I am new to MN and Walgreens is one of those stores you always seem to need to go to. Photos-online, simple, quick and reasonable, always a coupon They are organized and clean. If you're fortunate enough to catch them open during their regular business hours, then be prepared for a delayed rude service. They interrupt people's conversations to speak with each other, they snippily tell you either their "computers have crashed", they're "backed up", or "you'll have to get it filled tomorrow" when they're still open another five hours. Don't come directly from the doctor looking for your pain relief, they're not concerned about filling your prescription because they're concentrating on their next excuse as to why there's such a wait. They stay on the defense..."We can't just put your prescription to the top of the list" Um did I ask you to? No, But I am here waiting and apparently there's no priority in that, so I'll suffer and return three hours later. Let's see what the excuse will be then. The store is literally two blocks from my house, regardless, this will be my last use of this pharmacy. When you don't feel good, you're not in the mood for people's attitudes. read more

Walgreens in Minnesota for the most part are no longer 24 hours. Plus the pharmacy usually closes an hour or two before store close. For example the Edina store was always 24 hours but now closes at 10pm with the pharmacy closing earlier at 8pm - most stores follow this scheduling now. read more

Terrible terrible terrible service. Phone rang forever. Once a girl answered, she said can I place you on hold? I said no since I've already been holding for five hours. Then she put me on hold anyway. Then some new girl answered and said she can't handle her job and doesn't know how to count and put me on hold again. What a joke. Clearly they'll just hire anyone here. They should be embarrassed honestly. read more

Every time I call the pharmacy I am placed on hold for so long. They take forever to answer the phone.

I'm also leaving 5 stars for the wonderful employee that yells "Welcome to Walgreens" when you enter and thanks you as you leave. You rarely find employees like that these days and she is just a sweetheart! Lots of variety of snacks, beverages, items and a photo center which I used. The photos turned out great too! If you can find another in network pharmacy then run to it as fast as possible. These people are terrible, they kept saying they couldn't find my wife's insurance policy, then when I got them on the line directly with the insurance provider they refused to look anymore. I ended up paying full cost of the prescription out of pocket ($260) then had to submit my own claim for reimbursement. These people are not just bad, they don't care about the problems that they are causing patients. read more

Wont let me give 0 stars. Super rude. Needed to wait for my prescription and pickup some necessities for my husband who just went through foot surgery and wouldn't let me use the restroom. Told me I had to go to Burger King. read more

I also wanted to add that one of the managers (I honestly don't know what his name is but he is a very unique person so I feel my description will not mistake him for any other staff there) is another favorite person of mine that I see when I visit the pharmacy. He is easily over 6ft tall, currently has a purple fohawk, always wearing something colorful, and always has his nails did! No matter who he is talking to, no matter how old they are, what language they speak, he wishes EVERYONE to have a magical day. It just makes me smile. He is a hard worker and all around a fabulous person. read more

Awful staff at night. I come in every single week to deposit money into my paypal using the paypal app and a generated barcode. It's always during the day and always goes well. Sometimes I'll get a new cashier that has to call a manger over to show them how it works. This time it was later and the guy had no idea what I was showing him with the paypal barcode. So he called the manager. The manager comes up and straight up lies and says that they aren't allowed to scan barcodes from phones and that it has been a rule from her bosses for a year and a half. Now how is it that for about a year that I've had no issue but this manager is the only one that seems to know the rules. And about a month ago I was prescribed a new medication. I filled it at walgreens and they filled my anti anxiety med with an anti psychotic and I was taking it for over a month! I go to many walgreens but that staff her are beyond awful and incompetent. read more

The guy that runs photo and WesternUnion Jon was very rude! Keep all I was doing was picking up money because it was my birthday! I gave him the number associated with the account he said it didn't work. So I called to verify the Number an tried again. I asked was there another way to look it up he looked at me an said "I have done this a hundred times I would have told you" I said I was just asking a question he said why don't you go to another store to assist you. I said why would I do that when I'm already here? I then asked to speak with the manager. That's when I was walked over to the manager Wendy. I started to explain what happened and just let her know jon needs better customer service skills she was so nonchalant and seemed she could careless. I just walked away. This was the worst customer service ever! I will never enter that store again! read more

I dont think you can blame the business for not having a drive through or being open 24 hours just because some Walgreens do boast these perks, but my experiences at the Walgreens have been sub par. Meh. I might stop in bc I'm in the neighborhood and need something immediately, but I'll try to avoid it. read more

This Walgreens is terrible, and that's too bad because they cater to the many elderly people in the neighborhood. Firstly, there is no drive thru! Why are you making old folks get out of their cars and walk through the snow to fill a prescription!? Secondly, the pharmacy is adequately staffed, but they need to get their act together. I came one afternoon and was told my grandma's RXs weren't ready yet because the label maker was broken. Really? You only have 1 label maker in this whole place!? I said fine, and that I would come back the next day. When I returned, they still weren't ready and they asked me to come back AGAIN. I returned about 30 minutes later after a few other errands, and they STILL WEREN'T READY despite their 15 minute promise. At this point, I literally just stood at the counter and waited until the pharm tech filled it right then and there. Since I am young and able-bodied, these were minor inconveniences and irritations, but I would really hate for my 92-year-old grandma to have to go through this mess just to get her medication. Two stars instead of one because at least the staff was all pleasant and professional despite making mistakes and causing delays. read more

In general, Walgreen's is useful because it's convenient. Easy parking, quick photo-processing, short lines, and close to home. Convenient this location is NOT. Twice this month I had to stop by Walgreen's for various reasons. The first was to return something I had purchased online. At the time I'm thinking easy-in, easy-out right? Wrong! I waited 45 minutes while the Assistant Manager first claimed the store doesn't do such returns (until he saw it boasted on the receipt from Walgreen's website) and then called another location to figure out how to do an online return. According to his badge, employed since 2001. Wow! Two weeks later my wife asks me to get some digital photos processed. Easy enough, right? Wrong! I returned to the store thirty minutes after the "guaranteed" processing time. They indicated that the photos would be ready in thirty minutes. I hung around, but alas they were not. They explained the machine was not working properly but the photos would be ready soon, and they would provide compensation for our inconvenience. My wife stopped by the next day... nothing, but they would contact us when they were ready. Upon their call five days later, I returned to the store and received fifty cents off my order. Poor service in photo dept. Took 45 minutes and got 2 copies . Had to leave for other appt. Came back and was told to do it myself because she was working on a project for her boss. Customer is NOT important .Won't be going back after all this years. I guess you won't miss someone who does matter. read more

Our usual walgreens meets the standards their ad claims - they go above and beyond. This walgreens told my little girl who was about to throw up and have diarrhea all over the floor that they couldn't let her into the bathroom and she needed to find someplace else with a bathroom at 10:30 at night. Clearly having a sense of humanity isn't a priority. read more

This location is NOT open 24 hours. I stopped by this morning hoping to get some cold medicine before work but the store was dark and the sign on the door indicated that hours of operation were only 7am-midnight. read more

The best thing about this store is they are open 24 hours. Parking is pretty good. Convenient when you need them.

My momma always said that if you couldn't say anything nice then don't say anything at all. I have been coming to this Walgreens for over 30 years and they do their best to help in anyway that they can. Thank you to the staff! read more
