I had used the app (as I always do) to pick up my antidepressant on Feb. 9th. I continued to check and the order stated stating it had been received. I attempted to call, no answer. I called again a few days later, was put on hold and the ended. Today, I finally got to speak to hands down, the most inconsiderate employee I have ever encountered when working with any business. I obviously called regarding my prescription pending. The employee immediately stated "you have no prescription here and you have never picked up from here." I explained that I had it on my app, I verified the correct address with him, and also provided the RX # for my ANTIDEPRESSANT that was supposed to be ready on Feb 9th (see image below). He looked up the RX, verified the prescription and stated it was not at his store. I then asked for the store it states that it is at so I could call them and he said he does not know which store it is at that it only gives the store number. He only knew what his store number was. There's no way of looking that up? He said no. I work in customer service, I work in management, I have to handle phone calls daily. I understand that sometimes complex situations occur (my app is showing your location and you are seeing different). However, being that I obviously NEED this medication, he could not give me any assistance? I know he could, because I called the location on Canada road and they will have the prescription ready in an hour. Now I will drive 30 minutes to get my prescription because this man at Union could not assist me. What a joke.

Then my mom went to pick it up for me and they were "at lunch" an hour later. She went back at 2pm and she waited 30 min for them to tell her that they never received the prescription. She saw 4 of the employees standing around doing nothing. My Dr. called in the RX again and 30 minutes later the RX isn't showing up in the Walgreens app and Walgreens won't answer the phone. Will never use this Walgreens again.

I was kept on hold for over 10 minutes at which point I was transferred to a recording that only gave me the option for a dial by name directory. I called back and was hung up on twice and the third time a male employee answered and said "we don't want to talk to you and hung up." Must be nice to have so much business that you can turn down transfers. I'll be happy to let the LTC facility and provider's office know not to consider your pharmacy for their compounding needs.

After much reflection, I believe I need to share my experience at this Walgreens. I did speak to…read morethe one of the store managers. When I asked the young lady at the register going out could I speak to a store manager she said she was. As I began to share my experience with her she call someone else to come up without telling me. I continued and then she said that someone else was coming. So I did speak to someone. Now my dilemma. I regis for a Covid vaccine online at that Walgreens. My appt was at 12:15. Got there the young lady ask my name and I guess was signing my me up. I told her I had an appt. Anyway it was taking too long and in the pharmacy area, workers were having conversations that had nothing to do with work. The young lady comes with vacc in hand to take me in and then said where is your paperwork? She just decided to ask me about paperwork when O had been waiting 25 mins. I asked her had she run my insurance and she said yes but all U needed was to sign one paper. All of a sudden this tall Dr., I assume came to the counter saying excuse me it takes time to get a vaccine in such a loud rude manner. He is definitely this Walgreens "bully". He continued on with no one "calling him out for his behavior . The employees only looked on to see him continue to be very disrespectful and belligerent. I mean as if I was supposed to tremble. No he was being ignorant. He even as the aggressor said I could leave. He is acting a fool and I should leave. Go figure? I did again share this with man I finally spoke to. I had been calling all over Memphis looking for medication for my son that was backordered from the manufacturer. I called Harbor Town, and they had it in stock. I had my son's nurse call in the prescription and within 2 hours, I received a text it was ready to be picked up. When I got there to pick it up, the associate remembered me call. They will now be my go-to pharmacy. The personal touch is top notch.
