Wawa on RT 38: A Necessary Stop for Convenience The Wawa…read morelocations along Route 38 serve as critical stops for anyone traveling through the area. They consistently deliver on the promise of fast, all-in-one convenience, making them a reliable choice for fuel, food, and quick necessities. The Good: Speed and Selection * Fuel and Flow: For a quick refuel, the gas pumps are typically well-staffed and efficient, which is a major benefit on a busy route like 38. The prices are competitive with other stations in the area. * Built-to-Order Hoagies and Food: The touch-screen ordering system ensures your food is made exactly how you want it, which is the gold standard for Wawa. Whether you're grabbing a Sizzli for breakfast or a classic Italian Hoagie for lunch, the speed of service is usually excellent, even during rush hour. * Coffee Reliability: The self-serve coffee station is always stocked with a variety of blends, including regular, decaf, Hazelnut, and French Vanilla. For coffee lovers, it's a dependable spot to grab a hot, fresh cup. Areas for Intentional Improvement * Parking Lot Intentional: As is common with many high-volume Wawas, the parking lots can be extremely busy and sometimes difficult to navigate, especially if you're trying to park and go inside while others are fueling up. During peak times, maneuvering in and out of the lot requires extra caution. * In-Store Traffic: The interior of the store can get congested quickly. With separate lines for the register, the food pickup counter, and the coffee station, the flow of customer traffic isn't always smooth, which can lead to intentional slowdowns. Final Verdict The Wawa on RT 38 is a quintessential convenience stop. It's an intentional choice when you need to grab fuel and a custom-made meal or coffee in one place. While the location's popularity and high traffic levels mean you should expect a crowd, the staff typically handles the volume efficiently. If you value speed and made-to-order options over a quiet, easy-in/easy-out experience, this Wawa will meet your needs reliably. Is there a specific Wawa location on Route 38 you were interested in, such as the one in Maple Shade or Mount Laurel?

They have pizza here like all the other locations... I will say, for the price Wawa charges for a pizza I think it's smarter to go to a pizza place!!! You'll get a better tasting pizza in my opinion... Their local competitors like 7-Eleven sale by the slice or a whole pie... Wawa forces you to by a whole pie

The bread did not taste as good as it normally does and I should've returned it but I thought maybe they changed their bread at this location (I've ordered this same sandwich many times before from this location). I did also order an iced coffee which I only took a sip of. Not because it made me feel ill but because I don't normally drink til I'm done eating. Since it was the only thing I ate that day and everything that I ate the day before, I ate a day later (leftovers) with no problems. But on a good note, I lost 2lbs! :-)

It was nice to see another location, but getting here after getting off the highway was a bit of a headache. However, once I did get into the lot and after I found a parking spot, I ran inside to use the facilities. Not unlike most Wawa locations, the facilities here ware cramped. One toilet, one urinal, not the roomiest set up, but if you need to go, you need to go. Once out of the facilities I ran to get a beverage and something small to snack on so that I could be on my way. Getting through the checkout line was easy. Once outside I stretched my legs a bit before I was on my way again towards my final destination. That is after I fought my way through the parking lot and back out on the road.

A woman with red hair was working the register (didn't get her name) and she was having an issue with a customer & as he exited, she yelled to him, go to 7-11 next time. I spoke to her because I know how hard customer service is, but then after the next customer walked away, she said to me, F-ing foreigners. I was appalled that in today's state of the world, a WaWa employee would speak so racist pubicaly to another customer. What she didn't realize until my husband walked up to me is that my husband is a Latino and I was disgusted by her behavior. Is this the type of person WaWa wants representing them to the public? Do better. We will NEVER spend our money here again.

There is a car at the air pump so I pull up next to their car. They finally back up and I waited at least 15 minutes. As they begin to exit the parking lot a small gray car comes flying up to the air pump. Never saw her but this woman of color jumps out of her car with an Eagles "hoodie" and begins screaming at us. The argument ensues and her arms are flying all over the place with the "hose" in one hand looking menacing toward my wife and I. Now I'm thinking there might be an UZI under the seat. Score one for the Eagles. Anyways is there a procedure to follow while waiting to use an air pump? Wawa is the only station that offers this for FREE. I refuse to pay up to $2.00 for air.

The hot dogs looked like they had been rotating since the fall of the Roman Empire. The floor was sticky enough to legally classify as a trap. One of the slurpee machines was making sounds I've only heard from dying lawnmowers. Cashier stared at me like I personally caused inflation. Also why was there ONE single banana sitting near the register like it was on display in a museum??? 1 stars because the air conditioning worked. There was mold all over the place and I saw a large rat run across the ground and there was open chips and food EVERYWHERE. I saw a massive pile of poop from a dog and when I said domthinf abt it they said it was fake and for display. The entire store spelled like piss and trash and mold. I went there and almost threw up. There was people walking around shirtless and just in their underwear and it was HORRIBLE. I went to pay and they said it declined when I saw it go through THEY STOLE MY MONEY! This was not a 7-Eleven. This was a biohazard site pretending to be a convenience store. The second I opened the door I got hit with a smell so foul it felt physically aggressive. Like spoiled milk, burnt hot dogs, and wet socks all fighting for dominance in the air. The floor near the soda machine made a peeling sound every single step. I'm not exaggerating when I say I think my shoe is still stuck there spiritually. There was a hot dog on the roller grill that had turned a color not found in nature. I saw a fly land on it and immediately leave. The nacho cheese looked alive. Not warm. Alive. One of the refrigerators was leaking some thick mystery liquid and employees had just put a single napkin next to it like that was gonna solve anything. I grabbed a bag of chips and somehow the bag itself was greasy. HOW DOES THAT EVEN HAPPEN. Bathroom looked like it had lost a war. I made eye contact with another customer and we both silently understood we needed to leave immediately. 1 star because I cant leave 0 and just because I made it out alive. WORST experience EVER.
