I completely understand the need to close for floor cleaning safety issues . But shutting down between 9:00 PM and 10:30 PM makes no sense. That's prime time for people grabbing last-minute essentials, and it's incredibly frustrating to be turned away during that window of time. What really made the experience worse was the staff's attitude. They love closing down the store at 9 pm for them it's a break from the customers. If cleaning needs to happen, fine, but adjust the timing due at 2am Right now, it feels poorly planned and handled with zero consideration for customers . What's the point of 24hr Walgreens when you gotta shut down at 9pm until 10- 10:30 pm do at 1am or later. Very poor management! read more

If I could give this Walgreens 0 stars, I would! I went to this Walgreens to pick up a prescription for my mother. Before getting there, I called, starting at 5 pm, to make sure it would be ready. I was told that there was an issue with her insurance, so I told them I would pay for it out of pocket. I was supposed to be transferred to the dispensing pharmacist but was actually hung up on. I then called back and was placed on hold for a ridiculous amount of time. I get to the store and am finally able to meet with a pharmacy assistant and told her that I called twice, was hung up on the first time and placed on hold the second, but that I let them know I was paying for medication out of pocket - there was no apology or anything, only told "oh, the prescription won't be ready until after our lunch - after 7:15 pm", at this point, it was 5:30 pm. After reading the reviews, I see that I'm not the only one they have treated this poorly, and sadly, this is the only location that's close to my mother. I'm having her transfer all of her prescriptions to either a Walgreens near me, I live near Oak Lawn or transfer them to a CVS or something because people should not have to deal with the dismissive and uncaring attitudes experienced at this location. I'm also contacting corporate to complain because this is ridiculous!!!! read more

PLEASE do yourself a favor and don't choose this place as your pharmacy. I've come repeatedly and each time I promise you it's an over 20 minute wait. I've also come here, dropped off a prescription, been told to return 30 minutes later, just to return, wait in line another 20 minutes and be told they don't have the medicine and that I'll have to return the next day. This has happened at least twice now. Ridiculous. read more

Just left Walgreens and was attended by the rudest cashier on site. Starting off, he threw a card to his coworker who was standing near him. The cashier goes by the name David and as he rang me up- I handed my ID for my transaction. This person slid my card across the counter and I HANDED him cash for my purchase. He slid my change over the counter once again and I asked him directly "Are you unable to hand things to people"? I do not recommend coming to this location. One of the few decent employees there is Octavio. Hope he finds a better location with decent coworkers. read more

Came here at 4am the doors were locked. It clearly states online and on the door that the store hours are 24 hours 7 days a week

Walked in at11:30pm you see 4 staff there having an inappropriate conversation as soon as you walk in.I was still able to hear them all the way at the end . Even after 4 members behind the counter. This pharmacy has to be the worse of the worse in the cicero,berwyn,stickney, riverside, area. Waited 1 hr even aftwr getting my message on my "prescription is ready". An extra 15 mins for the pharmacist to prepare. Poor old 82 yr old man in front of me waited neaely an hr standing. If I could give less stars... this place is the worst for RX and their customer service is trash. They don't even acknowledge your existence while standing in front of them at the register. They start doing random things while you wait like a mannequin. And they're rude because I guess they know you need your medicine so what else can you do but wait and wait. You're in luck if your RX is ready on time too. SMH. read more

Pharmacy was lazy and not helpful. I asked for a Covid test. She told me to check an aisle. There wasn't even a spot (even if sold out) that had a place for them. I went to front counter- was told Covid tests are located with pharmacy. Interesting. So disappointing read more

Evertyime no maTter what hour you get here there is always a damn line here. It can be one or two people ahead of u n ur going to b stuck iN line for at least 20 min. Worst place to pick up prescription. If you can avoid this place do it. read more

They take so long to do a covid test it's insane, i had an appointment for 11:00 and i got there at 10:55 , they told me that the pharmacist was on break and she will be back at 11:15, fast foward to 11:50 and she still isnt back and a other lady comes and tells me she wont be back for a little longer as if 35 didnt pass already, horrible service read more

Pharmacy is the worst. Long line and there are 4 people working back and only one on the register. Better go somewhere else to do your prescriptions. I also wanted to get mucinex and you have to wait 1 minutes for someone to go open the cage. They might need better management to fix these issues. read more

My wife has auto refill and called her telling her the medication was ready. I pull up to get it and the pharma assistant told me she didn't have auto refill and NOTHING was ready for her. This lady was rude as fuck. I asked her to fill it and she said NO because they closed in 30 minutes. 30 fucking minutes!!! It takes less than 2 minutes to grab the pack, put it in a bag, print the label and out we go. This is bad customer service!!!! Don't go here! You will die waiting for meds!!! read more

Pharmacy staff is not too bad, I feel like the store really needs to hire more staff because the amount of people in line very time I go is extremely ridiculous. I always wait 20 or more minutes just to talk to someone for a medication that has been ready for hours. The staff is not the happiest, but who would be if they didn't have the appropriate amount of help. Get it together Walgreens and the customers and staff would be so much happier! read more

Far and away the worst pharmacy I have ever encountered. Don't bother calling in your prescription ahead of time. Apparently not even 5 full days is long enough for them to fill a prescription that they already have in stock. And anything they tell you is just a lie to get you off their back. They will get your meds when they are damn good and ready and not before. Oh, and they apparently think it's acceptable to have a whole 2 people working the entire pharmacy department on a busy Saturday afternoon with the line stretching down the aisle. Great management, said no one ever. Please, go ANYWHERE else. You could die waiting for your meds here. If I could give them negative stars I would. read more
