Absolutely the worst customer service that I have ever seen!!! If you call your on a 25 minute hold on average. The pharmacy on several occasions tell you when your order will be ready and it never is. So add at least 45 minutes to your windows of supposedly being ready! And techs are rude never smile and treat you as there doing you a favor to wait on you. Took me along time putting up with this pharmacy, I reached my limit of patience! We do everything we can NOT to shop there anymore. Try calling any Walgreens; sit on the phone for 30-45 minutes. Their pharmacies are notoriously understaffed, which means wait times in the store are long as well. We went in for vaccines for an international trip; we had appointments, but mine wasn't in the system. We waited 45 minutes for them to give us 2 shots that took all of 3 minutes. read more

There are a lot of problems with this pharmacy - they don't always look for items covered by your insurance and they sometimes preferentially substitute Walgreens branded generic items rather than ask if you have a preference. My latest complaint is that they filled my Paxlovid prescription with a box that had already expired. Why not just shut down this pharmacy? I'm sure the headache and liability from lawsuit(s) will one day outweigh any possible potential for profitability. This Walgreens pharmacy can't be bothered to check expiration dates! read more

This Walgreens has been the best ever! Yes, they are dealing with short staff issues in the pharmacy but overall they're really professional and nice to you. The pharmacists are beyond amazing and they've helped me so much between fighting insurance and getting my prescriptions on time! The king waits are worth it and they're truly family when you're always there. The wait is worth it if you're here every week! Prescription was filled wrong. Short three days of doses for liquid antibiotic. The pharmacist was rude and tried to argue irrational things to cover their error. Refused to refund or fix the issue. Will never ever go here again. Med errors are not rare. But, the disrespectful nature of this pharmacist makes me think they don't care about their errors. read more

Never using Walgreens again. Trust me, go elsewhere. Wait times changed, told the same excuse hours later, then on top of that they close the pharmacy while they knew I was sitting there waiting for a post-operative pain med to be filled!! Dropped the ball and caused literal pain and suffering because of it. When I asked the pharmacist why he closed through their plastic barrier, he said go to a 24 hr!! He is insecure and is constantly touting that he has such and such many years of experience as a pharmacist... Difficult to ask questions and talk to as he takes it as a challenge and personal insult to his knowledge and is constantly defending himself instead of giving customer service. I went to Walgreens to pick up a prescription of vitamin D and another one of levothyroxine which they have filled up in the past as soon as mine ran out. I have one levothyroxine left so I went to the store to get my prescription. As I come to find out in the front desk, my prescription was not ready and the attended in front of me said it would take 2 hours to refill it. I was upset, I get very sleepy without the medication for my thyroid. I started asking questions of why and how come it would take so long. The boy who helped seemed like he was in training, which I completely understand. He could not answer but repeat that" it was not ready, and it would take 2 hours." I went to the front of the store and asked to talk to the pharmacy manager, as I am walking back, to my surprise, the man , Nickelson, was the man that was in the computer right by the side of my attendant. He did not address me or my questions even thou he saw the attendant struggling and he saw me getting more frustrated by the minute. The manager was the silent listening to the conversation. This is not a proactive, helping and present manager. Nickelson supposed to be a positive force for the pharmacy employees and help them. Unhappy costumers are a hinder to any business. Nickleson watch me and this boy struggle and did not step in to explain or help. The manager of the store 4994 in lake forest, Nickleson could have address this situation in so many ways. He left his employee in a hard position and left a frustrated customer with no answers. I had had my prescription in Walgreens for a while, but I do not wish to go back to that store. read more

COVID is really not an excuse for a lack of staffing in 2023. The wait for the pharmacy is ALWAYS ridiculous, no matter the time of day. Who has an hour to wait in line? I was in last night shopping when I hear a younger guy yelling at a customer because he accidentally walked behind the counter things escalated quickly. The guy was speaking so disrespectfully to a CUSTOMER. He then told his manager on duty he couldn't take care of the guy he was yelling at and I believe the manager on duty (Cheryl) had to deescalate things. I asked her what his name was and she said jose. Cheryl was very sweet and made things better but super unprofessional of Jose. read more

This is review is for the pharmacy. The people are for nice, patient and professional. They are very busy I assume because of their proximity to the Baylor medical complex but recently they've been extra busy because of labor issue. They're short handed in the pharmacy and they've only been serving people at the drive thru. No walk in's at the store are accepted. And o have been there a couple times over the last 2 weeks and the line has been around the building. I here it will be solved soon. read more

My review is pretty much the same as every recent review of this particular pharmacy: 1. The inside pharmacy was closed. 2. The drive-through line stretched more than halfway around the building and I waited 45 minutes to pick up two prescriptions. 3. They are neglecting to process prescriptions through insurance, thus requiring me to phone the pharmacy and remind them to process insurance so that the prescription can be filled. 4. Very long hold times and multiple hang ups while holding 5. Common prescription meds not in stock. The pharmacist continues to indicate that they're short staffed---over two months now. The service is such that they really should not be operating. The pharmacy staff must be completely demoralized. read more

Worst pharmacy I have ever been to!!! This is my fourth trip to pick up my prescriptions due to long wait times and the pharmacy being closed at 2pm. Apparently, the inside pharmacy is always closed, so the only option is the drive thru. When I pulled up, there were 5 cars in front of me. I have now been waiting in line 45 minutes and there are still 2 cars in front of me. I would rather drive to the pharmacy across town than come back to this location. read more

