Called Walgreens at 8:00pm MST on 8/22/2025. I was placed on hold with no interaction with a human being. I stayed on hold for 1hour and 10 minutes. The phone was picked up twice, I knew this because the music stopped and no answer on the other end and I was placed back on hold!!!! I hung up. What is the point of having a phone number to call when no one answers. I want answers from corporate. being short staffed is no longer a reason for bad customer service!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Speed. This location seems to work very hard to make customers wait longer. Inconvenient, slow, and rude staff. Only use it because it's slightly better than Walmart. Would rather have family-owned business than this big box corporate mess. They're not less expensive than others, either. Can't think of a single reason to return. I was in Walgreens at 1:25 today. the pharmacist said one prescription was ready but the other would have to wait until after they get back from lunch at 2:00. i asked them how long after 2:00 would I have to wait and her response was, " probably around 3:00. both the girl at the counter an pharmacist were very rude. read more

Walgreens Edgewood Pharmacy Awful customer service. Unfriendly on the phone. Unfriendly in person. They'll do anything to not do their jobs; give you wrong information so you have to do the work instead of them (while transferring prescriptions to their pharmacy). All around awful. read more

Gave this location 1 star because 0 is not an option. The store manager is extremely rude, confrontational and arrogant. He has zero customer service skills and the emotional intelligence of a doorknob. There are a few helpful employees, but they are typically new, younger employees who haven't been influenced by the negative, cynical attitude of the longer-term employees and the manager. Although this Walgreens is the closest to my home, I am changing to a store where customers are treated with respect. read more

This is the third time I've been in this store where the music is so loud you can't think, shop or talk to someone with you. The prices are high especially when you consider Walmart is just down the road. Not loud, blaring loud. The few times we've used the pharmacy it's a nightmare wait time. Getting our flu shots there , well I won't go there again. I also don't understand any store using paper coupons. Pointless waste of time. Bought some makeup on sale and even with the coupon it would have been cheaper at Walmart. Probably won't be going there again. read more

Walgreens Edgewood New Mexico Pharmacy Review - Rude, unprofessional and mean. I am a chronic pain patient and have been using this pharmacy for over 10 years, living only a mile or so away. Usually I don't think about their service, but last Friday was simply weird and my experience involved more than one employee. When I called in, in the morning, to see if my doctor had called in my prescription for pain meds, the person on the phone said yes, but the doctor had included a note that it could not be filled until Sunday (two more days). Turns out this was a lie, but I sent my doctor a note and asked her to please call the pharmacy and tell them I could pick it up that day. (She later said she was confused, as the note she had left with it had said to expedite the prescription, not delay it.) I stopped by at the drive up that evening on the way home from work to see if it was ready, and the person behind the glass started yelling at me that they could not fill it sooner as it was illegal. Telling me something is one thing, but screaming at me is unprofessional and unacceptable. My doctor and I traded messages, and while they had told me she'd delayed it, they told her I was trying to get them to fill it early. Bad week for pain. Can only get med refills once a month as I near running out. Was out this time and had to go without meds Friday PM through Sunday AM. These folks are so afraid of the State that they treat customers as addicts and criminals. Do not go here if you are a pain sufferer. read more

Nice store, pharmacy needs a little work in the customer service department. Went in to get my flu shot, I had requested the spray instead of the injection... yep I am that gal... the one who squinches her face up and holds her breath at the very word "injection"- anyhoo, the cashier took my free flu shot card ran it through, and then told me they were out of the spray version. I advised her I would take my cowardly behind to another provider and asked her to reverse the charge for the service. She said she couldn't.Now I admit, I could have simply taken the (shivers) "injection" but chose to leave. None the less, they could have done something to accommodate me in the very beginning- like advising me they were out of the nasal spray BEFORE they ran my card. So kudos to you Walgreens pharmacy- you got $20.00 for nothing, but in the long run, you have lost much much more.... read more

The pharmacy sucks at this location. I went three different times to pick up a rx and they still didn't have it ready. When they have problems with prescriptions they make you call the dr not them. Very unprofessional read more

It's a Walgreens, which means that it will be nearly identical to any other Walgreens you might happen to visit in the United States. They have a pharmacy, they have various sundries, they sell cigarettes. You can buy deodorant and drop off film to be processed (who does that any more?). A basic one stop shop that can fill most basic needs you might have. read more

Never again the girls behind the counter sit and chat or giggle for several minutes before they even say hello or any kind of greeting Also, they have small kids behind the counter playing with medications on top of the girl handing me someone else's medications wow never again . I was there for almost an hour and watched at least 5 senior citizens leave with no medications because the women behind the counter " Amanda and another girl named Shawna or Sasha - refused to call their insurance and just let these people leave with no medication and not knowing what they needed to do what a shame .. read more

I noticed that the reviews for the pharmacy weren't very favorable so I was a little apprehensive about having my doctor calling in a prescription there, but I was traveling and needed medication. Shawna could not of been more helpful! She went the extra mile to get my insurance information, so I didn't have to pay retail! She told me she could not make any promises but would try. She came thru and 10 minutes later, I walked out the door, prescription in hand. Thank you Shawn for representing the pharmacy at this Walgreens! I appreciated your smile and service! read more

Awful prescription dropped off days before and still not ready whats the point they literally cant get anything done in any kind of timely mannar will be going to smiths from now on !!!! O and dont bother with the employees they are rude and could care less about the customer. read more
