UPDATE: I had the chance to go to this neighborhood Walgreens again to get vaccination update for work, this time went a bit smoother. The process to look at and schedule an appointment on the Walgreens app continues to be pretty good with continued excellent availability and scheduling ease. The form fill-out process on the app appeared to be successful this year as opposed to the last experience. The only snag was the online check-in process was not optimal as it continued to say they were not open yet when it was past time for opening after lunch and staff had returned. This one thing was remedied by check-in at the desk/counter in the pharmacy itself, so not a big deal. I was seen in a very timely manner, and the healthcare professional performing the actual vaccination process was thorough, answering any questions, making sure all documentation as well as the vaccination itself was completed with efficiency. This visit was a more positive experience than last, definitely. read more

First time using the Photo Department at this Walgreens. Fast and easy online same day printing for my 4"x6" photos. I got an email saying that my order had been received and it gave me a time they would be ready. Went to pick them up the next day instead of the same day and they had just finished printing. Good thing I didn't go the same day. The lady behind the counter asked if I had received an email that said they were ready. I didn't know that I would receive one. I just thought they would be ready at the time on the first email. My bad...never should assume anything. Evidently there is a shortage in photo paper especially the 4"x6". The cost was great and the quality of the photos was very good. I'd definitely use them again but I would double check that they are ready before I head to pick them up. Sat on hold for 20 minutes waiting to see about what time my prescription would be ready. The person who answered the phone was incredibly rude and reminded me I have text messages that get sent to me and I should hear in 30 minutes, if I wanted to have to guess what time it would be ready I could have just looked at my messages all day waiting for the text to come through telling me when I should come get it. Actually shocked that they are even rated this high on Yelp. Will be finding a new pharmacy! read more

The service and communication in horrid! I placed an order for pictures today morning, and the estimated pickup time was listed as 12:30pm. I arrived to pick up my photos at 6:00pm, and they hadn't even started my order! Unacceptable! I had placed an order early because I had needed it on time for my time-crunched event, but it still wasn't ready! I had to wait for more than half an hour! I didn't even receive a notification stating that it had been delayed! When I asked them why it was not ready, they stated that I was supposed to call before coming to pick up an order, but I was not instructed to do so anywhere! The pharmacy at this store is so incompetent. I had prescriptions to pick up yesterday and mind you I've been going to this store forever and all of a sudden there is a delay due to insurance.... there were 5 cars in front of me and no movement for 20 minutes. I went in and it was total chaos ( I'm a senior citizen with a leg injury that was extremely painful and I had to walk in) today another rx. Was called in, again insurance problems so I called , spent 45 minutes on hold and was disconnected. That was this morning. I am on the phone now for over 30 minutes to find out what is going on because the application says it's in process ALL DAY!!! After this rx is filled I'm transferring to CVS. This has to be the most dysfunctional pharmacy ever. We have been customers for years and it has continued to go downhill to the point where they have literally lost our prescriptions or said they were filled/ready yet when we got there they said they never filled them. Medications we get regularly have been out of stock the last few months and the staff are rude and simply will ignore you if you chose to take the drive thru. They lost my prescription. They said they never received it but I had numerous emails and text messages saying it was in progress. The new pharmacist is not a nice guy. The lines to pick up or drop off a prescription are always very long. Sad.. Update: this pharmacy has only gotten worse... planning on moving my family's prescriptions to CVS. This Walgreens is at the corner of incompetent and a full fledged nightmare. I have filled my prescription with them for the last two years and recently it had gotten so bad that I transferred everything over to CVS. The pharmacy cannot keep workers. They will get someone competent and the next week they are gone. When the pharmacy messes up your prescription they immediately tell you to call your doctor, the you find out it was the tech that messed up your prescription. Want to call and check on a prescription that was sent in 5 days ago and still isn't filled? Be prepared to wait on the phone for 52mins just to be hung up on. Want to go through the drive thru? Allow 30 to 45min if there one or two cars in front of you. All I can say is RUNNNNNNNNN. Nightmare customer service.... Nightmare EVERYTHING. read more

Pharmacy staff is friendly, absolutely useless if you're trying to get a prescription filled. Every time I have to submit a refill, it's a nightmare. They'll end up saying they called the doctor a few times, never works. You'll end up calling your doctor because Walgreens never got the prescription. Then usually their fax machine isn't working, so when you go to pick it up, SURPRISE, they still don't have it. If you have to have ANY prescription done here, get a physical copy and manually HAND it to the pharmacist. If not you'll be playing a game of cat and mouse for days. read more

