How can you expect me to just go along with "Well, I don't know how that was possible for a text to go out." or "That doesn't make sense." or today it was "Oh. I believe you, but it was only ordered on Friday, when you were here, so it should be here tomorrow." Newsflash. I wasn't even in the state in Friday. I was in to pick up something else on 1/24/23. I was told it likely came in with the shipment, but they hadn't opened it yet and to come back after 3. I got a text at 5:07 pm that it was ready, drove over, only to find the wait time insanely long and we just couldn't wait. Then on Thursday, 1/26/23 I get another reminder that it's ready. And on Friday, 1/27/23, I get ANOTHER text saying it's ready and will be held until 2/7. Yet according to your store, I was in the store on Friday and it was only just ordered. And this is not the first time this situation has happened. It's one thing if it's out of stock and there is a shortage. But tell me. Don't lie to me. This is an extremely important medication, and if you don't have it, I need to work with the doctor to find where I can get it. You need to do better. It's ridiculous to expect us to call to verify the text messages, make us "activate" a prescription even though a doctor has already prescribed it, and not be willing to be of more help. Now I'm faced, at no fault of my own, with having 2 family members without very important medications. Oh, and making it sound like it's my fault because of when I picked up the last prescription - even thought that was when you sent the text that it was finally ready - is also not cool. Time to find another pharmacy, I suppose.

I have been in this location before because of that, but I don't believe I've ever purchased anything here. I walked through the store, heading back towards the pharmacy as that is where I expected. I might find that I was looking for when I ran across the aisle I thought it should be in. I was hunting for Tylenol proactive Support which online shows available at places like Walgreens and CVS. I did not see any, but there was an employee nearby who I asked about it. They went searching through the app in their device and could not find a listing for it so apparently Walgreens here is not carrying it. They were very helpful and did suggest that I might try the competition across the street because I had mentioned that they might have it as well. After a quick look online, I did discover that the target on my way home showed it in stock and that's where I eventually found it. I was glad that the employees here were helpful and friendly. I will keep them in mind if there's something I'm in need of.

I woke up the next day at 12:41 pm (because I'm sick with a cold and bronchitis) requested it immediately before 1pm. I got confirmation that it was going to be delivered. Sometime, after 1, I received a call from Walgreens saying it was too late and it was going to be delivered the next day, Monday. Why? I have no idea. If it says I have until 1pm, I have until 1pm. Needless to say, I'm incredibly annoyed and inconvenienced. I can't breathe and couldn't even walk to my car. So folks, if you need yours med delivered, don't use this Walgreens until they get it together.

After this sort of treatment just opted to forgo any purchase & left. Went next door to veterinary facility that was more then welcoming, clean & very respectful. I wouldn't go bk to this pharmacy again. I came home & ordered the pillow online. It's nice to know that this isn't the only speciality pharmacy in this area. Its a spanish grocery store. They sell bakery items , meats and produce. Similar to Bravo or Unidos but smaller. Located in Polk Counter in Winter Haven area. They do not have a glass case for meats and seafood like other grocery stores - They pack the meats and seafood in styrofoam trays and priced and place in cooler shelves. So Oxtails are precut and they are sliced not too thick. Its good this way cause its easier to cook them. They have parts where you need to trim the fat. The prices ranges from $11-16 depending on weight. I bought an eggplant here also needed for my dish for $1.49 - No they are not chinese eggplants they are the huge ones like you see at walmart. The bakery cooler section they offer array of flans flavors and tres leches cakes. They also offer cookies and pastries in a regular shelf near the cash register. Staff here understand english if not you can always ask a customer to translate for you.

By far the Haas avocados we purchased from Santiago's were the best we have been able to find after moving to the area several months ago. Almost every avocado we have purchased elsewhere "ripened" into garbage and ended up getting tossed. Not these avos! They ripened very well and it was a joy to consume them! Not knowing if this was an outlier we returned a couple of weeks later and purchased more. Just as good! This time around I hit up the hot/fresh food service area and selected a tripe laden soup and their equivalent to chicharrones, which appeared more like pieces of fried pork belly. Both were delicious! I did add some red pepper to the soup (it was semi-bland to me) which elevated it quite a bit. I returned again today, for MORE of their avocados! I also opted to get some more of those pork belly looking chicharrones! I also ordered a small container of marinated octopus pieces (it was very fresh and delicious). Unless I find a better Hispanic Market (I had actually been searching for a Mexican Market, but they seem to carry all types of Hispanic and Caribbean food items) this place gets the 5 star approval rating!
