Great job on your first review guys. What a waste. If it's an hour, tell me it's an hour. Rick, the store manager, came to my assistance and help figure us out. They had a new pharmacist who put my order in for the next day instead of right there. Thanks for squared me away Rick! They deliver my meds to me on a timely basis and even the smallest kindness was shown to be several times. One of the pharmacists literally stopped by my house on his way home just to be sure I got my medication. The delivery people are also awesome. I am slow getting to the door so they wait. Also, I use their Compounding pharmacy for one my my meds my insurance doesn't think helps me and even one of our cats uses their Animal Compounding pharmacy. I've never had anything but great service from them and will continue to use them as long as I can!

I'm a married,…read moremother of two daughters, we moved to Green Township and had our monthly medications transferred to this pharmacy because we enjoy knowing we shop locally and help smaller family owned businesses. This pharmacy is just few minutes from our new home. Unfortunately it has turned out to be a very bad experience, with a family of 4 and 3 of us on monthly medication, my iPad reminder is set to help keep me organized, my husband left to pick up our daughter so I reminded him to pick up my nerve pills as they are due in 48hrs. He returned home to tell me the pharmacist at Mullaney's printed out a few of my monthly refills showing I always pick up meds 48hrs prior to fill date, he told my husband I should have an "accumulated amount " still left. He went on to say how my nerve pill is a controlled medication, my husband took it as he was suggesting I abuse my medication like a drug addict. I was upset to say the least, of my 4 medications my nerve pill is an anti anxiety medication, my mother is battling Cancer and I have two teen daughters as well as my own medical problems. I called the pharmacist directly just to be cut off by the woman who answered and put on hold for that specific pharmacist. I asked him in a concerned and polite voice if everything is okay? My insurance won't pay for my medication any earlier than 48hrs before due and he explained the controlled substance to me as well, his voice was very antagonizing and when I explained some months they do last longer and some they don't. It's a anxiety pill after all, he laughed and said he is sure I know exactly how many I have left . I was taken aback by these accusations so I politely ended our conversation. I immediately called both my Dr as well as my insurance and both of them said Ohio has very strict laws on nerve pills and if they are too early or misused the computer won't allow them to be dispensed, it would take an over ride by the pharmacist, my medication went through just fine, I always pick up all our meds 48hrs before due this time of year as well as keep the house stocked with food due to bad roads in the winter. It's sad this day and age , a pharmacist will go as far as embarrassing a customer over picking up medication 48hrs early to prevent any mishaps, as a mother you learn not to wait until the last minute to get things done. I was left offended and considering going back to the big chain pharmacy where for ten years we never had any problems. I do want to add, before this experience with that specific pharmacist, the other gentleman who I personally dealt with was always very nice and I didn't feel judged or accused at all. Our stray cat who adopted us, got hurt outside and I was able to get advice for wrapping his leg and purchase the wrap I needed while waiting on our meds. I enjoyed this pharmacy a lot prior to this experience, but after the way my husband and I felt treated over my nerve pills. We are just not comfortable going there anymore. :-(

The staff is wonderful from tech right up to pharmacists! My experience with them is solely limited to animal medications, but they will bend over backwards to make it easy to medicate. They can make whatever drug into liquid (any flavor from chicken, to fish or beef), capsule, and even transdermal gel (placed inside ear flap) if you can't pill your pet. All of this is done with a quick turnaround time and at reasonable cost! Most recently I had acquired some powder from my Vet specialist that I was to mix with my dogs food. Yeah no, too bitter no matter what I hid it in. These guys helped me pick out the right size empty capsule and gave me tips on how to easily fill it! The capsules were reasonably priced and they got them ready right away!

I have accepted the way they do business because it is different than regular drug stores or box stores with a pharmacy. The cost is always different and not always covered by insurance. So doing your homework for the best prices is necessary. Hills Pharmacy does not have the kindest most professional staff and to me need some training in this area. The pharmacy to me charges way too much for the compounding medications with no exceptions for Seniors. I am out $879.94 because they have overcharged me for these medications. I changed pharmacies because of the bad attitude of the employees and have found they have been scamming me all this money slowly on a monthly basis. I am a 72 year old on Social Security. My insurance does not cover this prescription so I thought this pharmacy would be more understanding and give a fair price. They were not and I have found out that I was SCAMMED by these people is disturbing and makes me mad that Seniors are taken advantage of. $879.94 is a lot of money and not something I can just give up. I am sending this notice so that others who find themselves in this situation will be careful with who you deal with and make sure you are getting a fair price. These are just the figures from receipts I have and does not include taxes or shipping. So we are sure the amount scammed is $2,000.00.
