this was the worst experience I have ever had at a pharmacy. Im visiting from out of town and had a paper prescription for medication for my baby so I took it there. I was told it would be a 15 minute wait. We waited for over 45 minutes, so I went to check to see what the issue was because we had been there for about an hour, which was frustrating because I would have left to feed my 54 day old had I known the time. They apologized and said they just got the "go ahead" to fill it. I asked if they would prioritize filling it since the wait was three times longer then expected. The pharmacy tech told me "she was working on it now, minus the time it took for her to have this conversation" then she stormed off. It was the rudest encounter I have had possibly ever with someone in customer service. where I work, if we ever treated customers this way we would be fired on the spot. Further more, no pharmacist came to talk to me about this new medication- which actually has pretty serious side effects like bottoming out a baby's blood sugar and respiratory failure. As a nurse, thankfully I'm in health care and know this, but the tech just said "hey you don't have to talk to the pharmacist if you don't want to." You absolutely have to talk to a pharmacist any time you are starting something new- that is standard care. what if I wasn't in health care and just said no and took it and left without any counseling on the blood sugar dip and how important frequent feedings are? they could literally be killing people. Rude and unsafe. unfortunately for the poor people of Chippewa there isn't many options for them. costco Has a nice pharmacy not too far from Chippewa, go there folks. read more

There is always drama here. Long wait in drive up. Lots of delays. Nobody seems to know what they're doing. Go to Hy Vee.

My favorite pharmacy is gone. Out of business. It was Chippewa clinic pharmacy in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, where I could call and talk to an associate to fill my prescriptions. Now I get some robo messaging that doesn't understand plain simple English. Gone are the days when you could talk to a human being instead of an idiot robot voice that makes filling a prescription a hassle and won't be filled the same day. And they call this progress. Same as dropping a letter in the mailbox in Cadott, WI. And it takes a week to get to Chippewa Falls WI. Because the mail has to go to the Twin cities in MN. First. This Walgreens was fairly packed on a weekend afternoon, but the staff was willing to help us find a couple of items that we were having trouble locating, including running to the back to check to see if there was any inventory that hadn't been put out yet. The store was clean though we were disappointed that some of the shelves seemed sort of empty (which is rare at a Walgreens), including items like sour cream and ranch dressing which must be popular. The store is pretty big, though, and tends to have decent deals (such as 2 for $10 Digorno pizzas). Lots of parking in front of the store which makes it pretty convenient and this store seems like it's open almost all the time. read more

Increasingly frustrated with service at this pharmacy. Tried to get an immunization four times without success. 1st time - we don't have it in stock, but call us when you know you'll be back and we'll order it. 2nd time - called and pharmacy tech said she'd order it and I'd receive a call to confirm it arrived, but if I didn't receive a call, I should call back. 3rd time - called because Walgreens never called me. Pharmacy Tech told me she could see if was on order and would be there by the date I needed it. 4th time - call on the date we discussed, pharmacy tech said they didn't have any and could order it for me.
