I usually shop at Walgreens for my prescriptions, and I am very grateful to the pharmacists that they have employed there. On a couple occasions, prescriptions were mixed up and immediately the pharmacist called me and said there's a problem, you shouldn't do this, you shouldn't take this with that and you need to contact your doctor to make sure that this is what you're supposed to take. They're always extremely busy, but I appreciated the time and effort it took for the pharmacist to catch an error that could have possibly caused a problem for my health. They're always very professional very friendly and very busy. I believe that they care about their customers and their health cause I'm sure I'm not the only one that they've caught a mistake. They said reminders on prescriptions that need to be filled or when it's close to time to being refilled. The store is always very neat and clean the staff members usually there's one or two they're always friendly and very helpful. I like this particular Walgreens on Hudson Avenue store number 04400 because they are friendly and treat you like they've known you forever. Very well trained staff. read more

The pharmacist was rude and disrespectful to a sick family member today and refused to fill scripts unless ALL we transferred to Walgreens. I do NOT appreciate having my family member spoken to in this manner and perhaps, she should take a course in civilized customer service!!! read more

Do not try calling the pharmacy if you can help it. Their AI system is a nightmare. They will do anything to avoid having you talk to a human. When you go into the pharmacy at the back they are always acting harassed and unfriendly. There has to be a better place. read more

An iinsulin dependent diabetic, I had been using One-Touch Ultra test strips and lancets for several years when a female employee told me they were no longer covered by medicare. She then switched me over to the Walgreen's brand of equipment which is more cumbersome and harder to use. Fed up, I called Medicare and discovered that the girl had lied to me and One-Touch was still covered. The arrogance and ignorance of this girl, upsetting my daily routine just so she could score some browny points was inconsiderate and unforgiveable. read more

I just wanted to ask if they carry something Eye spray. kept telling me to search on line, after several attempts - gave me pharmacy- which gave me someone else - couldn't understand person in pharmacy - the next lady was very helpful. You really need to change/revamp your system. Absolutely horrible pharmacy. There is ALWAYS an issue. If I could give 0 stars I would. I called in a refill on a prescription 5 days ago and I've attempted to pick it up 3 times on 3 different days since then and every time I get there they tell me they're still working on it. I'll be heading back for the 4th time this afternoon and I'm hoping it's ready but I've already decided I'm moving to another store for my prescriptions. Be prepared for awful service and disrespectful staff. If you have a chronic illness that requires regular dispensation of medication, find another pharmacy or specifically check that your meds are in stock before you let these people touch your prescription. If your medication is high strength, be prepared to be treated like a drug addict seeking their next high. Do you like paying three times the cost of your meds?.. GREAT NEWS! This Walgreens will partially fill your meds and make you pay full price. Want the rest of your prescription, guess you'd better go back to your doctor for another script. Oh, and don't forget you'll need to pay full price for it... again, but the store will still screw it up anyway. So get used to it. But wait.... Did you think you could just complain and the management will help?!?.... NOPE!!!!! I tried that, and instead I was met with a regional manager with an attitude that repeatedly made excuses for her staff and kept feeding the blame for the experience back on me. Classy! This pharmacy is too big for its own panties. They do not care for one moment about their customers or the experience they are providing. This addresses the poor excuse of the pharmacy at this location. Two of the pharmacy techs, who I won't mention by name but know who they are. I'll just refer to the as Grumps. They like to yield more power that they have. We recently changed our prescriptions to Publix because of them. Yesterday topped it off. Husband tested positive for COVID on a home test with symptoms. His Dr recommended going to Walgreens to be tested and get Paxlovid. Appointments were made yesterday at 8 am with confirmation for later in the day. We arrived at the appointed time with no cars in the drive thru only to have Grump tell us there were no appointments, they were done testing for the day. I tried to show confirmation, she wouldn't look. Told us to leave the drive-thru (still no cars) and come back in 10 minutes. Still no cars in the drive thru and we came back in 8 minutes. Grump informed us it hadn't been 10 minutes yet and we'd need to leave again. When we finally were able to get tested I asked about the 2 hour turn around time advertised on their website as well as our conformation and Grump said NO could take up to 24 hours. Here we are Labor Day husband still in bed and I'm feeling pretty rough myself. No results and the pharmacy isn't open today. Agree with all comments. Plus, they make mistakes in dispensing meds. Check carefully. As an RN, I'm somewhat versed in dispensing meds. I've argued with them about instructions. They tend to give out misinformation. They also have issues with insurance coverage. They constantly tell me I have an insurance problem. Im looking to change my program. read more

I was extremely sick and no one would answer the phones at the walk in clinic. So, I decided to drive there and I went straight to the pharmacy to ask for recommendations on what to buy and seas dissatisfied with the service, as well as the pharmacists reaction and shortness with me. I like Walgreen's, but I will never go to this store again. The pharmacist let me wander for twenty minutes sick in the aisle when she could have helped me in less than a minute. I went in to pickup prescriptions and they were ready .. enough said.. People post a bad Yelp review of the place after one experience that did not go their way. Get over yourselves. These people are underpaid and overworked and just because you cant find the cough medicine on your own you write a bad review of an overworked employee. Went to my local Walgreens for an item I have been purchasing there for a year or so and could not find it on the shelf. After several minutes of looking, I finally found an employee who I asked about the item. I was curtly told the store was recently "reset" and if the item was not there, they no longer would be carrying it. Ok, no problem, I get it. I picked up several other items and proceeded to the check out. For some reason the card scanner could not read my card. After several attempts, I requested the cashier to simply run the card as a credit card. She then told me that she wasn't allowed to do that???? Mind you , I have a credit score of 827. I left my items at the register, went across the street to CVS and was able to purchase everything I needed with no problems at the check out. the ladys at the cosmedics counter are super helpfull on several occasions they have helped me out with various things going out of there way to do the right thing. this is also my pharmacy which is good but sometimes they can be a bit slow. read more
