I normally like this Walgreens location, however, when I showed up today to pick up a prescription my dentist called in - on a Sunday - (for root canal pain, etc.) - and the pharmacy window was closed. There was another person waiting (for them to open after their lunch break from 1:30-2:00), and then at around 2:09, another guest said he checked with the front of the store and they told him the pharmacy wasn't staffed today at all. There was no signage and the site indicates they are open until 6pm. I want to like this store, but is was not a good experience. I'm going to the Cub Foods Pharmacy instead. read more

Maybe the worst I've ever been to for pharmacy service. Totally unprofessional rude clerk. 1 star is a gift. Lacksidasical , not at the register, talks to co worker walking around with clear evidence of customers. Then rude asking... what do you want in a snippy tone! Wow!!! And then there is the stock lady who just said MOVE to a young man waiting for the pharmacist.. she wanted to get to the shelf near him. Omg this place is bad. read more

I wish I could have the option to choose ZERO STARS. This has got to be by far the most unprofessional, incompetent, unorganized, neglectful, unmotivated, location I have ever been too. This is infact not the first or 2nd or third or 4th issue ive had. It's the 16th time ive issues. Under Staffed, RUDE and inattentive. You call and are put on hold and operator get on says your the 3rd caller on hold. 40 minutes later...... you are the third person in line. 20 more minutes later you are now the 2nd person in line 20 more min. THAN " CLICK " NOW YOU GOT HUNG UP ON. Calling MANAGEMENT IS A WASTE OF TIME. DID THAT DONE THAT. GET NO WHERE. I am switching to my old Walgreens on Dulth its farther but who cares!!!!! Its worth 20 minutes farther out. Mike the Pharmacist there is AMAZING ! BEEN with them from 2017- March 2025. IM GOING back. read more

###Walgreens Pharmacy in Saint Anthony - A Health Hazard If you're considering moving to Saint Anthony and have medical needs, beware: the poor service at Walgreens Pharmacy here can seriously harm your health. Today's ordeal began with an urgent care visit for a viral ear infection. By 10 AM, three prescriptions were sent to Walgreens. Seven hours later, I'm in line for the third time. My phone calls have been ignored for over an hour cumulatively, and I fully expect the attendant to tell me, once again, that my prescriptions aren't ready and I need to go to the back of the line. Experience tells me that if I leave, my prescription won't be taken care of at all. Meanwhile, my ear has swollen shut, the pressure inside my head is increasing, pressing harder against my eardrum and deteriorating my health. Walgreens Pharmacy in Saint Anthony is failing me and other patients who rely on them for essential pharmacy services. In the time it took to write this review, the line has moved once. With three people still ahead of me, I anticipate another 45-minute wait before being sent to the back again. I plan to continue posting SEO-optimized one-star reviews and complaints until Walgreens Pharmacy in Saint Anthony delivers the basic pharmacy services we deserve. read more

Walgreens - Walgreens Pharmacy Near Me Drive Through Pharmacy in Saint Anthony mn - Drugstores Near Me - Saint Anthony, Minnesota

I used to have decent experiences with this Walgreens. I was always able to wait for my prescription at the drive through and refills were always on time. As of late, my refills have not been filled on time (I have auto refill, but it makes no difference) and I can't get anyone to answer my phone calls. They have also closed the drive through due to being short sfaffed. Between being unable to talk to a person unless I go in and not being able to pick up prescriptions from the drive through, this has become a pretty miserable experience. I know this is not a staff issue, but a Walgreens issue since they are not hiring enough people to fulfill the roles. read more

I was just on hold with St Anthony pharmacy for 2 hours & 15 minutes!! I needed to find out about my 88 year old mothers prescriptions. At 7:15 they automatically disconnected me!! I am so angry! Transferring all prescriptions over to CVS! MY EXPERIENCE IS NEGATIVE 1!! Never again! read more

When I call I get disconnected frequently. Drive thru is never open due to short staffing. Only the actual pharmacist knows how to run the computer so anyone else that answers says I have to drive over there,go inside, wait in line (after being on hold for an hour and getting hung up on and calling back and being on hold for an hour) to speak with the pharmacist, just to then wait another half hour for the prescription. The app and automated options on the phone are both completely useless. read more

Another complaint about pharmacy. The only way to get a prescription filled is to go in person and than have to wait for them to fill it. Prescription sent by doctor or a refill ordered online with several days given to be filled - just sits there until you go in and get it - or wait on hold for 20 minutes to demand it be filled by a certain time. Always saying they are short staffed. I will be doing my business elsewhere from now on. read more

