Went here to get a passport photo taken for one of our kids on Monday, they took it incorrectly or printed it incorrectly or something. When we went back in 2 days later after being rejected for them messing it up, they made us buy another one. Nice read more

Received 0/3 medications,even after the website said that they were "in progress" the pharmacist waited until I reached the store to let me know that they were out of stock on ALL medications....try another pharmacy, this one is not worth the trouble. read more

Second rating in a week. Suppose to have medicine last Friday. Did not have it. Wife went in Monday, did not have it, be a couple days. This is Thursday, was NOT ready, will be at least 30 minutes. Like I said in my last review, Walgreens does not care and never will. Just a horrible customer service business. Consistently run it through our old insurance, charge us wrong, "don't know who you spoke to last time", they know all of the things to say because they do so many things wrong it is second hand to have the excuses ready. Poor little gal that just got chewed on. like I said, I never post bad reviews, but this place is the worst I have ever seen and it has been going on for at least a year or longer. Their pharmacy is disgusting. If you look behind the counter while you are in the drive thru you can see trash everywhere. It looks completely disorganized and quit frankly it looks dirty and unkempt. I even saw a lady filling a prescription (counting pills) with no gloves on standing at her computer. That is completely unsanitary and for someone who works in what is considered a health care position should know this. There are several people who work there yet, prescriptions are never done on time and I always have an extended wait while at the drive thru. My final straw with their pharmacy was again when I saw the lady counting pills with no gloves on and I actually took the time to see how incredibly disorganized and unsanitary their pharmacy looked. That along with employees standing around talking instead of helping customers. I now use DAMM pharmacy across the street from them and their employees are amazing. I arrange for my family to get updated Covid shots at the Walgreens Derby pharmacy. Scheduling a day in advance. All five appointments, when we arrived we had to wait a total of two hours before we can get all the paperwork and everything completed. The pharmacy technician who administer the shot was very good. However, she is a one woman show and the pharmacy is extremely short handed. Be prepared to wait. Beyond the waiting period, it was a decent experience to get updated shots. read more

I would give them negative stars if I could. They never have prescriptions ready in a timely manner. Even while sick and my prescriptions were sent in at 11am they were not ready by 3pm. Still left to suffer and wait. To make matters worse each month I have an auto refill medicine that is always out of stock. If someone refills the medicine and is on it for over a year you would think that they could get it in stock in a timely manner. This month 8 days after it was auto refilled they still had not got the medicine in stock. I finally had to drive to a Wichita location to get the prescription myself. The staff show no care in the world or sympathy for the inconvenience that they put customers through. read more

This Wal-Greens has the most polite staff. I get my prescriptions filled here and they are great at reminding me when they are ready.

Watch out for this pharmacy I have gone in 5 times in a row for my grandmother's medication and it has been shorted exactly 4 pills each time. read more

It seems like a lot of the chain stores and Derby are typically below par compared to the ones in Wichita, but that certainly wasn't true at this Walgreens location. I've been to a lot of Walgreens all over Sedgwick County, and I have to say this was probably one of my favorites. The store is about the same size and has pretty much all the same stuff as all the other locations, and it's kept pretty much just as clean as all the other ones, what really makes this one better it is the staff. Perhaps it was just when I visited, the staff at this location is always been very friendly and very helpful. If the manager of this location happens to read this review I suggest raising the wages of your workers so that you can retain your above-average workforce. They're what keeps me coming back. read more
