This pharmacy is a total disaster. My insurance approved a 90 day supply of a medicine. For some odd reason, this pharmacy will only fill a 30 day supply. Then, they sent me an email saying it was ordered but delayed. I constantly was checking on this, and then finally after two weeks, I call and they respond that there's no order in the system. After they already emailed me to say it was ordered by delayed. No one needs this aggravation. Sheer incompetence at this store. Do not bother with this place. read more

I purchased an apple gift card. When I got home to redeem it the code had 5 numbers scratched off. Took back to Walgreens they had me e-mail them photo's which I did they said they would review them. Two days later they said we do not give refunds, that is there policy. Why did you have me send copies of everything. There policy is call Apple. Did that got nowhere. If you are sick and need your medication filled, avoid this Walgreens like the plague, they are rude, ignorant and they lie to people. I am filing a complaint with my insurance and the state of Illinois department of aging. I would advise anyone else having problems with them to do the same thing. read more

It is what it is. The staff is hit and miss. I've noticed that the pharmacy staff tends to be rude and unhelpful, while the cashiers are usually really nice and ready to answer questions. This particular Walgreen's doesn't usually restock very often, though. It's not uncommon to come back for something a few days, a week, a week and a half later, and have them still not have something in. Ultimately, it's an okay place. It's clean, at least. read more

I had a prescription filled and when I was setting up ,y prescription for the following day did I see where the drug expired 3 months ago. Called and there was no apology at all, no explanation as to how this medication is still on the shelf. read more

This one's for the pharmacy! This pharmacy is ALWAYS busy and I wish people would understand how hard their job is. Jen and Greg were helping me today and were so kind, friendly and upbeat. Honestly, it only takes a friendly staff to change someones day. I was having a rough morning and they made it better! I also wish more people understood that the automated system is not their fault! They can only control so much, and do a wonderful job at keeping smiling faces on. I will absolutely be coming to this Walgreens from now on. read more

Terrible store! The store manager Dennis is horrible. I tried to return 2 knee braces that I had purchase the previous day from the Walgreens by my job. (in Chicago) This place is close to my home, so I figure I would just return them here. Well when it came time for someone to help me, Dennis said he would. I didn't have my receipt but I knew that wouldn't be a problem. Walgreens will give you a store credit gift card if you don't have the receipt for the items you purchased. Dennis asked me what store did I purchase them from and said he would call the store. WTF! Why do you need to "verify" if I purchased this product?! Then he proceeded to tell me that I had to "take them back to the WALGREENS store that I bought them from. I'm not going to go into a long story but you can best believe, I'm not letting this go and I AM CONTACTING THE CORPORATE OFFICE! Ridiculous!!!!! BTW, I took them back to the store I purchased them from and had no problem getting my refund. (without the receipt). I will never step foot in this store again! read more

Not happy with the following: Today I got a phone call stating to come and pick up my prescription so after work I go through the drive-thru pick up my prescription and go home. Upon arriving home I find that they've given me another prescription on top of the one I was supposed to pick up the prescription they gave me was one that I told them over a week ago I no longer take. I also went online and cancelled all refills and the prescription itself. So I call Walgreens and was told there was nothing they could do because the medication has already left even though I told them more than once I no longer take this medication they didn't seem to care they didn't seem to want to try to fix the issue or anything at all. so now I will call my credit card and cancel the charge. read more

My wife called to refill a prescription at the 3564 Ridge Road location. They told her it would be ready at 10:00AM on Thursday, July 22. Prior to going to pick it up, she checked online to see if it was ready. It wasn't. She called the pharmacy and they told her it would be 1:00PM. She arrived at 1:30, waited another 25 minutes, and the pharmacist (Winter) came out and told her it was too early to refill. In the middle of their conversation, she walked away while my wife was talking. I have never seen ruder treatment in my life. This happens almost every month she tries to refill a prescription. STORE MANAGEMENT IS NO BETTER. It is the worst run pharmacy I have ever seen. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. Drive the extra 10 or 15 minutes to Munster or Highland. I will be with it not having to deal with the incompetent staff at this location. read more

Rude pharmacy staff. So she had to call the 800 number to verify benefits on my new card. Is that a big deal? She acted like it was really inconvenient. I work in a laboratory and I have to call Dr offices all the time for our patients to get information. It's part of my job. And pleasant customer service is part of my job. I guess Walgreens Pharmacy doesn't have the same requirements for their staff. read more

This Walgreens pharmacy will have automated system tell you your prescription will be ready at a certain time then call you 5 minutes before that time to tell you there was an unexpected delay well it's been 2 weeks and I'm still waiting at this point my vertigo has subsided and I no longer even need the medication. Do yourself a favor if you truly need your medication (sarcasm) drive 5 minutes further to Osco. read more

the Walgreens across from bakers square is ridiculous. the pharmacy team has rotten customer service. they told me a prescription was going to be 20 minutes and ended up taking an hour. don't Tell me 20 Minutes when it is actually an hour wait. and they were rude about it to boot. going elsewhere and going to convince my bf to go elsewhere too. read more

The pharmacy is hit or miss but lets be honest, I go to the pharmacy at least once a month so with more interaction comes more room for things to not go smooth every time. I did have a bad experience with one of their pharmacists not filling my prescription properly and yada yada huge inconvenience and a day without meds-I was not happy...BUT I've lived in Lansing for over 30 years and I recognize one face from when I was a kid going to Walgreens-that's Jennifer in the pharmacy. She promised to take care of me and she did. She was able to get my prescription filled and called me back within 2 hours to let me know. It is nice to see a familiar face and to know she truly cared. Thank you Jennifer! read more

The actual store is fine! No problems! And in the pharmacy there a FEW wonderful staff... but that's IT! I have a prescription that I pick up every single month and initially things were great! But for the last maybe 6 months it has been an issue! I would go elsewhere but their hours and price are good! Today I picked up through the drive thru, which I NEVER do because even when no other cars are there it's like a 20min ordeal, but today seemed quick. Then the woman sends the script and receipt, say not a WORD to me until I start to drive away. Apparently there was a tiny receipt I was supposed to sign. She couldn't be bothered to tell me that of course. I tell her I don't see it and that maybe it blew away. She rolls her eyes, asks if her pen is there, and walks away. I assumed she was printing a new one. 15 min later I am STILL waiting when someone else comes to ask how he can help me, I tell him what had happened and he says "oh we can't reprint that, don't worry about it. She went on break." I ask to speak to her manager, explain how my time was wasted, and all she says is "I'm sorry but we can't reprint it so don't worry about signing." I tell her again what the REAL problem is and she says "maybe she didn't know it blew away." I was like "well I told her might have!".... so the manager is defending this HORRIBLE customer service! She FINALLY says she will talk to the girl but I won't hold my breath. I will be finding another pharmacy. This is just ONE example of what I have been dealing with for months and I'm DONE!! read more
