Right on the corner of very difficult and busy intersection, although doesn't it seem like every busy intersection in the city in every city in the United States has a big drug store pharmacy on it? I guess it does. The whole nation is addicted to pills, isn't it. But anyway we generally like Walgreens more than any other chain pharmacy, but that doesn't mean that we like them really. I would give this Walgreens zero stars if I could. They accepted my Uber order way before closing time. My Uber driving shows up there to pick it up and they turned him away because it was 12:05am and they closed at 12:00am. Once I called to get my order canceled so I could get my money back -- the man that answered said " Nah, I'm not doing that. That's on you!" I am a manager and I share this because I am hopeful that the owner will consider changing staff after all of these previous negative reviews I have read. Personally, I would be embarrassed if my staff behaved this way. All your staff is doing is pushing more and more people away from Walgreens and to your competitors. read more

The pharmacy employees regularly give out incomplete or wrong information. They told me they couldn't fill my prescription because the medication wasn't in. I called daily to check for when it was in. Once it was in they told me I'd need my doctor to add a note explaining why my prescription was coming in early. Once the note came in they told me my insurance wouldn't cover it because it was too early. Once I said that was fine they said they'd fill it. Then they called me back an hour later saying they can't fill it because it's early. So I've wasted over a week and daily calls to get told what I should have been told on my first call to the pharmacy. I should have moved to the target pharmacy on Shearn sooner. read more

Items are NEVER in stock. Something as simple as a Sprite... not a single bottle to be found. Need a pint of milk, maybe some tortilla chips, or simple over the counter allergy medicine? Well don't come here. Cooler doors are always janky and broken, so you have to open each one up to even see what's inside. To the "pharm tech" black guy with short dreads you need to work on your attitude. I don't care if you're standing in express pick up or not, when a customer walks up to you, you pay attention to them even if they're not there to pick up. You're a Walgreens worker, not just some idiot that hands out medications, anybody can do that. If someone asks where something is, at least act like you care. Most people coming into pharmacies have health issues and you need to be mindful of that. Worst pharmacy EVER! Don't bring you prescriptions here, this seems to be a training store and it's stressful on customers. On Saturday my prescription was being processed and when I came to pick them out today, they said I had none ready. I was even able to download a coupon from my prescription that was being processed. This is after waiting for four days for them to process my insurance. How the crack does a pharmacy loose a prescription? Walgreens change you training store to another location because I'm tired of all the screw ups in this store. When I call to find out the status, they just put you on hold. Two weeks ago with my other prescription they took three days to process a prescription I get once a month and it was on hold for three day's waiting for insurance approval, but I walked in and they processed immediately. Now they tell me that a coupon that is attached to my prescription on their app is not good at this location, it's good at other Walgreens but not this one. This is insane, let the try to pull this shit with my new insurance. I've been told with this new insurance if they give me crack and I complain tho the insurance company, they will pull all their customers from this place and they'd lose billions of dollars in revenue. Great store. Very clean and there's always someone on hand to help and you're always greeted when you enter. Everyone is very helpful and I always able to find anything I need in here. The older lady help me looked for some school supplies! I got a great deal on sharpened pencils for $.99! In my world it's a bargain! It was the good kind of pencils too! Will be back! read more

Scheduled 9:30am appt to get a shot, nurse doesn't even show up until 10:00am. Had to reschedule appointment. If your nurse isn't coming in until a certain time, try not having time slots open before that for customers to book. Very unprofessional. read more

Customer service at this location is terrible. Drive-through has two lanes and it appears they only can work one lane at a time while one. Customer is fumbling define what they looking for. This is mistakenly labelled a drugstore. It's really a 24-hour convenience store with a pharmacist on duty. I'm disappointed with the current (new?) business model of the major "drugstore" chains. They have decided to morph into convenience stores, giving up shelf space for hard-to-find medical/healthcare items. Or even common ones. I guess they figured out that people fight against having the "traditional" 24-hour convenience stores in their neighborhoods because they are too "sleazy". So instead of being able to buy toothbrush heads at Walgreens, I need to fight the crowds at Target. And those hard to find items? Like Buff Puff exfoliant sponges or betadine cleansing wash? You can find those in a REAL drugstore, but I haven't found one in the greater Houston metro area. Yet. The word "Walgreens" certainly won't appear above it's doors. Because when a drunk couple stumbles out of a Walgreens at 3am with cigarettes, malt liquor, condoms, and personal lubricant--well, it's a drugstore. So it's classy. read more

