My name is Peter I had a appointment at Pinnacle dermatology back on February 19th 2026…read more administrative was not a problem when I went there I had a procedure done where they said I had a few legions caused by large poors and oily skin. They told me they would give me needles into my face to numb it up. the size of the needle was very unexpected in as much as I've had something like The same procedure before with smaller needles. I believe the person given me the needles was like a trainee and the needle that she used was a lot bigger than the last one I saw getting a procedure done at a dermatologist on my face. The lidocaine was still cool thickening the liquid itself which makes it more painful while being injected mind you I had four lesions removed. I was told that my insurance would not cover it so I paid cash. I have canceled the following procedure I was going to get done which was a lump in the back of my neck and I canceled the appointment a week before. I received a bill in the mail on March 19th. The bill was 153.89 I had paid them cash because it was not covered by my insurance For the procedure. They told me that the bill was because I'm a first time patient and that's for being in the office so. I show up for an appointment and I got to pay for being in the office cuz I showed up?? An then pay cash for the procedure on top of it ? I've never heard of such a thing in all my life maybe because I'm not from the south but where I come from they don't do that . The following procedure again like I said I canceled and I never returned for basically because the doctor told me that the pain that I went through with the first procedure that I had the legions remove that doing my neck was going to be more painful I guess they don't believe in applying a cream that numbs you up before you get the needles. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND I STILL GOT TO PAY THEM.