Do not bother with this location and their pharmacy services. Called location was on hold for 2 HOURS. Only to be hung up on. So I went there to check on my desperately needed, new prescription and there was literally no one in the store and no one on the phone in pharmacy. Staff was so RUDE and unhelpful and I while I was there I witnessed pharmacy staff being super rude to a sweet older gentleman who was just trying to pick up medicine for his wife who has Parkinson's. I will NEVER come to this location or any Walgreen's pharmacy again. What a joke. read more

This Walgreens pharmacy is the worst. Always long lines, prescriptions are never ready on time, so I wait in line twice. Their phone message tells me that my prescriptions are ready and that they're not ready at the same time. Go anywhere else. read more

Every time I've dealt with the Pharmacy Manager, Mark S., in-person or over the phone, he is always super rude, lazy, and unhelpful. Thankfully, most of his staff is way nicer and much more helpful. They need to get rid of this guy. read more

The pharmacy at Walgreens in St. Anthony (MN) is absolutely horrible. My prescription was supposed to go through an expedited process due to the extreme discomfort that my medical condition causes. I had to go back three times and each time I was told that the medication will be ready in an hour. The last trip I could barely walk and they told me to wait in the store. The line was very long and people in line were saying that they also had to come back because their medications were not ready for pickup. After 30 min of waiting, I went to the pharmacy window and asked for a clear answer as to when my medication will be ready. I finally managed to get it. My medication included only 6 pills! of a common medication. It was outrageous. There were four or five people "working" at the pharmacy while people were waiting for ever, and three of them spent a lot of time chatting and ignoring the patients. The pharmacy has been going down for a while now but this is a new low, even for this horrible place. read more

If you're in need of a prescription within 48 hours, go somewhere else. This Walgreen's is the epitome of poor customer service and inefficiency. read more

Horrible service everytime and prescriptions are never ready even when they say they are over the phone. Wait time is longer than any other pharmacy I've ever been to. By the time my prescriptions are ready the meds I need are pointless. read more

If you want a pharmacy where they treat you like crap, this is the place for you. However, if you want a pharmacy where they treat you like a human being, steer clear of this one. Today I encountered a male pharmacist who can only be described by the following words: arrogant, unsympathetic, condescending, belittling and dismissive. The man has no people skills or, for a medical professional, any "bedside manner" to speak of. He needs to be forced to take a course on sensitivity training and, if his behavior does not change, should be discharged. As I left, the man in question said, "You have a nice day", but it was done in a very sarcastic and smarmy tone of voice. Just one more reason to give this store one star. I had intended to do some shopping in addition to my main reason of stopping at the pharmacy, but I informed the store manager of the pharmacist's reprehensible behavior and noted I would not be spending a cent there, now or anytime in the near future. If this is the treatment I can expect from one of their employees, I can take my business elsewhere. read more

If I could give it zero stars I would. This Walgreens in St Anthony is the absolute worst!!!!! It used to be nice, efficient and friendly. I used them as my main pharmacy, but since have switched over all my prescriptions somewhere else. I don't know what happened to this location, but it has gone completely downhill!!! read more

This place is horrible and sad. I waited in line for 15 minutes at the pharmacy while all of the employees stared at me and no one spoke to me. I finally left and made a purchase upfront when I ask the cashier if there was anyone in the pharmacy to help she said probably not they don't like to do their job just for me to go back just for them to say someone will be with you I asked, why is it that none of you guys can help me the response was one of them open their mouth and did not say anything. The other one said our pharmacist is with somebody and the other person up there we don't know where they're at so I asked again you guys are not able to help me, and the one with my the mouth wide-open finally said no after answering the phone in my face. read more

Don't even bother with this pharmacy. They have totally gone down hill. Rude, understaffed and always out of rescue inhalers on top of it. Also, never seen to answer their phone. So done with them! read more

I was in need to pick up my medicine ASAP, however it took the pharmacy 2 weeks to release it. every time I go to pick it up, they give me false information. very poor communication, very bad customer service, rude staff. I DO NOT recommend this pharmac. read more

Gosh this Walgreens pharmacy is the most dysfunctional I've ever had prescriptions at! They're rude and short on the phone, and when you pick items up, they're all oblivious. I've never experienced such a thing. The pharmacist with the big beard is always on his phone and acts like he hates his job. Something needs to be done! I miss my old Walgreens but it might be worth the extra drive to go back there after dealing with this location! read more

When another Walgreens will not help me with my medications refill as I had bronquitis and it was hard to breathe and the other Walgreens told me after 1 hour wait to go else where. This Walgreens was prompt and so polite and understanding that it took 10 min to get my meds . I want to say thank you to the awesome staff of the pharmacy at this location . This will be my To go Walgreens all tho is out of my way I rather the drive . Thank you so so much read more