I've tried to make it work at this pharmacy due to proximity to my home and frequency of RX's I need. It is seriously the worst. Today was the last straw. The inside pharmacy is closed. I waited in the drive thru line for one hour. When we pulled up at 5:29, the rep said the drive thru is now closed HOWEVER the hours on the window state they close at 6pm. This location is unacceptable and is the thief of time. I'm moving my business across the street to Apollo Pharmacy. I would advise everyone who values service and quality to avoid this pharmacy at all costs. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Pharmacy is closed on the inside indefinitely. 7 cars in line at all times and it takes 20 minutes per car. This is a new store!! Very clean and friendly. The store is fully stocked makeup selection. There spot. The store is very well lit. And so many great sales. They were quick to call for more help when there was three people in line. Also, had to drop off a prescription. It will be ready in 1.5 hours this is much better that other stores. I purchased 2 items on 09/10/22 for a total of $I 52.48. I asked for a receipt but was told I have virtual receipt that will be emailed to me. I needed to return the 2 items unused unopened. I grab the wrong things (Olay red boxes look similar). On 9/13/22 I tried to return the items for a refund but the beyond rude cashier told me I needed a receipt. I explained that I was not given a receipt and it was never emailed to me. I asked if he could use my phone number to look up the receipt, I entered my phone number and he said he did not see the receipt. He rudely asked me to step out of line so he could take care of other customers. I showed him my bank transactions from Walgreens for $52.48 on 9/10/22 but he did not care. I overheard him talking to another employee saying that i probably didn't buy those items from Walgreens. I called the corporate Walgreens number and the rep I spoke with had no problems finding the receipt using the same phone number I used with the cashier. I was treated like I had stole items from Walgreens. I will never purchase another item from Walgreens. This has been the worse experience. I should not have to spend 40mins being treated like a criminal just to get a refund on items that I never received a receipt for! read more

While Checking out I was informed, I could only purchase 1 of the 2 bottles of alcohol due to a purchase restriction. I was advised of this policy by the Sean the cashier. Sean said it was 1 bottle per household per day. I explained my purchase was separate from the person I entered the store with; therefore the 1 bottle per household Applied. I was prepared to verify the difference addresses until Sean became extremely rude. Sean kept 1 bottle behind the counter and handed me the other. the customer behind us in line purchased the bottle of alcohol and Sean handed to me. He however didn't put the bottle that was purchased in the bag with the other purchased items. When questioned about the missing bottle from the bag of purchased items he, insinuate by his tone & body language that I was trying to steal the bottle of alcohol. I continuously explaining that the customer behind us in line had picked up the item to purchase it. She told him she was buying it. I feel my treatment is directly linked to my skin color. Every time a person of color enters into the store, the front cashier calls out a code over the intercom system, requesting customer assistance to the aisle the person stops on. The customer just entered the store they do not need assistance yet. The female manager witnessed the interaction and did not intervene. Her leadership and management skills are lackluster and horrible. Any manager who permits her team members to behave in this manner is ready to be a manager yet. Every employee is the face of Walgreen, these faces exposed the company to litigation and a social media nightmare. These sort of poor customer level interactions can not to be overlooked at the district, regional and corporate offices. Counter service is fair to excellent. Copay lower than CVS or Walmart. Telephone prescription system is terrible. I called 972-548-4662 (The number on my pill bottle) on 7-8-2017 at 12:45 by cell phone. I went thru the phone routine. The voice recognition system had trouble with commands. It didn't recognize my keypad entries. I tried it again on a land line with the same results. I waited for an operator. Got a recording that said all operators were busy etc. After 10 minutes recording said " hang on only one caller ahead of you" at 20 minutes changed to "all operators are busy with other callers. Decided there was no future in trying to place my order by phone and hung up. Created an online account and logged on. Placed my order in 5 minutes. They claim to be using a new phone system. It used to be possible to place orders with the old one. However much they paid for the one they have now, it was too much. "User hostile" describes it. We make a lot of trips where phone is the only way to order. The present system is unusable. The elevator music is terrible and goes on forever with the same nauseating tune. Fix the phone ordering system!!! read more

This is specifically for the location at Hwy 380 in McKinney, TX. We were able to make an appointment on the website for this location for a Flu Shot at 9:00 am. We showed up at 8:55 and as we walked in, the person at the counter, at the front, saw the papers in our hands and said "the pharmacy doesn't open until 9:00", first red flag, to which we continued on and said,"we know, our appointment is for 9:00." We sat down in the chairs provided and at 9:01 the gates on the windows went up and the lady wearing the white coat (we assumed she was the Pharmacist or technician) said, "Can we help you?" We told her we had a 9:00 appointment for flu shots. She said, " I won't be able to deal with you until 9:30 or 9:45." We were confused and my husband said,"We made an appointment for 9:00." To which she said "You don't understand,I have to help people so I can't see you until then." So, we said we'd come back, totally dumbfounded. We didn't go back. We went to the Walgreens on Eldorado in McKinney and got in 15 minutes later. All the workers at the Eldorado store were extremely nice and respectful and professional. My guess is that the Pharmacist is run ragged by trying to fill prescriptions and give shots but she needs to take it up with management. I don't think their industry was hit as hard as so many others and they could stand to hire and train more people! read more

This Walgreens location hit the jackpot when they hired their employees. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. There's one gal who can direct you to any item in the store , including the shelf it's on. So refreshing to have a warm friendly getting and a smile when you enter and shop.
