It was my first time here, so when I entered, I walked straight to the counter to get help for the specific product I was looking for. There was a man working at the counter, who smiled and appeared friendly. When I asked him to direct me to the product I was looking for, it was in one of the center aisles near the register. I stood there browsing the section for the product, and I felt eyes on me. I brushed off the feeling, but when I picked up the item off the shelf and turned around to walk back towards the register, I caught the man starting at me intently. He stood there at the edge of the front counter watching me look at the items on the shelf. I'm not even the type of person to touch things on the shelf, unless I am picking it up to buy it. Also, I wasn't carrying any bags, just a small coin purse. So his need to watch me felt uncomfortable and unnecessary. I still foolishly decided to purchase the product I was looking for, despite being watched like some sort of criminal and despite the product being overpriced. When I got home to use the product, it had already been opened. I didn't bother to take it back to the store because the receipt notes no refunds. What a waste. I won't be back here & don't recommend this place. There are plenty of other beauty supply stores in the area that I can happily spend my money on unopened products without being profiled.

This was honestly one of the best experiences I've had with a beauty supply store. I ordered a…read morelarge quantity of hair color (over 50 bottles total) to be shipped across the country, which normally makes me nervous because leakage is so common. My first order arrived perfectly, which already impressed me. But the second, larger shipment completely exceeded my expectations. Every bottle was carefully packed, separated into smaller boxes so nothing would move, and even individually sealed at the caps. I've never seen that level of attention to detail before. On top of that, Chris went out of his way to help me track down a very specific version of the product I needed, even contacting other stores. He was communicative, honest, and genuinely cared about getting it right. He also included extra items and even additional bottles, which was such a thoughtful surprise. It's rare to find this kind of care and integrity in a business. I will definitely be coming back.

I entered the store, wig cap affixed to my head with full intentions of purchasing a wig that day. After not being offered any help by the "shop assistant" I made my to the wig area in the back of the store to assist myself. Because I knew what I wanted and what I was looking for, I found a wig quickly and proceeded to try it on (with the wig cap that I already had on my head). As soon as I put it on the "shop assistant started screaming at the top of her lungs about how I " needed a wig cap and couldn't touch the the $44 wig without permission..." I and the rest of the customers in the store could only look at her like she was crazy because... she had to be out of her mind. I still needed a wig so, even with all of her obnoxiousness and rudeness, I politely questioned her about other wigs in the store. She was completely unhelpful, short, and frankly aggressive. I gave her the wig back and left. I'm not spending money where I don't feel welcomed. If they didn't want to make money they should have let me know when I walked in. This place wasn't my first choice and it won't be my last. This place has several variety of things I sometimes spend a whole 30 minutes in this place because they have so much stuff to choose from. The customer service is amazing everything is shelved neatly and no messing like other beauty supply stores I've been to.
