I stopped in today to pick up some photos and a prescription for a family member. There was two women at the checkout in the front. Both were too busy in their conversation to really acknowledge the two people standing in front of them. Awesome. Eventually we did get our photos. The real problem here is the pharmacy. I understand we went in after lunch and the day of a holiday. However, there was no one in the pharmacy that seemed to enjoy their job. Maybe they were short staffed, I understand. That doesn't mean it's okay be rude to the patients. The pharmacist even told me she was still drunk! At this point I was questioning if it was from NYE the day before or their lunch break that just ended. She couldn't talk without slurring her words. Also let's discuss their "immunization corner." I surely hope no child tries to put their hand in the Sharps container or go through the vaccine supplies.

However, this review is strictly regarding the front of the store and the photo department. I recently placed an order for a photo order. About 10 minutes later, I got an email stating my order was ready. Awesome! I showed up a few hours later to pick up the order. there was already two people waiting in front of me and they pay someone to the photo department. Together all of us waited over 30 minutes for us to be assisted by an associate in the photo department. Multiple Walgreens employees walked past us and never bothered offering any assistance. When it was my turn to pick up the order, multiple employees had to find my order. I spelled out my last name, multiple times, and they still couldn't find my order. It was in the section where it was supposed to be. Over 30 minutes later and we then had to wait for an associate to build the photo gift that I ordered. When I got the email that my order was ready, I thought it meant everything was ready but instead I ended up spending over an hour at Walgreens with associate that do not care about their job or any customers in the store. I work retail myself, so I know what it's like to be understaffed and overwhelmed, but I would never treat any customers the way that I have been treated here .

This was all the case prior to Rite-Aids departure. In typical fashion corporate planning to head the onslaught of business has been nonexistent. Getting an R/x filled and picked up requires mind blowing expenditure of time on the customer. The staff is overwhelmed and this has been the case for ever, but little is done to address it! Avoid CVS at all if possible as the corporation just scoops profits and is blind to anything else. Kinda reminiscent of the Biden administration. Hmmm!

When you come back your prescription still isn't ready. Today they told me to come back at 7pm it was 3pm. When I returned they said don't have your insurance info and medicine needs to be ordered next day. I asked if they could find me another CVS that had the medicine and the pharmacist told me she didn't have time for that. No consideration for sick people. The medicine was for the breathing machine. The assistant saw how upset I was and she tried to help me and forced the pharmacist to look up the info.
