Not only did I waste my time, I only get out once a week to get errands run. I am leaving for vacation in less than 24 hours and wanted to get my prescriptions filled so that I would have them while I was out of town. She gave me one, told me that she had to call the doctor tomorrow and find out whether he wanted me to have it or not. I tried explaining to her that I had had it filled there before and she handed me my one prescription then shut the slot. I have never encountered such a pharmacist & If she had questions she should have called before she filled it and before I went up there to pick it up. My encounter with her was very humiliating and upsetting. UPDATE: My autofill…read moreprescription was ordered on Friday, 4/26/24. I called on Monday to inquire when I could pick it up. I was told they are 4 days behind in filling prescriptions because they only have 2 people working. HIRE MORE PEOPLE!!!! I cannot go a day without taking my pills. So now because I cannot pick them up in a timely manner, I have to wait one week to start the prescription again. In the meantime, my days are not good because I experience migraines. Imagine someone who takes blood thinners or heart medication. This is so unacceptable from CVS and continues to happen at this particular location. I have since moved all my prescriptions to another CVS location. I refuse to go to the Santa Barbara location anymore. They continue to fail the people; their customers who rely on them.

We went at 11am two days later to pick up.We were told it was not ready and to back in an hour. We came back 3 hours later and were again told "I don't know what happened. Come back in an hour and it will be ready." We came back 2 hours later and were made to wait 20 min in drive thru with 5 cars waiting behind us. When she came back she said "we are out of that med". I explained that we were flying out at 6am the next day and my mom needed it. She then disappeared for another 20 minutes. When she came back, she said "we found some". After a few more minutes she gave the bag to us. when we got home, they were only three tablets in the bottle when there should've been 90. They did not warn us about this. This store is an absolute disaster. Nobody knows what they are doing. Theh lie to the customer and hope they won't come back. It's insane.
