You never used to close for "lunch breaks" but now every time i want to get my meds it seems to be break time. WHEN DID YOU START LETTING EVERYONE IN THE PHARMACY GO ON BREAK AT THE SAME TIME??????? Now for the past year I've had nothing but problems with this pharmacy. I've noticed pills missing, I've noticed half of my prescription missing this week and because it's a controlled substance I have to be inconvenienced and go in there to bring the bottle. Why do I have to do this? I let them know that 30 pills out of 60 are missing. They need to see the bottle? I can screenshot the bottle but that's not good enough. What is the bottle going to show that a picture won't. I am just so mad that first of all, this happened. Second of all I have to be inconvenienced over it Third of all the bottle clearly reads 60 pills and that doesn't look like 30 at all. Maybe the employees should be held accountable for the prescriptions they handle. This is not the first time this has happened. I'm just so upset over this. read more

Avoid this pharmacy at all costs. Unprofessional and disrespectful staff. Too many incidents of miscommunication, yet each time the staff blames the customer. I was shocked at how rude I was spoken to on several occasions by the pharmacist himself after his own staff misinformed me or made a mistake. I would not return unless absolutely necessary. read more

I bought a $20.00 Apple gift card yesterday. When I got home and tried to redeem the card a message came up already redeemed. I tried again and again and still the same message. I called Walgreens and the third person I spoke to was the manager. I told her my story and she became extremely defensive. She said it's all over the news and has no control over gift cards. She said to contact Apple directly. I contacted my credit card company instead to dispute the charge. She said Walgreens should not be selling gift cards if they have an attitude like that. I had a "technician" pick up the phone and she asked if she could help me with anything, I said that I would like to speak with the pharmacist because it was regarding a dosage, which I knew a technician CANNOT help me with. She then asked again if she would be able to help me I said I do not think so since the prescriptions/dosages are to be made from the pharmacist. She had an attitude and said that she would transfer the call to the pharmacist who was busy with a client at that moment . I was placed on hold for a couple more minutes, when a different technician answered and asked me the same thing , I said the same and she also gave me attitude and "transferred the call to the pharmacist" where I was placed on hold for 10 mins only to have the call hung up. I called back and was given attitude when I asked the technician to transfer the call to the pharmacist once again and asked what was the names of the other technicians a male answered and stated that he did not know. I spoke with Najee a pharmacist who was very helpful and Jaqueline a technician as well very nice. This all happened because 2:45pm-3:30pm on 8/23/2023. I understand that we are all busy at this time but attitude and getting hung up is not appropriate for any establishment especially one that is supposed to be providing services to people. read more

The great thing about this Walgreen's is that it's 24 hrs, especially the pharmacy which is important for someone like me with a long list of meds to take. It is well stocked, especially when it comes to seasonal items and local team gear. The store is clean and easy to navigate. The photo center is great. Helpful staff but they can definitely perk up a bit when dealing with customers. I should be a sale, not an inconvenience! read more

All the reviews are kinda harsh. The staff is super nice here at this location. Everyone is sweet and helpful. It's decently clean. It is Northlake land of we-can-never-have-anything-nice. Yes they have security at night and weekends I think it's kinda nice. But overall it's the okay-est Walgreens :) read more

I just spoke to a new pharmacist Rozina at Northlake IL Walgreens. She was not only RUDE to me, she was making it seem like I was trying to get my pain medication too soon and that's why my insurance wouldn't pay for my meds. I have Caremark insurance and they only approve 7 days, so I use the goodrx app. I was trying to explain this to Rozina, she then told me I had to wait an additional hour and 30 mins. My script has already been there almost an hour. For a pharmacist that I've never spoken to, to treat me this way, is highly unprofessional and incredibly inappropriate! I have never been treated this way here before. Usually I call and let them know it needs to go under GoodRx and they say oh I see it in the notes, I have NEVER abused nor have I ever gotten my medication early and for Rozina to imply that's why my insurance wasn't covering it, is absolutely appalling. She even spelled out her name for me to make this review. If that's how Walgreens pharmacists are going to treat their patients, I'll go somewhere else from now on. read more

This Walgreen's has a clean parking lot. It's opened 24hrs. The store is clean. I had no problems. The service is good. The medications are done on time. I have no complaints of this Walgreen's. Every night there there is a security guard inside checking the store. This store now carries a Red Box (movie rentals) located outside. read more

Customer service here is horrible, it's the closet to my mother's house and she continues going there. Every time she uses their services, something is wrong! Make sure you check your meds when you use their pharmacy, they have given her the wrong medication and the wrong dosage. Everyone at the pharmacy needs customer service skills 101! They called my mother telling her meds were ready today, she goes to pick them up and they're not ready. Instead of filling it right away, they tell her to go back tomorrow! Those sons of bitches, my mom has really bad knees and has a hard time walking. How about you put a rush on it and fill the meds so they're ready today???? Looking to transfer my mother's meds TODAY to a different pharmacy, this is just too much. She should have stopped going when they gave her the wrong medication and when I called back they denied it, I was on the phone with them for 1 hour that day. read more
