Due to the lack of grocery stores in the surrounding area, a lot of people use this particular drugstore as a grocery store. Because of that, there is rarely an open parking space, especially later in the day or in the evening.
The pharmacy department is about as slow as they come. There is usually a long hold time if you call, a long line at the drive-thru, and a long line inside waiting to get prescriptions filled. They are not in any hurry to fill your prescription, whatsoever. If you really need a prescription filled faster at a Walgreens, I would really choose the Canton Mart Road location or the location in Madison off of 463.
The staff that work inside of the actual store are actually very friendly and welcoming. The store has plenty of space and they're usually stocked with the things that you need from a drug store.
But if you need a prescription filled and are in a hurry to get it filled, choose another location or another store. read more
