Say, these guys went out of their way for me a while back contacting my physician and getting me to be able to switch to a higher dose of medication which is working out great for me so far. If it weren't for them I'd be going through the same sort of thing as I was before and I'd never have known. I think a lot of Walgreens don't have as many staff any longer and it's not Walgreens fault. I like to think maybe they get frustrated not having the staff they need and lots of customers usually(not myself, not usually) irate to begin with and all. I wanted to post this updated review bcuz they have helped me and have been kind to me as a customer/patient and the truth is they have been a better Walgreens than any other I've dealt with and etc. Thanks for your help. read more

Walgreens in Miami oklahoma is the worst pharmacy I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. 90% of the time when they fill scripts for me they do it wrong. They put the wrong Drs. name on my (scripts approximately 20 times ) (A Dr. I have never used or heard of before)after telling them over & over again by me & my provider also told numerous times, to correct the Dr. name that they used & then they would turn right around & put this poor innocent Dr. name back on my scripts when they would refill it .They even went so far as to attach this poor innocent Drs. DEA # to my scripts that were controlled.That poor innocent doctor has not worked in this area since 2013 yet Walgreens in Miami OK continued to put his name on my scripts. There was also a pharmacy tech at Walgreens in Miami OK that also gave all my private information including the medication I was prescribed, to an acquaintance of hers outside of Walgreens which was a clear violation of the HIPAA Privacy Act that I signed at Walgreens in Miami Oklahoma. The person the Walgreens tech illegally gave my private information too, was my 19 year old grandaughter, who, by the way, was the DARE AMBASSADOR FOR THE STATE at that time! Needless to say I do not use Walgreens in Miami Oklahoma at all anymore. The staff at Walgreens in Miami Oklahoma do not seem to have a clue as to what they are doing in that pharmacy. They are very unprofessional and very condescending, disrespectful and rude at the Walgreens pharmacy in Miami Oklahoma. I will never use a Walgreen again as I'm afraid they will dispense the wrong medications into my perscription bottles that could cause harm to me. When I spoke Walgreens corporate office about these issues they are always very rude and condescending and have even gone so far as to try to blame me, the consumer, for the blatant negligent activity that goes on all the time in Walgreens of Miami Oklahoma.
