The level of care this team provides is unlike anything I have ever experienced at a pharmacy, anywhere. They treat you like a person, not a number. When I pop in with questions, I'm greeted with genuine kindness. It feels more like catching up with friends than navigating a transaction. That warmth is consistent every single time, and it's what truly sets them apart. Recently, when I needed a quick change to a prescription, the team went above and beyond without hesitation. They coordinated with their Rock Hill location to hold it for me and expedited it to my local Fort Mill pickup spot -- all with nothing but a smile and a willingness to help. That kind of effort is rare, and it made a real difference. One thing many people don't realize: independent pharmacies like Palmetto are often able to fill prescriptions when the big chains are out of stock. That alone is reason enough to make the switch, but add in the personalized service and genuine care, and there's really no comparison. If you're still filling at a chain pharmacy and haven't tried Palmetto Pharmacy in Fort Mill, I can't recommend them highly enough. You'll wonder why you waited so long.

They have the most compassionate staff and are always willing to do anything they can to help.read more

So much that I will gladly take my wife to the store to endure an hour or so of smelling soaps. Form the moment we walk into the door there was someone there, with a smile, greeting us and helping us out. Given that this was during the holiday season I expect anyone working retail to be a little short and quickly approaching exhaustion. Nope, not here. Everyone was very pleasant and seemed happy to see me. So happy, I may just go back to feel like I'm appreciated (Lol). Apart from the service, everything was well managed and stocked. There were no shelves that seemed bare or disheveled. Two thumbs up to the team!

I assume most people would come here for drugs... the prescription kind... not the fun kind (j/k). But there is a wide selection of other products to pick up here aside from the usual drug store (makeup and bathroom products). You've got the seasonal stuff in the center isle and also a good place to get greeting cards (in a pinch). OH- I forgot the photo processing and the redbox machine in front of this CVS location. You can definitely do a lot during a CVS trip.

Several serious things have happened. About 6 months ago, I picked up my meds, went to place in my pill box and noticed the pills didn't look the same. CVS gave me the incorrect prescription.... they gave me Susan's high dose sleeping prescription. I looked at the bag, it had my name on it...the bottle had Susan???? Yes, I had Susan's name, address, and doctors' information. (I don't know Susan) HMMMMM. I returned the next day and told them the situation and they commented "Oh yeah, we do make mistakes" WHAT THE HELL? REALLY??? If my husband filled my pill box. I would have fallen asleep driving to work. I take my thyroid meds every morning. They refilled my prescription as fast as they could. You know this Puerto Rican girl was tell everyone in line to check their medicine and what happened to me. A few months later....CVS strikes again, picked up my husband's diabetic meds and went to fill his pill box. Opened the Metformin bottle and noticed different size of pills. HMMM. REALLY? This couldn't happen again???? oh yes it did. The bag has my husband's name and the bottle. They added 15 pills of Xanax. I called CVS and they said I needed to bring the bottle back to them and they would refill with correct pills. No sense of urgency or concern. They refilled and handed me the bag. No apology was given. WOW!!!! So, it does come in threes...that's what they say. CVS strikes again, on Monday, 8/8 my husband picked up his NovoLog (insulin) and 4 boxes of needles (for insulin) Our insulin coupon has 30-supply for $25.00 and 90-day supply for $75.00. They charged us $75.00 for 30-day supply and $160.00 for 4 boxes of needles. The total of this transaction should have been $70 ish. They should have told him about $160.00 for needles, they didn't, he assumed he had other meds that needed to be filled. I took the insulin and needles back on Monday night, they would not take the needles back (in the same bag they gave us and stapled, we didn't open). and Valerie in her rude smart a$$ mouth. We charged you the correct amount and I showed her the same coupon they have on fill. I said, this is a 30-day supply that we got today. Valerie said no we gave you 90-day supply. Valerie doesn't know how to read; she looked at it and said I would need to call our insurance company and we couldn't return the needles. If she had looked in her system and the box...it was for 30-days. I would need to talk to her manager to come back Tuesday. I returned on Tuesday; Brittney didn't work Tuesday. I went back on Wednesday, got my refund for over charged insulin ($50.00). Brittney (manager and very rude) would not refund me the $160.00 for needles. She said if we brought them back the same day, she would have given the refund. WE DID!!! and they said no. So, the bag sits at my house for 2 hours they would refund...but 2 days they would not refund. WE DIDN'T OPEN THE BROWN STAPLED BAG!!!! Looking online I can purchase the same box for $14.99 a box. BEWARE!!! STAY AWAY FROM CVS!!!!

