I have received certain meds here before and the lady on the phone rather argue with me instead of fixing the issue and filling my life saving med and saying I wasn't signed up to get notified when I need my meds refilled.. You hung up on me I took my business from you. Let's see which hurts more! All of that after sitting on the phone for 30 minutes waiting for them to answer with 2 calls ahead as I'm sure they were just arguing as well. Just because you work there doesn't give you the right to act like you don't have to do anything for the customer. See more choices doesn't just give options on where to take your business.it also makes employees think they can treat the customer some kinda way. Transferred a needed rx right after lunch and was assured they would prioritize it as I am disabled and they understood my situation. I called back to check the status and they blamed the other pharmacy. I called the other pharmacy who advised that walgreens had just now sent it over and they had just spoke on the phone with them. I called walgreens who assured my son, who tried to get it for me, that they would text me the second it was ready. I casually mentioned I was just 10 minutes from the store. This was around 2:00. They put it off until I got the text at 5:43pm. I got in the car, was held up 2 minutes at the light, but I made it! I sat behind a car for 3 minutes. As they drove off I pulled up and they shut the shade! I look at my phone and it was 5:59. I pushed the call button. I honked my horn for that entire minute. I yelled that I need that medication and that was the point of transferring it and begged them to please give it to me... and my caregiver went to the door to tell them they shut the shade on me and I was in line on time. Now I remember why they haven't been my main pharmacy since 2022!!! Thats okay. I am grateful for the reminder, because I was about to transfer all my medications, about 12 very pricey ones, back to my local Walgreens. They saved me alot of hassle. I had corporate on the phone before he got back to the car. I will never darken their drive thru again. I told Corporate everything they did and did not do as well as told them that I will never have them so much as give me a flu shot ever again. They caused me prolonged suffering and if my health gets worse, I will be sure to call a lawyer about it. If they had told me they had no intention of filling that prescription, one little prepackaged pill that took until 15 minutes before closing to fill, I would have transferred it to Walmart instead! This is what they did instead. That one pill cost them a small fortune they could have made off my full list of meds every month. I hope they get fired for their actions because they shouldn't treat people like that, and that is how they treated me a few years back. It was always a hassle, and I think they were double billing back then, too, saying something cost 120.00 that was less than 10.00 on my insurance, yet said they saved me with a good rx card. and I was bedbound after surgery back then so I couldn't argue. Thats why I left. The new pharmacy billed it right the first time. Thanks for shaking my memory bank! I nearly forgot what money and suffering they caused me! Closer to home is not more convenient!! II don't understand the negative reviews. The pharmacist and assistants have always been professional. They let me know early if something is not in stock. That is rare. They seem to keep a good quantity of what I need in stock. I am very thankful to the people who work at that pharmacy. They have many, many clients to to help. Horrible customer service, if you can call it that. ZERO acknowledgment when you walk in, the staff just ignore you as if you're a considerable bother to them. They make you wait even when you're the only customer in the store and/or drive through. Always try to find any way they can to say NO to your request and are as obstructive and unhelpful as possible. read more

Wish I could give a minus star. The real reason we ever started with the pharmacy was pretty much due to the drive thru service that was available. This is the WORST pharmacy I've ever tried to deal with. My mom was having heart issues which warranted a new prescription for her to start immediately. When I called the pharmacy (on 12/1) I was put on hold for 30+ minutes waiting with no pharmacy person answering so I drove over to physical location only to find out they were "closed" due to staffing issues. My mom was not able to get her prescription and now it was too late to call the doctor back because it was after 5 PM. Now for my personal issues with them. They are "temporarily closed" again (on 12/16). Again...there's medications that are needed in a timely manner. When I called the Walgreens online they were ZERO help also. They recommended transferring my prescriptions to another Walgreens in another city. I will definitely be transferring but NOT to another Walgreens. When they are open the service is slow, not friendly and question everything the doctor phones in. I'm done with Walgreens in Rockmart GA. read more

TERRIBLE customer service. Drive through pharmacy's a terrible experience. My husband had every right to be upset that they still have no refilled his prescriptions from 3 days ago after the Doctor sent in the prescription TWICE.
