Worst pharmacy department. Pharmacist is incredibly incompetent. Extremely rude................

Customer service at the pharmacy was absolutely horrible. I was a customer for four years and it just got worse and worse and a tech told me "you should go to Walmart" she said it over and over so that's what I did. read more

Don't expect your prescription to be ready when you arrive. It doesn't matter if it's been in the system for 10 minutes or 2 hours. You always get the "we just received the order, in will be ready in an hour!". SUCKS! Now I understand why so many Walgreens stores are closing! read more

If the truth hurts, don't blame the people writing the reviews. Look in the mirror to see what you're doing wrong and fix it. I've stopped using Walgreens, PERIOD. For me, it wasn't just the long waits and messed up orders. It was being lied to. If I could give negative stars I would. I just went there after waiting several days to get all my prescriptions (because i refuse to go every day for a week) at 5:15pm only to find that the PHARMACY WAS CLOSED because there WASN'T A PHARMASIST. WTF. You'd think a drug store would have... you know...PHARMASITS and DRUGS and not have to wait an extra day for a truck to arrive. I HATE this place. Same story for 4+ years, Same excuses and no improvements. If my insurance would work with Walmart I'd happily do business there. I'm going to find a different Walgreens that actually provides service, if it exists. read more

If I could give a ZERO I would. This pharmacy is the WORST, the employees know NOTHING and can't fill prescriptions. The staff is incompetent, rude and give false information. You are better of getting your needs elsewhere. It will take MONTHS of the run around to end up not getting your prescription filled. Literally the worst multiple experiences of my life. read more

Hopefully the lack of a manager during the week walks out permanently.. the dark haired girl with the pony tail. After people were waiting for prescriptions for over a hour. She would tell them your prescription is ready, go to the end of the line... that without exaggeration was 40 minutes long. Is this the new woke culture? I said no, the .... ripped up my prescription and said find a new pharmacy. Thank you for the advice. Never been treated so rude as a customer. I apologize to the staff to be in that miserable environment with her, you deserve better. Not to mention I'm diabetic and was without medication for 4 days. The new pharmacy didn't have it in stock. Hartford was late 3 day on top of this originally. Hartford had recieved the package 3 days earlier but never put it in stock. Lousy management plain and simple. The dingbat should have said days prior, why hasn't this been recieved yet. My apologies to the staff for her and thank you for your hard work. read more

The Walgreens Pharmacy on Sumner Street in Hartford is by far the worst Pharmacy I have ever been to. The staff (outside of the Pharmacist Mgr) is rude and they do not thank you for your business. They act as if they are doing you a favor by filling your prescription. Additionally, I have gone there multiple times when I have been told my prescription would be filled at a certain time, only to have to return multiple times before it has been filled. I would rate them a 0 if I had the option. read more

Worst Walgreens ever. A one handed monkey with a bad eye, could deliver better service. This particular pharmacy is a disgrace to the good name of Walgreens. Not only do their ' pharmacy technicians' have No concept of the medications they are handling, they are completely unprofessional. I was in one particular day, they were fumbling with my insurance ( as usual), and I saw in the medication racks that about 4 techs were on their cell phones, laughing. And to boot, the cashier/tech checking me out had her phone 'hidden' under the counter and was using it while she had my account up in front her. The pharmacist was talking to me, who seemed to not even know what was going on around him, talked away while this slick little tech was texting on her cell phone. I am in the Healthcare field, so when she was riding me up I boldly said ' I sure hope that my HIPPA sensitive information wasn't involved in your super important text message or Facebook status.' Needless to say that when I have to go into this particular pharmacy, they all walk on glass egg shells. read more

I like this walgreens. It's easy to navigate around the store to easily find items. They have variety which is helpful. Some prices seem high. read more
