I should've listened to the other reviews, I just wish I could have left a zero star review. So I made an appointment with the Walgreens store (11897) located at 504 Kings Hwy in Cherry Hill, NJ. So I make an appt. yesterday online and gave them all of my info and signed the consent form for my flu vaccine on 11.30.24. I show up for my appt. a few minutes early and checked in using the queue code on my cell and filled out all my information again. 20 minutes later someone behind the counter asked why I was there (apparently checking the schedule was too difficult). Even tho I had been standing in line for 10minutes when I first arrived trying to get someones attention, they must have been overloaded with the three other people there and were not able to handle the high traffic load?? There were more employees behind the counter than there were customers. Eventually, after I had been there for over 30 min (after my scheduled appt time), they again asked me for the same info I had supplied twice before. Then after wasting my time for another 10 minutes they told me they do not accept my prescription medication plan. BUT, they did tell me I could pay out of pocket if I'd like. Yeah, right-after wasting half my morning dealing with incompetent employees that couldn't care less. I expect that treatment from fast food workers, but not from a chain pharmacy. Getting a flu shot should not be this difficult. But when they can't even get something this basic done in a reasonable amount of time, it's no wonder they have been shutting stores down across they country. This location should be the next one to go. I will never patronize this Walgreens again, or any other for that matter. Absolutely HORRIBLE!! read more

Does Walgreens pharmacy take walk-in appointments for Flu and Covid shots? Then it say schedule a walk-in appointment what does that mean? So after no help from the staff in the pharmacy I was given a number to call. So scheduled the appointment on line using my cell number since I am an existing customer at this Walgreens. Upon arrival I was advised to scan the QR code to check in for my flu shot. After scanning the QR code I was advised by by phone that I did not have an appointment but I had a confirmation email from Walgreens that I did have an appointment. At that point the most unprofessional and rudest pharmacist came to show me what to do? Guess what the QR thing did not work again nice try Walgreens. After a short delay and consultation with Miss Unprofessional I did receive my flu shot. Now to be fair the pharmacist did a great job administering the shot. Conclusion good flu shot was very disappointed on how I was treated. What could this Walgreens do better is have a full time person administering the shots during flu season we know Walgreens has the money to pay such a person! read more

I used to love to love this Walgreens but they have cleaned house and the new staff if completely incompetent. I made an appt for a COVID test today because my wife tested positive. My rapid test at home was negative but I have symptoms and so work wants a negative PCR. They have no record of my appt and then tell me that my insurance has no record of me. I think it that was true I would have known sooner than December. My insurance has t changed, it's the same one in their system. My appt was for 4:15, it's not 4:45 and they keep saying one moment. I'm about ready to go to patient first and get my test there because with this level of incompetence I doubt I'll get my results or that they'll even be send out correctly. read more

I'm typically not the kind of person who rights bad reviews or complains but I feel like this is a problem that should be addressed. I called the pharmacy to check what time they closed. My ETA was 6:03, 3 minutes after their closing time. I arrived at 5:59 just to be brushed off by one of your pharm techs letting me know they are closed. While I understand you guys close at 6, I drove 40 minutes to try my best to get here on time... and I DID, one minute before closing! But still could not get my medication. I watched them take the register out and refuse to serve me because "the register has already been pulled".... I literally watched him pull the register which means if I saw him, he saw me. And he didn't give a shit. I saw the pharm tech running out of the building at 6:03. I will never ever ever fill my prescription at another Walgreens again. Too bad I have to wait to speak to my doctor again to move my prescription back to CVS which I should've never transferred in the first place. Such a sad excuse of employees that work in health care. You guys ought to be ashamed honestly. I mean for crying out loud I'm literally picking up MEDICATION, assholes. read more

I really like coming to this Walgreens location - friendly staff, great prices, and convenient location within a mile or so from my home. Although I don't think it is a 24 hour store anymore. I really like their rewards system. It is a nice surprise when they say, "You have $5 in rewards. Would you like to use it toward this purchase?" Overall, this is a really nice store. read more

Honestly have completely had it with this Walgreens. Get calls that my prescriptions are ready, so I go, and I wait 20+ minutes for it. Why tell me it's ready?! Second, this is twice now that the tech won't give me my prescriptions because she thinks they're wrong since I'm pregnant. news flash- my ob knows what she's calling in & if I didn't get my medicine that you're withholding from me for NO reason, I will die. I still stand by the fact their workers are very nice, yet lots has changed at this location since my review back in 2015. In 2017 they "cleaned house", when it came to its Pharmacy staff. Sadly all these new workers seem overloaded and inexperienced so they have been known to "drop the ball" a lot. As nice as they may be it doesn't lessen the fact that they mess up frequently. They get very confused when you drop off a script and ask them to just hold it on your account and not to run it through yet. When they do run it (and they always do), they continuously will call asking why haven't I picked it up. When I inform them it's because I currently don't need it, they ignore me and continue to call anyway. Also for whatever reason these new workers (Pharmacy staff & the rest of the staff) are not educated on what a Walgreens Prescription Savings Club card is (whereas all the former workers were.) I pay every year for this card not only to help with scripts, but it can give discounts on some regular Walgreens items purchased at the store (as it's advertised online.) For the past 2 years everytime I try to give it to anyone checking out, they always ask me "What is this", and "what do I do with it." When I ask them to swipe it, most say they will not do it. So that card has become useless to me here. I tried to give this Pharmacy the benefit of a doubt because they were so amazing since opening, yet I think it's now time for me to go elsewhere and leave Walgreens altogether and I have! read more

This is my go to pharmacy and been going here since it ,1st opened. I get all my prescription here and the pharmacist here is awesome . She has been so swamped and yet has always been so nice to ask me how I am . I haven't ever had a pharmacist who actually went out of her way to research a drug had questions about and contact me about a serious interaction with two meds my dr prescribed . It could have been fatal kinda scary but very grateful , sadly the company transferred her to another store and the new one is def not like Hope. Overall, it used to be a 24 hr pharmacy but changed now it closes at 10pm. The store is 24 hour which is good especially when it's an emergency and u need something in middle of nite. Overall, I do find u can find deals but the prices on over the counter is much more pricier than if u bought say like Excedrin migraine pain reliever or any over the counter meds at Walmart. The place is right on corner of route ,70 across from the huge Garden State Pavilion complex. read more

Used to be a great pharmacy with fast courteous service and a friendly knowledgeable pharmacist . Changes have been made unfortunately. Now it seems the pharmacy has gone from a fast and friendly experience to a "Delay or Deny" moto whenever possible. Please understand that I'm not someone jumping from pharmacy to pharmacy trying to get prescriptions filled earlier than they should be or shouldn't be filled at all. I'm a 61 year person disabled with Multiple Sclerosis, however God forbid your doctor should prescribe a controlled substance to help manage symptoms. Be aware I'm not just referring to that type of medication, I'm referring to non controlled medication as well. Also in my opinion if you voice any type of dissatisfaction with the Walgreens pharmacy, you will be flagged at all Walgreens pharmacies. This is my first review on Yelp but didn't know of any other way to voice my frustration. Contacting Walgreens Customer Service was also disappointing.