Mark the pharmacy Manager is the absolute worst. He thrives off of being a complete jerk. Extremely rude, he answers the phone like he hates his life and is just a very unpleasant and unprofessional person. My health insurance case worker called him for me bc I had previous problems with him and she said was his name Mark?" I respond yes and she said "Wow he is not a happy camper, he clearly does not like his job". Switching pharmacies immediately and hope he does better! read more

I don't mind them. It's always been a battle at every pharmacy I've been to. They are so busy and mark is so nice

Hmm ok just another bland outside and inside Walgreens with the basics. This location seems kind of stripped down from others but at least it avoids clutter. The Mpls Central Ave location is closed so some of the non public trans riders may head to this next location. The lot is lower than street level and the parking lot has some odd angles so watch the octogenarians navigation ( or lack of) techniques as they have to make a sharp turn and head back up the hill to exit. At least this location so far doesn't have loiterers in the cars and near the door staring as did the Central Ave store which is perhaps that's why it closed. I'm sure loitering is still illegal in Saint Anthony because it's no longer a violation in Mpls and it shows.. ok getting politically digressive. The staff here will ask if you need help, no one is rude. I don't know how the actual pharmacy rates so I'll wait for someone to review that end. read more

Have you seen that South Park episode where they make fun of a cable Monopoly? That is what it is like at this Walgreens Pharmacy. Watch them screw you over and act smarmy because you dare ask for appropriate service. They get happier and happier as you keep asking for fairness, but they will not give it to you. Then they smile and say Have a nice Day!!! Like a classical narcissist. Just horrible. We as a people need independent Pharmacies. They will bug your doctor for refills of scripts you never wanted (and were transferred from a 90 day pharmacy), "close" that script, then they will then say there is insurance trouble (duh!!!) because the script did not actually get closed. Then say we did everything you asked! Yeah! AND MORE!!! Jerks. I did not ask you to bother Me, My doctor, and My insurance. WTH? Walgreens???? Oh, and they called me two weeks in a row to sign up for getting all my scripts in "one trip" or whatever they call it. Well, I only had one that I was refilling for the last two months. Everything above is PARTLY due to the coding idiots at corporate, but the brainless people behind the counter do not help. When I asked why they do not talk to those people, they wanted me to do it FOR THEM. Also, I am not just writing this behind a computer, they probably know who I am. If I get more angry I will go get pictures of the filth around the counter and outside the drive through. It is disgusting. read more

Customer service is not important here. Girls behind the counter act like I am causing them immense pain by picking up or dropping off a rx. Can't say much more for the pharmacists. I'd go someplace else if it weren't so close and I wasn't so lazy. read more

This Walgreen's is very friendly and has lots of stuff that helps when you're in a pinch. Like say on when you need eggs on Easter day and every other place is closed. I can't tell you how many times I've come here on a late night Birthday shopping spree. If they don't have anything material that would work, then they have loads of gift cards. We use the pharmacy all the time. They are always nice and I've noticed they try to personalize the service a bit. Although, there can be a wait at the randomist times. The photo services are some of the best that I've used and if you have patience they usually have sales or send coupons. In short, it's Walgreen's. read more

The pharmacy staff is very friendly and helpful. They truly want to help each client as much as possible. The store isn't always stocked with convenience items like Milk. The check out workers are great to talk to and always friendly. Easy to find deals. read more

Long lines at drive through and long waits for service even with short lines. Different staff at window each time. Yesterday they messed up my daughter's SSRI prescription - filled it with 40mg vs. 10mg tablets. Even though they are a mile from home, we switched pharmacies! read more

There isn't a whole lot that can go wrong with a walgreens, but this one found a way to get noticed. I have never successfully checked out in less than 10 minutes, and that is not an exaggeration! I don't know if it's the neighborhood but seemingly every customer who shops here has absolutely no time limitations in their life read more

Terrible service in pharmacy the last few months, inside and through drive thru. Minimum of 30 minute wait just to pick up an order I already called in. Currently on 30 min in drive thru now. There were 2 cars in front of me and I have 2 small children in car. It's very frustrating. read more

This place is very friendly and helpful most of the time..Yes, they have their days they are so busy they proabably can't see straight and there are mega lines.. Don't go if you're in a hurry it might take awhile to get through the lines, yet sometimes there are none. The prices mostly are decent and you can find a lot of what you need here for basics!!! read more

Pharmacy is always understaffed, expect to wait a very long time. Even when you call to confirm when a prescription will be ready if will take 45 minutes or an hour after that...we have been loyal long term customers and we will start checking out the competition. read more

This is the world's slowest pharmacy. Whether I go inside or through the drive through--regardless of the time of day--I am there for at least 10 minutes in line before I am even waited on. Usually closer to 20. Horrible. read more

The service the past 3-4 months have been awful regardless of whether or not you stand in line inside the store or go through the one lane at drive thru. Even when you reorder on line ahead of time the wait times exceed 25 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous. read more
