I'm only reviewing the Pharmacy Management. They filled a prescription I no longer take, and that has been replaced by something else. I picked iup the wrong RX and did not realize it because I thought it was my new Rx A few days later, the correct RX was filled. When I went back to get the right prescription they wouldn't return the wrong prescription that actually gave me anemia! So I would say they're trying to kill me or anyone else that fills their medications there. I tried to return it back to them ASAP. Since I was out of town for a few days, they claimed the transaction was out of the "que", returning medicine not policy. Not like the bag was even opened. This problem could have easily & simply been resolved with better service. Especially, since they have improved the wait time to a human acceptable level. read more

Then we ask if they know if f other Pharmacies have it and sometimes they won't even look it up. When ask if they could call the other pharmacy, they say "Oh We Don't Do That". She hooked me up with a coupon and it really made my day. She really helped me pick out the right product so I don't leave feeling all screwed over. I'm impressed this store is open 24h and the pharmacy is also open 24h with a break from 1:30am-2:00am. I wrote a review 9 years ago indicating that pharmacy is very slow. They are still a bit slow. Many times people complain about the wait at the Pharmacy. I actually had an issue with a prescription. On a Monday I received a partially filled prescription. I called the next day and was told they were working on it and to check back the next day which I did. I was told by the tech that someone would call me back. I should have asked when, because I never got a call back. On Wednesday I was pretty unhappy and called the pharmacy to follow up. I was on hold for 35 minutes, you know the phone would ring like I was going to get connected, but someone picked up the line and immediately put it back on hold. If that happened one more time, I told myself I would go down there and see them myself. Well long story short, it happened again so I went down to the store. I waited at the consultation window. While there, I watched the action behind the staff area counter. There was a long line of people waiting for their prescriptions and three people helping customers at the windows in the store and drive thru. The Pharmacist and the techs were working at double speed carefully filling prescriptions and answering questions. They were all moving like a well oiled machine! Frankly I was impressed by the entire operation. Back to me. I could see the Pharmacist working quickly and efficiently signing things and working on a prescription. Finally my call was picked up by the Pharmacist. I told him I'm looking at you at the Consultation window. He smiled, hung up the phone and helped me in person. He explained what had happened, apologized and asked me to wait five minutes. After two minutes, he asked me to move to the open window, have me my prescription and processed the payment and I was gone. I glanced at his lab coat and could only make out his first name, it was "David". Because I wanted to compliment the gentleman and his team, I went back to the store and asked the Pharmacist's name. It is David Wong. Doctor Wong, thank you for your diligence and commitment to assisting your clients. Thank you also to your Staff for their hard work. Despite my never getting a call back, he made it all better for me. I hope Walgreens brass see this review and be sure to recognize Dr. Wong and his staff. read more

This is a crime of a crime place. There are plenty of alternatives around. Avoid it. I shop here occasionally, eg when I am out of NyQuil or supplements. They occasionally scan the most expensive item twice and if you notice they will blame a scanner and will work 10 min to refund you, if you don't - your money is gone. They will NOT make the same mistake with a $3 item, NyQuil is quite a catch for them. When caught they will not apologize, they will look like it's a normal thing for them, they will open additional registers so the line is not growing. Also near the shop entrance especially in the evenings is not a safe place to be, some ... weird individuals hanging out. read more

I've gone to that pharmacy early when they first open at 8:00 AM - with nobody in line - and 6 people behind the counter - and I STILL had to wait, even though I made my presence known. I've been in lines so long in that store I grew a beard before I reached the counter. I've been with Kaiser now for a number of years and man, what a difference! This pharmacy is an absolute train wreck. On two separate occasions they have dispensed medications to the wrong person. Once to a door dash delivery driver! Their verification is lackadaisical and when inquired about it over the phone, there is zero sense of accountability or urgency to rectify. Simply an offer by a pharmacy employee "Juan" to put in another refill. So this is telling that there is no sense of accountability or sense in how insurance works when dispensing meds. Does this person care that they gave meds to the wrong people? Does this speak on their desire to make things right? Both are a staggering NO. Don't waste your time trying to get prescriptions filled here. Their phone robot will tell you that it will be ready (several days away). You go there and find that not only have they not filled it, but they have to order it for several days in the future. And this is with a prescription you've been filling there for at least 6 months. Each time you had to pay cash- fine- not on insurance. But rather than a text with a question, they randomly decide to just screw you over on an important need. Don't bother with them. Try for online since you're more likely to actually get what you need. read more

