas. If this a new and improve system for my part it sucks. The person I got was no help at all on information the Sandwich drug store would know about a prescription my doctor sent them. They are so reliably inept it's comical. Every single time I have a prescription sent here it's always either marked as the wrong thing, or delayed, or their records mismatch with the website, and a few times ive even been given incomplete orders. Then they mark it as complete which screws everything up. Complete joke, i should be the one getting paid for the stress their ineptitude has caused me. read more

Waited for the guy to tell me this to tell me wrong Sunday expected me to drive around again and wait 15 minutes for my prescription. This is not how you run a business. Slow pharmacy, poor customer service skills. Let a prescription sit for two days because was concerned I wouldn't be able to pay since insurance didn't cover a $40 charge. Wouldn't even answer questions unless I would answer im whether or not I could pay cash... they have my credit card on file so...they must have really needed that $40 in cash! I've been filling maintenance scripts here for a year - with copays that have never been an issue. read more

I was misled on how long my prescription was going to take and then I called and first spoke to a call center and they put me through to the store originally it was going to take an hour this gentleman on the phone from the store told me it would take 15 minutes I'm still sitting here in the parking lot and it's going to take the full damn hour also when I call the call center back they told me to go to the drive up or into the store and they could see what they can do about getting it done faster wow the charming lady and the drive-up said that wasn't true it doesn't mean you can get it any quicker well it was your call center that said that you're dealing with sick people here you might want to tell them the truthyou used to be the only game in town here but the CVS while it's a little bit further away doesn't pull crap like this read more

We came here because my Dad needed some items that he thought he couldn't get at WalMart. Sure, peanuts were on sale for $2 but the eyeglasses he wanted were $20. We went to Walmart and found the same pair for $5.88. We had to return to Walgreens and return the $20 pair. I bought a pair of sunglasses and so far so good. (My previous pair broke, so here's hoping the $9 pair will last.) Overall, it's a Walgreens. There wasn't anything different about it compared to the other Walgreens I've been to. The parking lot is large, there are two lanes for dropping off or picking up prescriptions, and it's located in an easy spot to get in and out of. I'm sure I'll be back. read more

They pretend to care but they don't by their actions. By far the worst Walgreens I've had to deal with. They run out of stock on your pills almost every month so you have to wait for them. I had a flight to catch I needed my pills one day early which I would never have to if they weren't out of stock last month. That set me back a day and I had a vacation planned for six months and I could not get on my plane so I lost $400 and I will be spending Thanksgiving by myself because of them read more

Just switched over to the pharmacy from Walmart. Store staff are friendly and helpful. Pharmacy staff quick to notify you by phone if there's a problem, something I never got from Walmart. read more

I picked up my order today, and the girl at the counter seemed more worried about talking to her coworker and completely ignoring me at the counter. told me to wait a minute, then went in a room and left me waiting at the counter for over ten minutes. Another woman asked me if I was being helped, I said yes and continued to patiently wait. After waiting and waiting, that same woman just came to help me instead.I forgot my phone, and had to run to my vehicle to grab it so I could double check the # on the order.I come back inside to find the employee that essentially blew me off and went and hid, was back and didn't acknowledge me at all. Instead was laughing and whispering to the other girl at the counter while the person who was willing to help me rang me up. I don't know what her problem is with me, but this is the second time I've been treated like this.the first time I dealt with her was last week, I was walking up she actually looked at me coming to the counter with my child and Actually said aloud "oh I'm not dealing with that" to the girl standing next to her behind the counter. now I've never dealt with this person in my entire life, and couldn't understand why she said she didn't want to wait on me. So I waited for the third employee who was busy with someone else before she was able to help me while she was doing nothing and stood laughing and whispering to the other girl she was working with, totally ignoring that I existed. I am actually more upset about the fact that ive never even had a chance to Have said or done anything to this person that could've warranted her behavior towards me. I've never felt so UNFAIRLY and rudely treated by an employee at a business in my whole life. I am a human being just like everyone else, and always polite to people regardless of who they are, how they look, or anything. Let alone basically refuse to wait on them. I just wanted to pick up my pictures and pay for them. I never complain or have been rude. Don't know whether or not to confront her on the matter directly or just go somewhere else from now on. read more
