He arrived, installed a new hand control and was gone in less than 20 minutes. All of this occurred in way less than 24 hours from my first contact. The company was officially named BI-LO in 1963 after Outlaw conducted an employee store-naming contest to develop the "brand." You'd think you would get the same type (or better) help from the "bodybuilder" type that works there but what you get instead is him ringing up his bodybuilder gym buddy all the while having a lengthy conversation. Immediately thereafter he sees people in line and abruptly decides he needs to stock shelves. His coworker, one of the women, had to immediately stop what she was doing, as she was monitoring the situation, log onto the register and ring me up while maintaining crowd control due to the Coronavirus. So the four stars go to her and her double-duty due to efforts in making up for a worthless co-worker.

It's not Bed Bath and Beyond's fault though, unless you can blame them for having super awesome, as seen on TV frying pans that don't scratch with a LIFETIME GUARANTEE. They did bait me with a "20% off my entire purchase" coupon though. So I guess we are both guilty parties here. All jokes aside, I did kind of go in just to look around and left with 2 candles, 6 spoons, and 2 frying pans. The sales associates were officious and constantly trying to upsell items. I don't think they work for commission, but they really could have fooled me. Sofia, the associate helping me, sold the crap out of their frying pans and convinced me to buy 2. To be fair, she didn't really have to twist my arm. I have a soft spot for kitchenware. However, I wanted one that was bigger than the one they had in store. Luckily for me, not really because I have no money, she ordered it online, and let me use my 20% off coupon in store and online. She also waived the shipping, so now I wait for my pans to arrive on November 6! In the mean time, I will enjoy the woodwick candles I purchased for 4$ on clearance. Smoked Vanilla is definitely the way to go!

They have coffee beans through out, to cleanse your nasal passages, so you're able to smell the different fragrances. They were training new employees on my visit, so the customer service upon entering the store was lacking - this is a new store to our area, I'm a new customer and was never greeted, or asked if I had questions or given any explanation of their products. Some people don't mind being left alone to shop, but others want that attention. However, when I had a question and approached an employee they were eager to answer the questions I had. I purchased a set of dryer balls, shower bombs, shower oil, and whipped lotion and can't wait to use them! After my check out, I overheard one cashier mention to another customer about "spend "x" amount of money and save "x" amount of money." I'm not sure if I had already hit that threshold and that's why the cashier never mentioned it to me, but I'd recommend asking if they have any specials when entering the store, that way you'll know before checking out. They offer bath bomb or soap making parties - minimum of 10 people and a cost of $25/person.

Buff City is located between Target and Kohls (smart move!). This location is currently in a soft opening, with a grand opening scheduled for the end of this month (October 2022). Everything in the store is clearly marked and well-organized. The employees are also very attentive. The store doesn't smell like a sick mixture of every scent like many body care stores tend to and they handmake the products in store, which is very impressive. I purchased a few soaps, a shave bar, a pack of dryer balls, and a pack of bath bombs. The soaps so far are very lovely and have a great skin feel and smell. The base price is $7 and the moisturizing versions with shea butter are $8. I have really liked all of the products except for the bath bombs. Although the bath bombs smell really nice, they do not bubble at all or affect the water's color at all. For that reason, I'd spend the money on a quality bath bomb or bubble bar from Lush for the full bubbly and overall experience in the bath tub. Definitely a nice place to keep some gifts on hand! I was also told that groups of 10 and over can do soap making parties in store. Overall, a nice addition to Columbia County!
