You can easily split pretty much anything on the menu with another person and have plenty to eat. The chicken salad is gigantic and it's loaded with chicken, olives, sun-dried tomatoes, cucumbers, feta cheese, etc., etc., etc. And the dressing is amazing! The same salad at that other place has a ton of lettuce, some chicken, feta cheese and 1 olive and they want $2-3 more for it! No thanks. I'll be going here from now on. And it was about 6 o'clock, and it was bone dry, like they were totally out of food. So I said to myself, they must serve breakfast. Very early out here I'll catch them next time. Before all the food is gone, so this time I came out here. It's about 545I went inside and there was no food even put out yet one guy with his back to me cutting up. What appeared to be bacon? And 2, ladies up at the register, one on the customer side, one on the business side. So I waited for them to finish talking. Which was about 4 minutes and then the lady behind the counter, she said, what do you need from me? And I said, well, theoretically, I wanted to get breakfast. But I noticed a sign says Breakfast starts at 6 AM, but there is absolutely no food out. And now it's 5:55 AM, so are you guys catering breakfast from a third party to bring in here or what? And she looked dead in my eyeballs and said, so what do you want from me? So I just looked straight up into the air, and I looked back down at her and I said, I am sorry that I bothered you.And I walked out. So I went back inside at 10 minutes after 6 AM. Amazingly, there was still 0 food out on display, so now I will look up into the sky. And I look back down, and there is another lady. Waiting for food also, she says she came in at 5 AM. No, food. So then she just now came back in right before I came back in. And she said she had been waiting here for 5 minutes. So she walked in about 6:05. So we talked back-and-forth about how a customer service is. Is declining meaning going downhill year after year after year? It is hard to find good help. It is hard to find people that take pride in themselves and take pride in what they do. Is just getting harder to find good people? And how when we were growing up and we had our first jobs, how we took pride in what we did, we tried to excel every day at the job that we were doing. But how most people, not all people. But most people nowadays Just don't give a rats behind how they perform what they look like who says, what about their performance? They just don't care. So we waited for about ten minutes.Just talking back and forth until finally, the cook came back and told us how he is the only one working back here.And it's hard for him and have a breakfast.Should be ready around seven or a little after seven a m. So I sympathize with anybody who has to work by themselves. However, I know in many jobs. I also had to instill to this day. Have to work by myself. So I know that it's up to me in all of those situations, to maybe come in a little bit earlier to maybe work. A little bit faster to maybe do a little bit better. Every day so that I can accommodate whatever it is that I am doing for a living. And that guy's situation He might need to come in 15 minutes earlier. He might need to move a whole lot faster than he's moving. Because he moves in slow motion from what I could see by my observation of his slow motion movement as for the cashier. With the extremely smart mouth, she just needs to fire herself. And find a job that does not deal with people at all. Because if we had to rate her on customer service, she would get a negative 10. Just rude from the top to the bottom. So I'm not really leaving a bad review for Petro travel center. I'm leaving a bad review for the truck. Fuel island customer service at the counter and where they serve the food. Because it is terrible and insult the injury. I just went to Walmart 2 days ago. I have food in the truck and I have things to cook. The food in the truck but I was pressed for time And I thought to myself, why not just go in and pay an arm?And a leg for breakfast, instead of cooking myself, I learned my lesson.I need to whenever i'm here.Just go ahead and cook for myself.Because if not i'm gonna starve!!!

We also bought 5 different flavors of Boudin which were incredible! Prices were VERY affordable and they had a HUGE selection of beverages and also sold liquor. Service was efficient and there are a few booths where you can sit. We will be back!

This is a cute gas station that I have used on a couple of occasions. My cats like it and so do I. Harley and Mochi kept me company while I was here. The gas prices are really low because it's the part of the world where that is usually the case. It looks clean and new.

