After a couple of years filling my prescriptions I was told they could no longer help me unless I was put on other meds or family members transfer to them. Doesn't make much sense. Wouldn't suggest anyone use them because one day they may decide for no apparent reason they no longer want you for a customer

They also have filled my prescriptions in record times compared to any chain store when I came in early and needed them because I was in pain. They even called my husband on his birthday to wish him happy birthday and to thank him for the business. We are life long customers now!

I've…read moreeven found that many over the counter products have been cheaper than those in the big chain pharmacies. The staff at Ralph's is simply the best. I used my insurance company mail in service for many years due to the supposed cost savings, and had forgotten how useful it is at times to be able to ask the pharmacist questions about the drugs I was taking, or about other minor health issues. But after a number of problems with the computer generated refill service, I decided to check out how much it would cost to buy my prescriptions locally at brick and mortar stores. Ralph's cost was equal to or lower than the 4 other pharmacies I checked with, and was within "pennies" of the mail order prices. And no more problems talking to a "computer" trying to get a refill sent when I need it, or cancel a prescription when the doctor changes the drugs I'm taking. But its really about the staff -- can't say enough about how good they are. (re the Pelican Point location,)

The receptionist openly said that; it's not speculation. On another occasion, my medicine was meant to be filled by the time I got there. I called ahead to make sure. When I arrived, it wasn't ready, so they took my number and said they'd call as soon as it was ready. I waited over an hour in the parking lot before I decided to drive back around. It was ready. They just never called. Cut to this morning. I call & ask them to fill my prescriptions. "Sure," the man says. "No problem. Give us 20 to 30 minutes and it'll be ready." It's now been an hour and a half, and they're still not ready. Terrible, terrible customer service. I'm honestly not sure how this place is still open. I've been using Bernard's for years, which is why I hadn't switched pharmacies before now, but I do think I'll start going to the Walgreens next door.

This is really a great local pharmacy. After having issues getting some prescriptions straight at a…read morebig box pharmacy, it was recommended to try a local pharmacy and I'm glad I did. You don't get a lot of frills as far as... you can refill from an app etc...like you can with some big name pharmacies and they don't have night hours etc, but the personal service you get is fantastic. You can talk directly to the pharmacist even from the window and they are always very quick and efficient.

It's a pharmacy where everyone knows your name :-) They have plenty of medical necessities for ourchase such as creams you find in the hospitals (calmseptine) to locally produced items such as candles and Nola apparels. I usually come here to fill a prescription that other "retail" pharmacies do not carry. Today they only had a few of my pills left in stock. They filled what they had and will call me next week to come get the rest. How nice! I really like that old town feel that we are currently missing! I hope everyone can come support their locals. I think my prescription may be a few dollars more but worth it for supporting my local pharmacy.

Then the guy behind the pharmacy counter asked me if I was picking up meds- and I said "no, thank you very much for your good customer service" and then I looked at him- a man would like to hand me medicines for my very ill husband... unmasked. Then I looked around and all 3 of the employees I saw in the store were unmasked. I understand people's desires for freedom, but I also know the burden of dealing with long term effects of viral illnesses- and I know the burden of caution for someone I love who is highly vulnerable. It isn't something I would wish on anyone- and I don't just wish- I know my actions to prevent the spread of illness matter. I'd think a pharmacy next to the hospital would do better. I've seen this at restaurants and grocery stores- but a pharmacy?? Put a sign on the outside "attention- employees at the store don't wear masks- if that's cool with you come on in. If you are visiting ting someone at the hospital with a high infection risk or have a high infection risk yourself- shop at Walgreens" I would've gone elsewhere.