Staff at the Matthew's location are approachable and won't run away from you. In general, a better vibe; However - I don't like that they don't have a Self-Serve Check Out Option; Some of the Cashiers can get a little arrogant. Again - Better selection of items at this location. Parking lot can get a bit hectic, however - lots of movement. Lots of great deals sop don't even think about walking out with the Butter that you thought you were going to get. You aren't getting away without spending $150.00 USD per every visit.

Other than the parking lot circus on a Saturday morning, this Costco is exactly what I've come to…read moreexpect from the chain, the kind of familiar interior that feels almost comforting once you're through the doors. It's the classic huge warehouse footprint with food items running down one whole side, the deli, bakery and fresh foods stretching across the back, and the kitchen and homewares anchoring the other side. The stacked bays rise to the ceiling like always, but the things you actually need are right at eye level so you're not hunting. I had a short list today and found all our usual favorites without any wandering. A package of smoked salmon, the blue eggs, that excellent canned tuna, and a block of the three year aged cheddar all went straight into the cart. As much as the $1.50 hot dog was calling my name, I skipped it and saved my appetite for a later stop on this morning's route, which felt like the right kind of discipline for a day that was already testing my patience. But then you step back outside and remember where you are. This shopping center is not easy to navigate even on a quiet day, and on a sunny weekend morning it becomes something else entirely. The short aisles are a challenge because people wait for a single space to open and in doing so block the entire lane, and the uneven grading means you're constantly rolling up or down as you try to find an escape route. The twisty lanes probably do keep speeds down, but they also make it harder to see what's coming, and finding an exit feels like solving a puzzle you didn't ask to play. If you can swing it, shop during less busy times like a Tuesday afternoon when the sun isn't drawing half of Matthews into the same parking lot. Weekend mornings with blue skies are bonkers, and no amount of inexpensive delicious food can fully take the edge off that particular adventure. The look on her face and lack of any welcoming words made it clear that I was inconveniencing her. Small order. I brought in a priority mail package for tracking purposes. I also had a large 9X11 envelope and also a regular size (#10) envelope that contained only a check to mail. I did not have stamps with me so I asked the clerk to add postage for the small envelope too. When she affixed the postage, I saw that it was $1.00. I asked her why it wasn't 55 cents and her words were "that's what the machine said." Then threw it in her bin. No big deal, right? Well when I got home and studied the receipt, I say that she rang it up as a large envelope. It is eating at me...both the lack of good service and the overcharging. Thus this review. They may be a good pharmacy, but I'm not sure I want that same clerk filling my prescriptions either.

Upon approaching the register, I informed the lady of my intention to return the item. She responded that returns or exchanges were not accepted. When I asked for clarification--since the item was unopened--she pointed to a sign stating, "No returns or exchanges on clippers, trimmers, wigs, & hair." I noted that contact lenses were not listed, to which she replied that the store does not list every non-returnable item on the sign. I then requested to speak with a manager, but was told no manager was on duty. She offered to provide a phone number, but first asked me to step aside so she could assist another customer, which felt dismissive and unprofessional. Afterward, she provided me with the manager's contact information. I called the number twice immediately after leaving the store, left a voicemail, and included my contact information, but I have yet to receive a response. I would appreciate clarification on your return policy and a follow-up regarding this experience. Thanks.