The service in the pharmacy at this Walgreens is horrible. Every month there is a new problem with filling my prescription. The woman who assists the pharmacist is rude and condescending. After waiting on the phone on hold for 40 minutes, and then sitting in my car for another 25 minutes, the woman at the window tells me I don't have the prescription that I already submitted to be filled. This is a regular monthly song and dance with her. I show her on my app that indeed the prescription exists, and that Walgreens has acknowledged it on the app, and she still argues that it's not there. She would be happy to send me packing, but I request help from the pharmacist, who shows the lady how to read the information on her computer screen. After a sideways look from the window lady, I have to come back later to pick up the medicine. This time I come into the store. Rude lady gives attitude that makes it clear that I'm about as welcome as a turd in a punch bowl when I do my time in line and finally make it to the register. I didn't cause any of the problems with filling the medication. I can't help that there are shortages that led my doctor to changing my prescription three times, and subsequently caused my insurance company to require prior authorization. I am depending of the doctor, the pharmacy, and the insurance company to work together. I am paying all of the above and getting nothing but treated like a big inconvenience. read more

Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! They completely lack customer service skills. So you understand what customer service means to me is less customer effort along with anticipating customer needs. I had to call 3 times and make 2 trips to get my sons medicine and it still wasn't right which caused me to stay out on a rainy day doing unnecessary food shopping hoping the prescription would be ready by the time I was finished, it wasn't, so I had to go back home and come out again, which since I had to do I was trying to do before my husband went to work to avoid putting sick kids out in the rain. Anyway, on top of all of that frustration they didn't have it done correctly which now by the time he gets his medicine he will have to miss a second day of school. I'm surprised how there are no reviews for this location yet. I have been going here for about 2.5 years now & always found the staff to be very friendly. As for the pharmacy, there are very polite & affable. I've had no issues getting my prescribed medicines from them. I also like to shop discounted cosmetics & other seasonal goods here. This holiday they had a great collection of lights & holiday gifts. They had led indoor/outdoor lights, mug warmers, foot pillow massager, coin counters & many more gifts under 10$. I have been coming to Walgreens with the same prescriptions for years for monthly refills. Today, I went for a refill, and the new pharmacist, Matthew, refused to fill it. I tried to explain to him that my doctor writes this prescription 1-2 pills for a 30 day supply for years. Insurance pays for 30 and 10 out of pocket. He told me either I pay for the whole 40 pills or Insurance pays for the 40 pills. He refused to help or even listen, and I had to take my prescription across the street to CVS to refill it. I am very upset because of the rest of the medication there and because of Matthew, I have to call my doctors to move all my automatic medication refills to a different pharmacy. I like my Walgreen pharmacy and I do not want to let this imbecile pharmacist, Matthew, be the cause of my inconvenience. I tried to call Walgreen's complaint office and waited for an hour. I will keep calling till I get to the bottom of it. I won't stop short till I get a good explanation or at least an oppology. read more

Such a friendly environment, the employees are always kind and helpful. Products are almost always in stock but when they aren't the employees will help me find them elsewhere. One of the managers there was very helpful and stoped what he was doing to help me track down my specific product. By far the best customer service I've ever received. I had gone here to take a passport photo and did not have a good experience. The lady at the photo section (Sang---) was not at all customer friendly. She was not courteous to show the pic that she took; printed extra copies without asking me first; and was not helpful or polite during checkout; and also made me wait 15-20mns before taking the pic. I have certainly experienced better customer service from this particular walgreens and come here often. Hope this brings a change and better experience for others.. read more

I called literally just now to ask about passport photo services (the photo dept didnt have a person to answer so I was re-routed to another dept, not sure what it was). I was very nice, asked the person on the other end how is she doing to which she coldly answered "good" . Still I was very pleasant and asked her about how long to get a passport photo she grumpily answered me "not long". I kept my cool and asked a rough estimate, 30mins, 1 hour 15mins? And she rudely raised her voice and said "Not long!" If you had it recorded, I literally called only 10minutes ago, she was RUDE! (Sso rude that this is my first time to make a review in yelp and I've had my fair share of bad services but by far this is the only one which deserves a bad review!). so Boo!