Incompetent Medical Clinic On June 20, took my ailing wife in to the Walgreens clinic, thinking she might have flu but really just trying to see what the issue was. Fever, Serious aches, Headaches, ongoing for over a week. The NP did a flu test and then sent her home telling her it was 'viral' and it would pass. In and out in 5 minutes. Two days later she's in the hospital with a kidney infection. The NP did not bother to test blood or urine. This would have been quickly identified. After a long day...we drove all the way to this Walgreens thinking it was a better Walgreens than others....and this Walgreens did not have their a camera to take passport pictures. To the black female pharmacist working Thursday march 7th at 8PM, GO F**K YOURSELF! Unbelievably unprofessional "woman". I show up at 7:55 and see there is a line in the drive thru so I decide to go inside to pharmacy. To my surprise the pharmacy is already closed indoors and that it is drive thru only. I get back in my car and sit in the drive thru line until I show up at the window. Nobody comes to the window for 5 minutes until I honked (I know she saw me sitting there- again how unprofessional). She finally comes up and tells me that the pharmacy closed at 8. I said okay fine well I was in line. She tells me it closes at 8. I said "your website says 9PM and I just watched you serve the car in front of me" she still says no to which I say "unbelievable." That was all I said until she started cussing me out. Walgreens you need to fire this "woman" as she is a disgrace to your company. Can't believe she has a job with a nasty attitude like that. My good friend parked in the parking lot for just a moment in order to take a photo of the tiny Studemont Spaceway park across the street, and within less than 5 minutes, his car was being hooked up to a tow truck. The driver of the truck forced him go pay 80 dollars to let his car go. Towing would be understandable if the car had been parked for a long time or if my friend had been going to another business, but he had only stopped briefly to take a picture of this tiny park which to my understanding, does not have any parking of it's own. This crosses the line. It is bad business for a drug store to pretend to care about people and yet contract a predatory tow company and send them to tow cars at the drop of a hat . What if my friend had been experiencing car trouble or some other emergency? For all practical purposes, he could have been planning to go to the Walgreens after taking a picture. Waiting not even 5 minutes before having a car towed is completely absurd. My friend has moved all of his prescriptions from Walgreens to CVS and in solidarity, I am doing the same. This Walgreens needs to admit that they are wrong. read more

Regular, convenient Walgreens. Nothing more, nothing less. We come here most often for the redbox, and we are not alone in that. There is often a line to pick out a movie or return one- its that popular. There is a problem with the behavior of the redbox customers in that they tend to park in the fire lane adjacent to the store. That messes up the traffic flow and makes it hard for people who parked in appropriate places to pull in and out of. Its a regular problem here. This place is walking distance to my apartment so we walk the dog here to get a redbox, or to pick up something quickly that I do not want to drive to the market to get. The pharmacy can be a long wait after work. The pharmacists also lack some diligence. They did not have a prescription I needed once and told me it would be in the next day. The next day they said that it would come in the next day. At my insistence they checked and found that it had come in. Not sure if that is a training issue or a function of how busy they were at that time. If you come here for generic medicine, check out the HEB generic program instead. HEB has $5 generics, this places charges more commercial prices. read more

Drain the pharmacist swamp!!! I have never been treated with such disrespect and disregard. My parents were visiting and my dad ended up in the hospital. A few days after he got out we went to pick up a prescription. The tech lied to blue cross and shield and refused to correct it. The Pharmacist was working nearby and did nothing to correct her employee, she backed her. They sent us to another Walgreens a half hour away. This was all after my father had come from having dialysis. Walgreens should be ashamed!!! It wasn't till after our visit that I read the Yelp reviews. Next time I will read the reviews first. 6/9/16: ughhhhh....here we go again!! I visited my Walgreens Studemont store in order to pick up a prescription (I had previously received a message the day before stating that it was ready). I went to pick up the script this morning at 8:22am and the pharmacy was CLOSED. All the shutters were down and there was no one to be found. I went to the front and spoke with the cashier. I asked him to confirm the time the pharmacy opens and he said 8am, and that the pharmacy manager must have not arrived yet. Burning gas and time to make another trip back there......priceless. read more

Ok it's a Walgreens. I feel like if you've been to one you been to them all. Sterile. Horrible lighting. That "Walgreens" standard smell. Horrible 90s adult contemporary music in the background. The reason I'm giving it such a low rating is their pharmacy is probably the slowest one I've ever encountered. I waited 30 mins in line just to pick up a regular prescription. They seem severely understaffed in the pharmacy. After the pain for enduring the long waits month over month, I'm transferring my prescription to the Gray Street location which is a little further away from my home but hopefully will save me time in line. read more

Its a Walgreens, so what does anyone really expect to find. I like it because I am not hastled by homeless everytime I walk in, people are friendly, and they actually keep their shelves stocked. They also have a drive thru pharmacy pickup/drop off which is nice as well. They also serve as an easy grocery store for small items that you dont want to have to go to HEB to pick up; toilet paper, chips, soda, and they even have wine and beer (not a bad selection either) All in all, it serves its purpose as a drug store; get in and get out and not get bothered while you are doing it. read more

Gracie, a pharmacy tech, took the time to help me find a discount for an expensive prescription ($300+). I had tried finding discounts for it on my own with no luck. It took a few minutes to find something, but Gracie was patient and in the end found an online discount card that saved me $150! No one else has done that for me. Gracie won my loyalty to say the least. read more
