On this day, I was taking a 10-year-old daughter who lost her police officer father in the line of duty on a belated Christmas shopping trip to honor her loss. Sadly, Ulta didn't feel the same way, as shown by the treatment towards her and those accompanying her that day. I had tried calling for two weeks before our trip to Ulta to speak to the GM to see if they could make her day special by offering her a discount or some beauty samples, but the manager was never available. Based on the rude attitude I received on the phone every time I called, I doubt my messages were passed on to her. This should have been a premonition of how our visit would go. Our only shining light that day was Danielle. She was wonderful! She helped us throughout our shopping experience, giving us ideas of what our 10-year-old guest might like and taking us straight to the register to ring us up. She was truly lovely and is a benefit to the Ulta brand. Things only went down from here on out. The rudest person was the sales girl wearing a white top and short, messy brown hair who was ringing up customers next to us. She purposely yelled and was super loud to drown out Danielle's and mine conversation so we couldn't hear each other. She kept frowning at me and those with me. I found out afterward that while we were checking out, this girl approached my party, standing at the front of the store, and told them in the meanest way that they were blocking customers, which they were not, and they needed to leave. By this time, we had been joined by our special guest, a local, very well-known police officer who told her she was insulting and he wanted to speak to the manager. When the manager, Kristi, came over, she defended her staff but acknowledged she knew who the officer was and didn't make them move. Kristi then came over to me, and I again asked if there was anything she could do for our guest. She was adamant that Ulta couldn't even give her one beauty sample! I couldn't believe that Ulta wouldn't do one thing for this child who lost her father and sacrificed his life for others. I'd like you to know that I have been taking children on shopping trips like these for 7 years, and your store is the ONLY one that has never offered anything to a child. You should be ashamed of yourselves. In December, I took two teenage sisters to Sephora, and they tripped over themselves helping us! They gave the girls two bags filled to the top with samples, and they were thrilled! It doesn't take much to make these kids happy, but it also doesn't take much to show them that they don't matter. The only thing I would recommend is actually giving a sample here or there of the fragrances, especially during the holidays and having someone available to show the fragrances that knows what they're talking about because they keep their fragrances locked in cabinets and you can't even smell them to see which one you want to purchase.

I feel it was a bad batch and should be sent back to the originating seller as defective. Bottom line, the owner of SO NICE was unrelenting in the idea that he was not willing, in no form, to assist me in getting replacement hair. I explained my position and that I understood his position to not give me free hair. that was never my request. My last attempt was in asking him to give me the early bird discount of 10%. Dr…read more Jordan prepped two teeth for crowns yesterday, putting two temp crowns on with ease but later in the evening, my top lip starting swelling a little bit. I wrote it off because there was a bit of soreness from the numbing injections. Well, this morning my top lip, on that side, was swollen and it was sticking out about half an inch (see photos)!! I called the office at 8:21 and had to leave a voice message. 1:00 rolls around & no one called me back , so I called back. Left another message. One of his staff finally called me back just to say another staff member needs to call me... fine, that's okay. 3:38, I call back and a live person does answer but by this time I was livid. The person I spoke to told me to come on in & they would see me. One of his assistants said to me, "well, the lady that was suppose to call you back had been very busy with patients" and I prompted said that I'm a patient too! Now, my pharmacy closes at 4:30 so at 4:26, Dr. Jordan said he would call them so I had to fly like a bat out'ta hell to get there in time! I have NEVER had any swelling before so I don't know what has caused it this time. Dr. Jordan said it may be ulcers trying to form at the injection sites.... how & why?!?! Like I said, I don't have an issue with Dr. Jordan and I'll keep going back but I had better have nothing but positive experiences from now on! P.S. After X-rays revealed the root canal next to the affected tooth wasn't far from the same fate, we decided to remove both. When it comes to dental stuff, COWARD is my motto, and the Doc made sure the procedure was as painless as possible. He was exceptionally patient, took the time necessary (and with me, much time) for the area to become numb, and continually asked how I was doing during the entire op.
