The customer service at this store was great. The people were friendly and definitely accommodating considering I was transferring a prescription from out of town and they were able to take care of me no problem which I really appreciated. Normally customer service at big pharmacies can be hit or miss depending on the kind of day they're having and how stressed out they are. This store was in good spirits and everyone had a good sense of humor and quickly got my prescription and had me in and out in hardly any time which I appreciated. I waited 10 mins in drive-thru and was at the window at 5:01. Last car too. They put the sign used up in my face and refused to give me my prescription! Never have I ever. read more

Employees don't care about your time or money. Stopped in to get prescription and was told it wasn't covered by insurance and the cost was more than I could pay. Didn't think about using a discount prescription code till I left. Line way too long to go back. Went back a few days later and had to wait 45 min for the prescription. (They reshelved it after I wouldn't pay their full price) I used discount card, but first they tried to collect full price. Didn't even try to look up if possibly cheaper with any codes they have access to. Discount code thru GoodRX was less than half of the original price they wanted... I'll never use any Walgreens again. None of this would have happened if they would try to give their customers the best price possible. read more

This has to be one of my favorite stores in Freeport! There are 2 Walgreens in town but this one is by far the best. How much more exiting can it get?! lol It is always nice and clean and fully stocked. I believe it is a recent construction, about 5+yrs. They carry Essie and I can spend about an hour in the nail/hair department. You must get the rewards card because sometimes they run specials like buy one get one half off of the Nexus Line and stuff like that and its great :) read more

I'm sad to say things have changed. After the loss of all pharmacy staff, the service has hit rock bottom. Mix ups on prescriptions, delays, impatient and brisk staff. They even laughed about a question I asked after they thought I was out of earshot.. I was not. This was previously a top of the line store. Hate to switch, I've been there so long, but I'm considering it. read more
