It was stress free and everyone looked stunning. I had booked the bridal hair and makeup appointment far in advance that they were able to make special accommodations for us. I was so happy with my look. I can't thank everyone enough for being part of my special day. Even before and after the wedding, I've had many salon services done here, from hair treatments, make up applications and eyebrow wax/threading. Each time, I've always been very pleasured with the results and enjoy talking with everyone here. Everyone is very nice and knowledgeable about the products they carry. They do get busy frequently but that's to be expected at any retail location. You just have to make sure you have an appointment or not be in a rush if you don't. I highly recommend Chelsea, Taylor and Haley as their skills are perfection.

Unfortunately all of these requests have received no response and it's been a week. I recently had a salon appointment at the Ulta in Poplar Bluff, MO. I have attached photos for reference. Unfortunately my hair was damaged and the color request not followed. The stylist left the dye on much longer than she should have. The stylist left the dye on much longer than she should have. My front is now damaged and breakage. She also got dye on the back of my anthro shirt. This appointment was a touch up from my initial appointment with a different stylist at an Ulta salon out of Colorado.  I did attempt to settle the issue with the GM of the store. She agreed to refund me, however the expense to repair my hair should not be my responsibility. The stylist at this salon shared with me that she is has the most experience as there has been high turn over due to mismanagement. She also expressed she was off for 2 weeks due to "burn out" and now only works 1 day a week. She was overbooked and struggling to manage her work load.  When addressing the situation with the GM, no apology was given, no validation of my concern and was quite flippant about the scenario. I did follow up on Monday with the newly hired salon manager and she gave me the information of a local stylist that may be able to assist me. She did validate the issue with my hair however no offer to compensate or cover this was offered. I work as a DM and had a banquet to host on Tuesday. As you can imagine it is very important that I maintain a professional appearance. I am disappointed at the lack of follow-up from Ulta and would appreciate a response. over priced food, snacks and drinks. up until yesterday customer service was worth the convenience…read moreof the location. went into store to purchase cigarettes had a new employee who tried to tell first tell me they was out of one brand of smokes but I saw them and corrected them after getting them they refused to look in the unopened cartons for the second pack of smokes I needed. after purchasing what I could they tried to tell it was not their fault they was out very rudely. the experienced employee did not bother to even help tel he new employe. on my way out I did not curse I just yelled back because they was very rude I said your not out you just don't know what your doing. I only yelled so they could hear me because I was already out the door when the rude employees yelled at me it wasn't their fault they was out. when I know they wasn't out because she literally picked up the carton but didn't open it to look inside the carton. This morning when I went in to buy two energy drinks I was rudely told I was not allowed to purchase the drinks that they had the right to refuse service to anyone. when the employees was the ones who was a rude, b who refused to do their job, and c yelled at me first me. you literally had the experienced employee just standing there and the new employee did not know what she was looking for. I seriously already have an issue with the over priced products at this location but tolerated it due to location but after this I will be contacting corporate because employees snapping at customers and than refusing service when the customer never cursed or threatened all I said was your not out of cigarettes you just don't know what your looking for and only reason I yelled it is because I was already outside the door when the two employees already yelled at me rudely when they are the ones who absolutely had no idea what they was looking for and what they was talking about. I literally am in the store everyday teo to three times a day I never had an issue and never ever had them tell me my cogs was out because my smokes are so expensiv. again I knew she wasn't out she refused to check the unopened cartons which are all white per state law. only way for her to know which cigs they was was to actually check the cartons. she literally was holding the carton two mins ago when she was looking for the first pack she told me she was out of. how am I to trust her when I saw the pack she thought she was out of. again I didn't threaten or cuss and only yelled because I was outside the door and they yelled at me and I only yelled your not out of cigarettes you just don't know what your looking for. which is true. I feel as a transgender woman the reason these two employees singled me out is because I am transgender and they r usimg this excuse to discriminate against me.

The bathrooms were clean, a little older in fashion but clean. The store had a colorful variety of items; big array of alcoholic beverages, curious tricks and souvenirs and plenty of kids toys. The place smelled like a yummy fairground with the selections of fried goodies they had! I left smelling like them and I didn't even buy any- I'm not complaining about that As far as Covid precautions- They had some signs up about liability things regarding their vapes and vape pens due to Covid. But that's it.