Well along comes this angel sent from above and pulls us to a store at the first exit we come too. GOOD OLE EXIT 31 HAMMOND AT THE ON THE RUN (FIRST STORE ON RIGHT WHEN COMING OFF i55 from BR). It's around 930AM at this point. We inform the store of what's going on ...grab tons of snacks...and proceeded to Start diagnosing the issue. Several parts and dollars later, It's now almost 15 hours later, still won't crank and we are exhausted. SO we get a room for the night next door. Upon us leaving, I again informed the store of what was going on. The clerks were so nice and helpful and said ok to leave car over night since it's out of way AND on side of building. Two even said "NO PROBLEM AT ALL! THAT COULD BE IN! NO PROBLEM AT ALL".Cool. Next morning...we get up early...head to the car and start working on it again! Clerks walk by and check on us as they go into the store for their shifts. Mid morning comes and it is POURING rain and my dude is STILL working on car. The manager rolls up we say good morning to her and her response...you ganna get that outta here today. Shocked as hell we say yes ma'am we trying. She rolls her eyes and proceeds into work. Through the next few hours she'd show her horns and come snarling at us but say nothing. Car still not cranking. We have parts in lafayette and this angel from above offered to take us to get them since we have shelled out damn near $400 at this point trying to fix it. So, we inform the clerks, they have no issues and we leave. Almost to Lafayette and what happens, the guys transmission goes out! We knew we weren't going back last night at that point. I immediately called the store to inform them. All was good. Wake up this morning. Start heading back to get my car...I call the manager at this point to tell her and she hangs up in my face saying she towing it. WHAT! Yall! As I'm pulling up Into the store the tow truck is loading it. The guy was, thankfully, understanding and because the lady even told the guy we were keeping her informed the whole way, he was confused as to why he was even there and gave me my car back at no charge. We immediately take it out the parking lot. BEST PART! SHE WASNT THERE And i DIDNT GO TO JAIL! My point to this is since when. Since when does a person who lives in the south act like that! With a hurricane that just happened AT THAT AND I have TEXAS PLATES! THE car was completely out of the way. We didn't tear nothing up, make noise, nothing. And the amount of money I spent in that store over those 2 days was surly saying ima customer lol. The dude who stopped for to help us restored my faith in humanity once again...that, lets just say lady for fb purposes but IYKTYK..took IT away. Her staff is wonderful! Super helpful and nice. This is for On the Run Ponchatoula Branch Review: since I can't find it…read more My wife & I frequent this On the Run Gas Station. I choose to come here over a closer Chevron & use the Sonic attatched here for food, gas, & we also get milk here frequently. We came here tonight on Saturday Sept 21st around midnight (arrived at Sept 20th 11:55pm) & bought milk & prepaid $20 gas. We stayed in store & we decided to get a few more snacks and picked some things out. I asked the older female Caucasian cashier behind the counter (she has long bun hair that stands up)if there was a time limit on pumping the gas after paying & she said she can reset the pump it if we need it. We picked 2 snickers bars. Right by the counter was a yellow stone beef jerky mix & match 2 for $4 as well as the counter a 2 for $4 assorted candy. I picked 2 beef jerky's & 4 candies from counter. I told my wife to put back the 2 snickers bars as it's a better deal. She proceeded to scan them & total was over $15. With 3x2 for $4 deals it shoulda been around $13 with tax. I told her the price was not right & she told me that's what it rang up as. I explained to her the beef jerky's must be charged at the wrong price and grabbed 2 different beef jerky's from the 2 for $4 bin with the price tag. They rang up as the regular price $3 each or 2 for $6 instead of the 2 for $4 advertised. I mentioned this to her & she also said the candies were ringing up for more than the sign says. I said we would like the advertised deal & she said she said she cant do anything to change the price & started getting a very disrespectful & frustrated tone. I told her that the prices listed should be honored. She said she can't do anything and so do I want them or not? I told her not at the wrong price. She told me she didn't like the way I was sounding & I told her she is the one catching an additude with me and I'm the client and she is a client relations person and I do not treat my clients like this at my job. I told her I would just like the price listed or that is false advertising & some people might get mad about it so I laid the small sign attached to the beef jerky holder on the counter to show her it said 2 for $4 & also so no one else would get mad about it. She got madder & said "what do u want me to do I can't change the price". I told her the price is listed right there & she got more & more mad about it. She said "do u want it or not & I said I will buy it for the right price. I asked her again calmly how they list prices as one thing than charge more at the register & than get mad at the client asking. She snatched all the items from the counter and says I won't sell you anything & that i was being refused service. At this point she says to my wife "can u control your husband" and I said to her "you are this mad for me asking to get the price listed?". She than said she won't sell us anything & I said I am a paying customer & I spent money & can buy what I would like to. She argued that no I can't very loudly & She yelled some more & said we need to leave or she will call police & continued yelling leave before she calls police & has us trespassed. She kept yelling loudly she doesn't care about the price & come talk to my manager if we don't like it in the morning & I could have just "let it go & all kinds of other stuff about me very loudly". I never once yelled or said a disrespectful thing only asked her to honor the prices & not be disrespectful with us. She also yelled things at my wife. I did try to talk to her when she was yelling that this is ridiculous and do u treat all customers this way when they just want the advertised price? It was pretty embarrassing for me & my wife as regular customers there & for just wanting to buy some items for sale at the price listed . There were 2 other customers just standing there to checkout speechless & uncomfortable. I myself work in client relations & I never expect a customer to be treated this way. It was very unprofessional. I can't believe she was threatening to call police for this. It's false advertising. I suggest going to Chevron up the road.
