After a while we became disenchanted with Okie's. First, business hours are very short. One time an emergency walk in prescribed medication for an allergic reaction. By the time we got to Okie's, at 2:05pm they were locked up. We ended up getting the prescription sent to a nearby pharmacy and began going there instead. Once we switched we noticed the same exact item at the new pharmacy was 1/2 of what it cost at Okie's. Old town charm is not enough of a reason to jump through hoops AND overpay for medical needs.

And I can see why people go to Kroger because it's food only and you don't have to walk around a lot, but overtime you'll save a good amount of money by choosing walmart. Never received bad service, but that's not to say this place has ever had someone stand out to me. Again. Solid Kroger. Large. Open space. Just a dark, rough around the edges feel. Side note. Customer service serves as the employee break area. Often has back of the house posts (birthdays, some like/dislike survey) up for the world to see. Just odd.

Had both thumbs injected. Left healed faster. Right took twice as long but was much worse. Completely healed. 2 months ago had left knee injected. Will take quite a while to heal due to it being a weight-bearing joint could take 6-12 months. So for now I limp, but being an RN, I know this type of healing will take time. PA said time for partial knee replacement but I said no... time for stem cells! Love Susan. So caring and never acts rushed. Worth the money. Even though I know Medicare would pay for my surgery and my rehab and everything I need for all this, I do not want another knee surgery. Just like I had a rotator cuff tear back in 2008. I had to have a rotator cuff repair and I would not want to go through that surgery again. My left shoulder I could barely lift my arm up and now I have got complete full range of motion back. Complete healing. Highly recommend this place and highly recommend Susan who is the nurse practitioner!