The folks who work here have generally been pleasant in terms of customer service, but that only goes so far when operationally they are under resourced. I came in today to fill a prescription. My prescription was taken and I was told that I was all good to go. The person helping me appeared overwhelmed and was helping the drive thru and the in person customers. She took my prescription and I left. I call to check and I am told that I came in to put the prescription in my file but not to fill it. How does that make sense? Why would I come in to put a prescription on file and not to fill it? It is okay to make a mistake but to lie because you cannot take credibility for your mistake is another. Just say you made a mistake, it is okay. But to lie and say I just came in to put a prescription on file is ridiculous. I may have said and please keep this prescription in my file but I def said to fill it. Terrible customer service and no credibility for mistakes. They just lie and say u came by to give them your prescription but not to fill it. Never coming here again. read more

I do not recommend this pharmacy. They take forever to do anything. They have people that work in the store to help in the pharmacy that's how bad it is. They don't care about us. Don't waste your time and take your prescriptions to CVS or Rite Aid. Rite Aid is the best in my opinion. I booked a vaccine appointment online and arrived on time. The staff put me on hold and this hold has been 40 minutes and going. During this time, people were calling in but the staff just picked up the phone and put them on hold without ever answering them again 90% of the time. When attempting to update the insurance, the staff said it would take a couple of minutes to get the interface pulled up, which means the software in use needs engineering. I sympathize the people working here. Please hire more people or do something about the system, training, etc. read more

Seriously. Absolute worst experience I've ever had at a pharmacy. I came through the drive thru. They asked me to park because the prescription wasn't ready. I parked for thirty minutes. I came back to the window for them to once again tell me to flip back around behind three cars and it will be ready. By the time I got to the window again it has been ACTUALLY an hour. I sat at the window for about 45 minutes with a growing line of 5 cars behind me for what reason? I have no idea. They didn't have one shred of decency. We waited all that time for them to say AFTER an hour and 45 time total, we don't have one of your prescriptions? By that time I was just like u know what write it down I'll go for that one medicine somewhere else. I have a newborn literally minutes out of the NICU in the car the medicine was for him. They made me wait about 2 hours and when I finally get to give my insurance card they tell me to come inside! After almost two hours of waiting, no, I'll wait here. They said they need me to confirm this or that they wouldn't specify I said you know what man transfer my prescriptions to another pharmacy I'm sick of waiting for your constant excuses. I'm not moving inside if you can charge me then do it if you can give me the insurance discount cool, but if you can't do either then just transfer my prescriptions to a different pharmacy. They waited for ANOTHER TEN MINUTES for another person to ask me to come inside! Like, ? Bro? Just fucking transfer my prescription! They asked for my insurance AGAIN and AGAIN I gave it to them. Then again they asked me to come inside! I said no I've waited almost three hours I'm not ALSO going inside to wait even longer I'm staying here until you give me my newborn sons medicine or transfer his prescriptions to another pharmacy. They said they were going to call the cops ! I told them that sounds like a great plan. I'm still not moving until you do either of those things. In the end they transferred my sons prescription to a Walgreens in San Jose closer to my house and I picked up his Medicine, with the same documents, without a single hiccup without "come inside to confirm" without park and wait twenty minutes or swing back at the end of the line after said twenty minutes. The staff here is the most unorganized and untrained group of people I've ever met. I ordered a photo book and when I went to pick it up it was damaged on every page. I was told it would get re-printed and I even called to double check before picking it up and when I get there it wasn't ready. The person working (Kevin) told me the only worker that was able to make my book (Ethan) had left without doing it after saying he would. I don't know why Kevin never learned to make this book since he's been working there for 5 months. If I could give zero stars, I would. With Rite Aid closed, this Walgreens is clearly not staffed to handle the added pharmacy demand. I was third in the drive-thru line with my kid's prescription ready--going on 90 minutes with no end in sight. One of the pharmacy workers picked up the phone, left it off the hook, grabbed his snack, and just went on break. At the very least, tell your coworkers you're stepping away. People inside were frustrated too--and it wasn't even busy. Walgreens, hire enough staff so your workers are supported and actually give a damn. This is where people come on some of their worst days.
